As Isadora begins to imagine a life beyond the family name, and Hadrian’s congressional campaign allows no room for deviation, a relationship neither of them can afford threatens to fracture everything the Carter-Bellos have built.
Under the scrutiny of a nation watching their every move, loyalty is tested, secrets surface, and the cost of defiance grows steeper by the day.
When love threatens legacy, how much are they willing to risk... and who will ultimately pay the price?
For readers drawn to the family drama of Malibu Rising, the powerful political figures of Scandal and FX’s Love Story, and the angsty romantic intensity of Jessa Hastings.
From all the romance in this book the most heard breaking one is the sibling relationship. I have never cried more at the end of a book; I actually couldn’t breathe. What made the crying worse was that the author dedicated the book to her brothers. Knowing this just made the ending even more heartbreaking. I am not kidding when I say that I am going to harass B. Ramonda to release the sequel asap fast as possible because I need to know what happens next. Also the character Leo, so HOT!!!! I love the way the book translates Isa’s translations in a way where you only get what Leo gets. Really fun to read. I love the illustrations. Also now I am all of a sudden into Gemmology… I loved it! 11/10!
