Trent, another of Mason's Aces, faces cupid's arrow in book 3 of this great series, this story will pull at your heartstrings as Trent Swanson and his special ops buddies, Oakley, Julius and Kane face their latest task.
The team were on their way home looking forward to some relaxation when their plane was diverted and they were straight off to a new mission, a small boy and his nanny had disappeared, a small plane had sighted them in a boat heading for the boarder, but boarders didn't bother the special ops team.
Naomi was worried about the small boy that was in her care, a small boy that she had come to love, a boy who very rarely saw his parents. Naomi and six year old Ricky had been tied in the mast inhumane way to the mast of the boat, she was worried about Ricky's heath, would his weak immune system survive the cold and the sea water splashing over them?
This is Trent's story as he and his team battle to rescue Naomi and Ricky and keep them safe, as he stays to guard them in their apartment, they were the only one to have seen the kidnappers, putting their lives in danger, how he demanded answers from Bugatti, the family's lawyer, how he quietly fell in love with the beautiful ex school teacher who had given up her life to care for a lonely but very bright, little boy.
Who were Ricky's parents and where were they ? what will happen to Naomi when they return, Ricky has been her life 24/7 for three years, how will she cope without him ?
Another lovely story with likeable characters, lots of angst and a gentle romance.

Trent & Naomi

An amazing story about a boy, his nanny, and their struggle to survive the most terrifying situation you can imagine.

Mason sends his team to find and rescue a boy and his nanny from kidnappers who have tied them to the front of a boat enduring the freezing conditions of the ocean. A simple rescue for Trent and his team - or so they thought.

Trent agrees, the facts surrounding Naomi and Ricky’s kidnapping are very thin and just don’t add up. Why them? Their lifestyle is very routine and is simple on the surface, but digging into the details raises so many red flags. Naomi takes care of a very intelligent 6 year old little boy 24/7. They share a nice apartment and have a normal daily routine. Trent needs to stay and make sure they are both safe.

The situation becomes complicated when the hero falls in love with the people he’s sent to rescue and protect. Unraveling this puzzle is going to be difficult when danger is very near. So full of mystery and danger, but also love and heartwarming all at the same time. A great story and one you can’t put down.

I could and want desperately to say so much about this story, I'm not going to because it would spoil it for other readers. So, Ricky stole my heart, what a special brave and clever little boy, he deserved so much but asked for very little. Naomi, took on a job that ended up being way more than it should have been, but she cared deeply. It starts with danger and suspense, it twists and builds, you know it's not over and keep turning the pages. I didn't want to put it down, I had my fingers crossed, I was totally and utterly invested in the characters and them getting answers and the best outcome for all. Emotional and intense story from the start to the end.

I really enjoyed reading Trent . This is the third story in the Mason's Aces series . It's action packed and suspenseful. It's emotional and intense . Trent and his team are sent to rescue a woman and child held hostage on a yacht . Naomi has been Ricky's nanny for several years . She's really been more of a parent . Ricky's family are absentee parents . Naomi and Ricky are taken from a dock having no clue why they were targeted . Trent and his team start investigating to get the many questions answered . Trent and Naomi grow close as he stays close to protect them . This story is outstanding. I highly recommend taking the time to read .

What a dramatic and suspenseful story.

Trent and his team are sent on a mission to rescue a woman and child who have been spotted tied to the front of a boat. With bullets flying, they take down a drug smuggling crew, but getting Naomi and little Ricky home safely is only the beginning. Are they truly safe from the repercussions?

Naomi is Ricky’s babysitter and tutor, but she has practically been raising him and has no idea where his parents are. As Trent looks after them, they must deal with lawyers, danger, and possible enemies.

There’s plenty of drama and mystery throughout, keeping me invested in their story. I loved the way everything came together, and the ending gave the story some nice closure. Great read.

This one has a number of twists!

Naomi and Ricky are kidnapped, but even as Mason rescues them there are many things that don't make sense to Mason. And that list just grows with time and the evidence they do uncover. Nothing puts Ricky's parents in a good light, but there are many twists that have you questioning everything you thought you knew.
I completely fell for Naomi and Ricky, she is amazing, protective and very smart, Ricky is very cute, smarter than most adults and sweetly inquisitive. It's no surprise that Naomi and Ricky steal Trent's heart too, he definitely wasn't looking for love, but it finds him anyway. I listened this to on Audible, a great addition to the Mason's Aces series.

Another surprise ending which makes it all the more enjoyable. Mason's Aces are the best of the best and go where lines are blurred. Trent and his team have been tasked with rescuing Naomi and Ricky from the ocean. There is suspense, intrigue an intelligent thoughtful child and Naomi the nanny who was also a teacher. As Trent and his team start putting all the pieces together even more questions arise. This was a great mystery, family that you make and some romance. Thank you for the advance copy. Get ready. This ones full of emotions. After someone reports Ricky and his nanny Naomi missing, on a yacht in the middle of the ocean, and in distress, Mason sends Trent and his team to rescue them. The team gets there just in time to save them from imminent death. But that's only the beginning. The emotions, danger, and mystery throughout this book will keep you guessing as to who is behind all the madness to the very end. It's a fast paced, dangerous story full of suspense and even has a HEA. Just what I like in a good read. I give it four stars.

Naomi has been caring for Ricky, an adorable super smart kid, for three years. They think they are meeting his parents for a vacation when they are kidnapped. Mason sends Trent and his team to rescue them. Trent is trying to protect Ricky and Naomi without knowing anything about his family or what they are into. There are a couple of twists I didn’t see coming. This story shows that found family is as important as any other type of family.

What a twisty story in which Naomi (nanny) and Ricky, her 6 year-old charge, go from expecting to meet his parents to being taken and treated poorly. Trent is the lead on this rescue and then tasked with staying with them until it can be determined if Naomi and Ricky were targeted or if it was a case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

It takes a while but eventually they are able to piece together what is happening with several surprises as the truth unfolds.

I found this book very difficult to put down. The engaging characters with interesting backgrounds and the dialogue as well kept me reading well into the night. I'm ready to read it again.

Trent's team is sent to rescue Naomi and Ricky who is Ricky's nanny and the only person who seems to really care for him. They haven't seen or heard from his parents in quite a while. As Trent and his team try to find his parents and figure out why they were kidnapped, they keep running into dead ends. Danger, kidnapping and a twist at the end I didn't see coming.

A great next in line story. A very nice paced keep you reading. Trent moves into place with his team to save a lady and young boy who finds themselves in the middle of the ocean tied to the front of the ship. Excitement from the first pages and it keeps going. Trying to get back to normal life finds them down a rabbit hole with more questions than answers. A great story.
