His best friend's younger brother just walked out in bunny ears and no shirt. Her husband can't look away. Good. She wants a front-row seat.
TESSA I'm an event planner. I fix disasters for a living. So when my Easter Bunny model cancels two hours before the biggest party of the season, I do what I always do—I find a solution.
I don't expect the solution to be my husband's best friend's younger brother. I don't expect him to walk out in bunny ears and tight black pants with a body nobody warned me about. And I definitely don't expect to watch my husband's hands go still at his sides while he forgets how to breathe.
I've been waiting eight years for Luke to see what I see. Now I want a front-row seat.
LUKE I'm a firefighter. I run toward danger for a living. But nothing has ever scared me like the way Noah looks standing shirtless at the Easter party. I can't make myself look away.
He's my best friend's brother. He might only be two years younger than us, but I remember him as a scrawny college kid in oversized hoodies. He’s definitely not that anymore. Then Tessa whispers kiss him and I cross the room and put my hands on his face and every lie I've told myself for thirty-two years goes quiet.
I love my wife. And I'm falling for my best friends brother who’s wearing bunny ears. And somehow those two things feel like the same thing.
NOAH I've been the temporary one my whole life. The guy people enjoy until someone better comes along. My ex said I'm too much and I wanted too much, and I believed him. I had to move home to crash on my brother's couch with an almost empty savings account and a smile that fools everyone.
Then Luke looks at me like I matter and Tessa pulls me into their world like I've always belonged there, and I stop performing and start wanting something so real it terrifies me.
I know how this goes. I'm the one who gets left. But when they both say stay, I have to decide if I'm brave enough to believe them.
A shirtless Easter Bunny costume becomes an awakening none of them see coming.
Best friend's brotherFirst-time bi awakeningEmotional vulnerabilityFilthy sweet threesome HEA
Same hot formula but refreshingly vulnerable (and funny)!
Admittedly all the Lola Rivers bi-awakening books are driven by the same underlying formula (with very hot descriptions and sexy banter)... wife knows husband is Bi but he won't admit it until the perfect opportunity arises for her to push him past his insecurities and into the arms of another man, who they share with reckless steamy abandon. They rather quickly decide, with minimal. if any, discussion, that they want this to be an ongoing throuple arrangement, becoming permanent when they all move in together at the end. Rivers usually blows past any major emotional blockages or trauma in favor of sex-positive feel-good messaging and lots of explicit threesomes. It was getting almost too formulaic for me, UNTIL THIS ONE. Same basic formula, but the FMC actually expresses fears that she may have destabilized her marriage by inviting their best friend's smoking hot younger brother into their lives (and bed, obviously). I've been WAITING for someone to have an emotional response like this... because i'm not sure how many marriages would easily survive the husband coming out as actively bi, nevermind the sudden inclusion of a third member! It's a novella, so it wasn't deeply explored, but at least there was some insecurity snd vulnerability coming from the otherwise strong and sexually-confident FMC. Rivers also finally mentions the issue of coming out as a throuple to friends and family... So refreshing! And the best part... the characters inner monologues are funny as hell! I actually highlighted some of the phrases to keep for later. One or two actually made me giggle-snort! So still formulaic, but in a more nuanced, vulnerable, and satisfyingly funny way! Highly recommend!
She opens the door to desire, and none of them come back unchanged.
Tessa is used to solving problems fast, keeping control, and reading a room before anyone else catches up. When a last-minute disaster throws Noah into her orbit, she sees her steady, devoted husband finally looking at another man the way she’s always known he could, and once that truth is in the open, none of them can pretend it isn’t real.
Luke spends years keeping part of himself quiet, and Noah does the same with the parts of him that want too much to feel safe. What starts as reckless attraction turns intimate fast, because Tessa doesn’t just want heat, she wants honesty, and neither man can stay hidden once she gives that desire room to breathe.
Wanting each other is the easy part. The harder part is what comes after, when old insecurities and the fear of being left out or left behind start pressing against every fragile new thing they’re building. What makes this story hit isn’t just the heat, it’s the tenderness under it, and the choice to trust this connection for real.
Tessa learns to ask for reassurance and trust that she’s wanted for who she is. Luke moves from repression into honesty and real emotional openness. Noah starts as the charming outsider who expects to be temporary, but being chosen by both of them makes him believe he can finally belong. Together, they shift from explosive chemistry into something steadier, softer, and deeply mutual.
An ultra-steamy holiday MMF ménage about buried desire forcing the truth into the open, where sexual identity, trust, vulnerability, and belonging collide. It’s about three people learning to stop protecting themselves with distance, choose honesty over fear, and build something emotionally real, deeply intimate, and worth the risk of being fully seen.
The Elevator Pitch: A sharp-eyed event planner, her steady firefighter husband, and the man neither of them should want find themselves pulled into a night that cracks open far more than temptation. What begins as heat turns into something riskier as buried desire, old defenses, and the need to be chosen start reshaping all three of them. It’s a high-heat story about sexual awakening, emotional honesty, and the dangerous thrill of realizing the life you want might be bigger than the one you planned.
Tessa and her husband Luke are both interested in Noah. Tessa has noticed Luke's interest in guys over the years. Now she plans on making a move on Noah. She invites Noah back to their house after an event. After confirming with Luke, Tessa asks Noah to stay the night with them. Noah admits to being interested in them both for some time. Noah is concerned about getting hurt. Tessa is concerned about being left out. Over time they learn to trust each other and their love for each other keeps growing.

Tessa has a sweet and hard-working husband Luke. He knows a guy named Noah, which is the younger brother of Luke's best friend. He is also the perfect last minute bunny replacement. He is great for helping out. However it seems that he has gained a bit more than just their appreciation for jumping in and saving the day. He has stolen Luke's full attention and has Tessa enjoying the show.
4.5…A very spicy holiday read…and I was Here for it!! Tessa and Luke have a strong relationship and are there for each other. Then they need a shirtless Easter bunny and think or a friends brother Noah. Noah is exactly what they need…in sooo many ways. He is what they didn’t know they were missing! This is a quick spicy read that I really Enjoyed!!!
