This version is fun but the normal audiobook is already so good. I highly recommend the audiobook, and I recommend this version. Don't read the book, the audiobook adds so much!

Ok, I get why everyone says the audiobook is even better than the physical book—Jeff Hays has ruined other audiobooks for me but also the Soundbooth Theatre version is fantastic! Love the covers of songs as background music to the monsters or bosses—the danger dingos with Down Under was delightful! And the extra Easter eggs added with the commercials and bits of talk shows are super fun! Can’t get enough!

This is beyond audiobooks, beyond audio drama even! Jeff Hays deserves a prize for furthering the audiobook industry like this. The sound effects, full cast, and soundtrack bring everything to life in such a unique way.

This book has a lot of overlapping action, and it's so much easier to absorb when presented like this.

For me, it's a great way to reread the series until the next book/show comes out. Highly recommend to anyone interested in Dungeon Crawler Carl. It's undeniably engaging, even if you're not a reader or audiobook person!

Dungeon Crawler Carl is already one of my all-time favourite series, so there was never any question about the rating. I’ve read the full series and absolutely love it, but the full-cast audio drama made it even more fun. Hearing all the characters, sound effects and performances brought everything to life in a completely different way. Basically, more DCC is always a good thing. 😂

i hesitate to say "RPG Ready Play One" because its both not as bad as and not as DEEP as that. the humor is the sort that an edgy type of redditor uses to differentiate themselves from the more wholesome type. corny in a way that is nails on chalkboard to a millenial like me that my zoomer daughter really loves.
BUT its not terrible and like i said my daughter really loves it so ill check out the next one too.
