Rate this book
A creator baffled by a diabolical computer game, an artist's struggle with his latest conquest, the law hunting for an ingenious criminal, a woman's desire for a man not her husband – these are just some of the characters that populate this eclectic collection. DISTANT ECHOES, Vol 1, penned by writers based in India and abroad, consists of nine winning stories from Short Story 12x12 challenge held online in 2014. A work of love and dedication, this e-anthology is a result of the dedication of a group of writers who got together online, consistently wrote one short story a month in 2014, and helped build a trusty, helpful community for contemporary women writers.

A great collection of stories of various hues. The story 'Fuddy Duddies' by Shruthi Rao was a great read and had shades of my favourite author Roald Dahl. Vrinda Baliga's story was wonderful bringing out intensely, behind-the-scene workings of a technology/software company.Other stories had there own flavour thus made going through this collection a complete reading experience.
