The Definition of a Page-Turner!
I am still reeling from this book! I picked it up and simply could not put it down—I was up until the early hours of the morning because the pacing is absolutely relentless.
What truly sets this book apart, though, isn't just the plot; it's the profound emotional depth. I found myself completely invested in every single character. My heart broke for Nova and Bria, and I felt every high and low of their journey. I was so incredibly relieved that they had Judge Stone in their corner.
Judge Stone is a character I won't soon forget. Her unwavering heart for justice is inspiring, and she leads with a level of compassion that feels both rare and necessary.
The surprise ending was the perfect cherry on top. It made every single late-night page turn worth it. If you want a book that will keep you guessing and tug at your heartstrings simultaneously, run, don't walk, to get this one.
