Absolutely loved this one! 5🌟's Wanted by the War chief 🌟💖🔥
I scored the first book , but this second one spoke to me. Verity , is a royal Archivist she's cute me to the orcs to look at their histories and other founding documents and to find out what really happened to her brother at a mountain skirmish four hears ago. She doesn't plan on Targesh and all the things he makes her feel and want. There is no way she should be this attracted to 7 ft of pure muscle and a keen mind, but she is. Targesh, has been the War chief for over 20years and he been alone longer than that. He quiet , observant and sees so much that others fail to process. He does not expect Verity and his she makes him feel. She ask boundless questions because she Genuinely wants to know. He never believed he was destined for a relationship or love but with Verity he wants both more than anything else he has ever wanted . the world building is great the characters are well written, have chemistry and their love builds slowly through stories and leading little things about each other that create a picture they both want to be a part of. Highly recommend🔥💖🌟i honestly hope there's will be another in the series coming soon 💖🔥🌟💖🌟🔥💖🌟🔥💖🌟🔥💖🌟🔥🌟💖

So, I was feeling delicate recently and decided to re-watch The Fellowship of the Ring for the first time in years, and I was struck, as I was as a child, by how deeply othered the orcs were. How because they were Other it was fine to kill and maim them with impunity. I was always so bothered and upset by that. You never got to see any sort of kindness shone on them. So. I decided to find a book where they got some love.
I adored this book. I read a lot of romance, and it has been a long, long time where I have read one where the FMC was shown so much respect, especially for her intelligence. I loved how much consent there was too. Also how beautifully this book tackled grief. It was so lovely how she was given the space and love to really move through that. I hope that this author continues to write such hopeful books. Highly recommend.

"Softness is not weakness."
I just finished this book in preparation for the next book in the series, which comes out tomorrow. THESE BOOKS ARE SO GOOD. And I am very hard to please, so that should tell you something. lol
If you want drama, fighting, bad boys, that kind of thing, and NEED that to keep you interested, these books aren't really for you. They are GENTLE. They are SOFT. Truly a love story, but with lots of spice, and low drama.
These are the kind of books I crave, and the fact that it's about a plus-size girl? Yes please, these were practically written FOR me.
Look past the title and the AI cover - these books are actually well-written, beautiful stories of love, understanding and acceptance. And Etta definitely has a fan in me.
Also? I legit need physical copies. XD

I was delighted to find out that there's actually plot in this book and the main characters are sophisticated, unlike the first impression that the cover and title might suggest. Moreover, this book is suitable for archive and library fans. I'm still reading but this has been a suprisingly cozy read so far which is much to my liking.

Bitch I cried 😭😭😭 how the hell was this cute spicy lil romance author able to write about grief in such a profound way. Literally did not see that coming at all. So good. Sometimes you NEED a wholesome book!!!!!!

better than first book
This was a better story than the first book. The characters seemed to have better interactions and dialog. The story was sweet and the writing is eloquent. Has some interesting things to say about grief. Worth reading.

This is book #2 of 3-book series. it can be read as a stand-alone, but the MCs from book #1 Claimed by the Orc Captain are secondary characters in this book.
