Book 3 in the Capello Family series by one of my favourite gangland crime authors. This book starts where book 2 left off and again is an absolute belter of a read. I loved everything about this book, from the characters (some nice and others not so) and the brilliant storyline, As usual with Emma’s books I am hooked almost immediately and my enjoyment of this one didn’t wane for even one minute. I loved the way a character from one of her previous series was incorporated into this and it really made the book for me. A fast paced and at times nerve wracking read that I 💯 recommend to fans of this genre.

Capello Family Series Book 3

Female boss of one of London's most dangerous crime firms, Maria Capello, has to work twice as hard as any man to prove her mettle. She's used to rival gangs assuming her brother, Alex, is the strongest one n the family. But when the Capellos encounter their most deadly enemy yet, it's Maria who leads the charge and comes out fighting. When the police target another London firm, Maria knows it won't be long before they're at the door. she'll stop at nothing to keep her family and her business safe from the law. But when a sworn enemy claims to have information, she listens in horror to the shocking, the Capellos have been betrayed by one of their own, and the police are coming....

I love Emma Tallon, her books never disappoint, and gangland crime is my favourite genre. I love the Capello family and I was rooting for them all the way. Once I picked this book up, I could not put it down again. I was often on the edge of my seat. The pace is fast, the characters are well-developed, and it has enough twists to keep you invested.

I absolutely love this series, and Blood Ties is another brilliant addition. The stakes are higher than ever, with everything the Capello family has built under threat especially from Bianca, Alex’s estranged wife, who could bring it all crashing down. Alongside this, a separate issue involving a close associate adds even more tension, making this a nonstop, page turning read.
The series has delivered some great surprises, but the twist in this book is especially strong and sets up plenty to look forward to.
The Capello family remain a fantastic creation villains you love to hate, yet still care about. The development between Alex and Cat across the three books continues to shine, and Nina is a great addition to the cast.
The ending? Exactly what you want from a book like this high stakes, full of promise, and leaving you desperate for more. There’s a clear sense that the scheming, power struggles, and shifting loyalties are far from over.
Emma Tallon raises the bar higher than ever in book three, proving once again why this gangster family saga is so hard to put down.

Blood Ties by Emma Tallon is the third book in The Capello Family Series and what another excellent book this was and this is a Gangland family drama. It was a book that will just have you hooked from the very beginning till the very end, it was so addictive, full of action and fast paced. I ended up reading it till I had finished. WoW this book was another 5 ⭐️ read.

This book can be read as a Standalone However, I do recommend you read the other two books as you will get to know the Capello family and especially how
Maria Capello has to work twice as hard to get where she is today within her family and why Bianca, Alex’s estranged wife, is in hiding from her husband and his family,

But, Bianca knows too much and she could bring the whole family down! But will she survive the Capello family?

Superb read! I loved it and highly recommend it. Another 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Big Thank you to NetGalley and Bookouture for my ARC.

Book 3 in the compelling Capello series and as such although can be read as a stand alone it is better to have read the first 2

We are back with fav ( and not so fav ) characters in this Gangland family drama that is as good as have come to expect from the author

There are lies and deceit and a big game of hide and seek with Maria ( and although shouldn’t like her cant help but feel sorry for the predicaments she gets into, albeit her own doing ) big family breakfasts and a new term ‘dinnering’ which made me 🤗 also a description of a microwave meal wont forget in a long time

There is also emotion and a touch of romance brought to the story which I liked and ended the book with intrigue

If you love this authors books (18 and counting ) then you know how good they are and if you are wanting to try ‘Gangland’ give this series a go

Another brilliant gangland thriller from Emma Tallon.
With Bianca being found out as the scheming, nasty piece of work that she is, Antonio was intent on hunting her down.
However, she managed to escape and decides the only way to survive is to do a deal with the Police. The Detective in charge is beginning to become disappointed though as he realises she wasn’t as close to the criminal dealings as she said she was.
Nina is asked to join the team and her heart sinks when she sees it’s the Capellos that she’s trying to catch out, as she has past history with them.
Freddie Tyler is also in need of help as someone’s framing him for murder and he asks Alex to help him.
This is a brilliant thriller that I’d highly recommend.
Thanks to Bookouture for the opportunity to read this book.

I love and look so forward to a new Emma Tallon read but its not without its problems - being the fact I can’t put it down and I finish them far to quickly 😝. This is book 3 in The Capello Family series and it’s another good one. I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough and was just straight back in with the storyline and characters. I honestly got annoyed when I had to leave it down to do life 🫣. I also love when books overlap with previous book series and you get some of the old characters as well. I love this book series, the storylines, the characters and the family dynamics. The underworld is definitely my jam and I’m definitely questioning my life choices 🤪.

4/5 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Capello book 3. .
Bianca is on the run from Antonio Capello as he plans to kill her after she goes to the police to inform them all about the capellos dodgy dealings. It will bring them all down and that can't happen.. she was married to Alex Capello, she should have known even though Alex had let her go, the others were not so accepting!!
The hardest and most feared man in London Freddie Tyler is also in hiding, but why? and where is he?? He is being accused of murder..... did he do it or was he framed?
Lots going on in this one. This series gets better with each book 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟from me.

Bianca Capello is terrified. Antonio is searching for her, and in a move that could spell trouble for the family, she goes to the police seeking protection and is ready to reveal what she knows. Meanwhile, Maria Capello and her brother are helping Freddie Taylor, who is wanted by the police for a crime he didn’t commit. Then, someone from their past suddenly returns to London. It’s an incredible read.

If gangland crime is your favourite genre, then I can highly recommend this read in the Capello family series. The characters are well developed in this latest addition to the series, I especially like Nina, she is a bit of a dark horse. It's a book about family, power and loyalty with a fast pace, plenty of tension and a satisfying ending. Another excellent read by the author who never disappoints.

If you are looking for gritty family drama - and I mean DRAMA, with a side of romance and mob vibes, you NEED Emma Tallon in YOUR LIFE!

The Capello Family is back - a brother who wants his brother's soon to be ex wife dead. She knows too much - should she be able to walk away?
Cat and Alex have been dancing around each other for BOOKS!
And Maria takes the lead.

LOVED it!

Love this series

Loved how the massive twist came (No spoilers) I'm usually good at finding out who is who, or who a murderer is in other books! But this twist truly blew me away. Can't wait for the next one in the series. ( there has got to be!!)

I'm still relatively new to Tallon's gangland crimes with the 'Capello Family Series' being a great introduction to her works.

Blood Ties is the third book in the continuing saga featuring the family.

The story itself is gripping and gritty with the action never waning. The pacing was relentless, and the twists twisted.

A catch up with Maria was long overdue. She's such a great character and I'm invested in her all the way.

Riveting reading.

This is a gripping gangland crime thriller set in London, that I found hard to put down.

I really enjoyed the unexpected twists and turns and the fast pace.

The multiple perspectives added great depth to the characters and even though I haven’t read the first two books in this series, it worked great as a standalone read.
