The story was really good

The hype was worth every single word in this one. The author did her thing with the love story about a couple going through a tough relationship. A cheating husband, uncouth parents, and a young lady with two people in her corner, and later there were none... that was the case until a police officer beaugarded his way into her life. You will be entrenched in the story to see what will happen when Duece's truth is revealed. This was a good story with a lot of moving parts...

Refresh my memory!

This was well written. It’s my first book where an MC was dealing with memory loss and recovery being the focal point but it was a very interesting and enjoyable read. The character development, backgrounds, and their secrets made it page turner worthy as we waited on the other shoe to drop and secrets to pour out. Sevyn the FMC was strong, resilient, funny, and feisty. Deuce the MMC was loving, gentle, patient, and protective. She had been served so many L’s and finally on the cusp of peace and letting go of what causes her pain, her world literally collides with Deuce’s. As they are finally meet they bond and grow fond of each other. They embrace each other as hidden truths and secrets unravel they both press their way through loss, fear, pain, trauma, heartbreak, and healing together. Some of those things threaten to upend their lives and relationship. They soon have to determine if remembering will destroy all their working towards or will love mend their hearts and give them a chance at real love and redemption.

God is still in control

Imagine your grandma dying and than you wake up 2 weeks later to find out your husband died the same day, but you can't remember the details? Sevyn has been through alot in her 25 years, now she is forced to recover basically alone or so she thought, until she turns around and see a beautiful man sitting in her hospital room. Naeem is a key to a lot of things for Sevyn, but what he does for her the most is to help heal her!

With grace, God, love, affirmations and daily uplifting life is looking up for Sevyn. But once again a curve ball is put out there and now Sevyn needs to be for Naeem what's he's been to her, because while she was recovering and grieving so was he from his own losses that occurred on that same day.

When they cried (I did), when they laughed (I did) and when they needed a moment (I did too).

This book is beautifully written and gives hope, love and life after grief. Just when you think life is over God is still in control. Just read the book

Whew.... the trauma these two went through and were still able to come out healed and loved!! 🥰
Experiencing such loss changes people. For Deuce, it made him kinder, softer, and love harder. I wondered if Sevyn would regain her full memory, as it had been repressed for so long. Waking up with no memories and all alone had to have been a blow, but she and Deuce connected in a way she didn't understand at first. Their story was a slow burn, with moments that they were both burdened with grief, but still found love on the other side.

Deuce and Sevyn!!

Four lives lost on the same day is the cause of Deuce and Sevyn entering each other's lives. Deuce lost his lover and unborn child while Sevyn lost her husband and grandmother as well as her memory. Deuce taking care of Sevyn while she was in a coma started out as guilt, but he was also conflicted by his feelings. Once Sevyn is released from the hospital, Sevyn has no choice but to move in with Deuce. I loved the way that Deuce and Sevyn ended up supporting each other and the deeper feelings that also developed. The love scenes were freak nasty and they couldn't keep their hands off each other. I couldn't stand Sevyn husband's family. They did her dirty, but in the end, karma caught up with each of them. Characters from previous books were incorporated into this book, and I was happy that they became Sevyn's new family. This was a very well-written book that contained deep-seated emotions, secrets, betrayal and humor. I encourage you to pick up a copy for yourself.

Do you remember?

This was an emotional story from beginning to end. To see this couple find their happily ever after after all the trauma and loss they experienced was good to see. Their paths crossed at an unlikely time and on a day they both experienced loss, but that loss seemed to give Deuce purpose and also allowed for him to show Sevyn the love she needed and deserved.

I may not fully agree with Deuce holding off on telling Sevyn the full truth about how their paths crossed, but I think it might have been necessary for them to both fall in love and for Sevyn to see that he was there for her and wanted to be there for her. This time allowed for Deuce to show he was all about Sevyn and fully committed to her and loving her.

A Second Chance At Love!!

Sevyn really wanted to be loved that's why she put up with the mistreatment and with the lies. Duece stayed by Sevyn beside and Waverleigh told him all her business thinking he was the one who rescued. Duece created the disfunction. Sevyn was right about one thing when she called Pandora a heaux because who sleeps with Ethan and turns around sleeps with his brother and neither was the father. Sevyn really been though alot with learning everything over again. Duece carried the guilt of ruining two lives. Duece and Sevyn made something beautiful out the hand they were dealt. Sevyn has found the family who loves her for her and a man doesn't treat her like an option

You Did That

My goodness that was a damn good book!!! It was such an emotional ride for Sevyn and Deuce with just the right amount of turmoil. I ate this book up!
The story flowed so well you could feel the emotion.
Just an incredible love story. And might I add that I admire how you acknowledge all aspects of the story and ensure that you dot all I’s and cross all T’s. You ensure that the characters have spoken and their stories are complete.

Do You Remember?

I will start off by saying this was not the way I pictured this story playing out. Am I satisfied? Yes! Highly satisfied! It was a good time over here. I hate what happened to Sevyn but she needed that fresh start. Deuce needed a new beginning as well! They both would’ve been on a rotation where they were never fully satisfied The shields sucked! I’m happy that Waverleigh was a great friend and Sevyn didn’t dump on her considering her life chances. I love how his family took her in! I liked this one!

An awesome read and well written love story. It was heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time. It that had me in my feeling from the beginning to the end. What a journey both Deuce and Sevyn had but, through it all they found the love they deserved. Egypt Cynae the wait was worth it. Your pen was on fire in this story!!❤️

An emotional journey

Sometimes the universe works in mysterious ways. Sevyn and Deuce’s lives changed in night. Their journey developed the way it was supposed to even through the obstacles.
I would recommend this book.
