Vester and his Party are ready to defeat Sargo on their own and finally start delving deeper into the Great Dungeon. With the eleventh floor beckoning, Vester returns to the Trading Post to resume work and prepare for future adventures; and that is when everything takes a turn.
Given a Quest he can't refuse by the God of Life, Vester has a wounded soul to protect and the Church of Light to avoid. His Party is more than ready to stand by his side, even against the Hero. But is Vester ready for a confrontation with a twin brother that can't remember him?
Began gaming at the age of 8 and explored a lot of different ways to play table top. When I got older, I experimented with MMOs and found a few I really liked. My first job was mowing lawns as a young teen, and I worked to use the money to pay for fantasy series like DragonLance, Dark Sun, and Forgotten Realms. As soon as I discovered LitRPG I knew I wanted to incorporate it into my writing.
Aside from taking care of my sons as a single father, writing is what I love to do most. I hope you all enjoy my work.
I enjoyed this sequel quite a bit. A new character is introduced to become a future LI, an existing character finally joins the harem, and there is plenty of developments that keep the plot hopping.
There's a lot of "MC gets a power/skill that has great potential application" right before he ends up needing it. And instead of it feeling like the author is babysitting the MC, it feels more like the MC has done the work to earn the "I can now win" skill.
I unfortunately forgot about this series as it has been a bit. I appreciate the recap in the beginning and was able to immediately get back into the story. Still absolutely love this series and hope we get a few more books out of it.
