6🌟 I can't even describe how excited I was for Wes and Katie's story, and it exceeded every expectation I had. I knew it would be raw, emotional, and heartbreaking at times, but wow—what an absolute masterpiece.
Before you dive in, just know this story is very different from Wrecked, and I loved them both equally for completely different reasons. And for anyone wondering, yes, this one has a HEA. 🖤
I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about Katie, but by the time I finished this story, I felt every ounce of her pain. Watching her grow and witnessing the incredible strength she discovered along the way completely changed my perspective. By the end, I had fallen in love with her. She truly earned such a special place in my heart. Bree told their story with so much beauty, depth, and emotion. I didn’t think Wes could top Nate but…. Boy was I wrong!!! The mouth on this man, good LORD! And his immediate need to protect Luna.. stop I’m going to cry just thinking about it. I really do wish I could scrub my memories away so I could reread this because I devoured it in less than 24 hours. 6 stars.

I’m definitely a Wes and Katie girl! OMG! I loved this more than Wrecked! HOW?!??
This was exactly what I needed, finished in a day, couldn’t put it down, absolutely incredible.
Katie was the star in this book for me, she was so strong but also so mature and vulnerable with Wes. Some scenes were insanely powerful and that EPILOGUE?!?! YES YES GES

When I stumbled across WRECKED last year on Threads, the marketing for it immediately drew me in. I am a sucker for an indie author but even more so for a book promoting, essentially, pure devastation. I know not a lot of people feel that way, but I truly enjoy seeing fictional caracters really earn their HEA, or in this case, no HEA but an opportunity for a fantastic plot concept. I am so glad I took a chance on that book that has since become a part of my personality. I scream about it to anyone who will listen, giving them fair spoiler free warning what they are in for, but knowing it's worth the ride.
When REVIVED was announced, I knew ..because Bree... we would have our hearts shattered all over again. Even with that knowledge, I still was not prepared. After reading this book, I have to say I am just in so awe as to the way this author's brain works, and her ability to create these characters that feel SO REAL. I understand a readers need for a HEA in a book and that not everyone can handle an emotional rollercoaster of a book that makes you feel all the things, but for me, that is my WHY in reading. I don't necessarily read to escape reality, but the ability to find relatability in a fictional world, to see yourself in these characters, it truly gives you the chance to feel what they are feeling. That is what Bree's writing is for me. After a just devastating book 1, she manages to give us even more feels with Katie and Wes, specifically Katie. Her history was just so heartwrenching and sad to watch from the outside - but when we get to BE her character, we feel her sorrows, he torment her pain. In comes Wes Westin, brother of Nate, and possibly the greatest book bf of all time. His infatuation with her began so long ago, but his instant (not too instant) need to protect her was everything. He didn't heal her, but her helped her actively heal herself, and gave her the opportunity to love herself in a way she never could before. His fierce protectiveness of her and zero hesitation to protect her was literally all anyone could want in a partner. I absolutely adore his character and know these 2 will sit with me for a long time.
The found family in this book and the reunificaion/healing across blood family was done so well. Yes its fiction, but it was a realistic pace in the path to forgiveness, and I just appreciate that so much in a book. I am so insanely grateful to have the opportunity to read this book early, and can now scream about my loyalty for it an entire 4 months early. Bree has become an auto-buy author for me ad I truly can not wait to see what we see from her next.

I was super excited to get this one because Wrecked was such a well written book. I couldn’t wait to see what happened next.
I have mixed feelings about Revived, while it was well written, there was something about the story that didn’t sit right with me. Katie was so broken and just kept getting kicked with more awful things. Wes was also broken but a strong shoulder for Katie. Their stories together were heartbreaking. I honestly didn’t love this one but it was still wrapped up well in the end. 3.5 stars

Mark my words - Bree L Mina will be a NYT Best Selling Author! I was obsessed with the first Wrecked - absolutely soul crushing. Now referring to Revived - I didn’t know how I would feel regarding Katie but reading her story is just so heartbreaking but also the strength this woman finds with Wes is incredible.

Bree…you’ve done it again! ♾️🌟 They way I highlighted the shit out of this book! You have no idea! So hard to pick just one single thing to focus on!
Let's see, Wrecked ruined my heart but Revived healed it! It was a long road but so worth it! Revived is not just another romance novel, it's a story about grief, healing, second chances and learning how to find the courage to keep going when all you want to do is give up.
I've never felt so much pain for a character as I did for Katie! That girl has been through so much in her life that there's no wonder why she feels like she's drowning. Between her childhood, mourning the loss of her fiance and then her sister only to find out that she's now the legal guardian of their 3 month old daughter Luna! There were definitely moments that my heart felt for her so much that if put in her shoes, I don't think I would be able to come out the other side.
Now let's talk about WES FREAKIN WESTIN! That man, that man, THAT MAN...completely stole my heart! They way he was with Katie... he was truly her Prince Charming! God! He was everything that you want in a boyfriend! He was patient, kind, protective and supportive to Katie. Everything that she never had growing up. But let's not forget how he was with Luna! Be still my heart the way that man stepped in without a second thought was pure swoon worthy! Didn't matter that she wasn't his, she was his in all the ways that little girl matters! Katie & Luna were his! NO MATTER WHAT!
Revived was an emotional journey that was messy, heartbreaking and incredibly real! And if you're a fan of:

There is something to be said about how Bree can write a story and pull so many emotions out of you. The way she writes just make you feel everything that these characters and going through and are feeling. It’s very important you put how you felt about Katie to the side and go into her story with an open mind. There is so much you don’t know about her and I hope you read her story and understand her so much better. I connected with Katie in so many ways. I know most of you will relate to Katie in some ways. Katie represents women who have gone through hell and still made it out alive. She is for the girls who have never been told “It wasn’t your fault.” The emotions every step of the way in this book cut deep. It is painful in the most beautiful of ways. In order to heal, you have to be willing to face the things you need to heal from no matter how hard that might be. Wes is a MAN. I love him so much. he is everything and more… I won’t lie to you but (sorry Nate) Wes is just perfect. No notes. You are the queen of tears though, Bree.

First and foremost unlike Wrecked, this one does have an HEA. And after everything we went through in book one, Katie and Wes’ story was exactly what we needed.
I’ll admit I wasn’t entirely sure how I felt about Katie after Wrecked. That changed so quickly once I got inside her story. This woman is incredibly resilient, and underneath all of those insecurities is someone so much stronger than she realizes. Watching her growth throughout this book, watching her slowly find herself, recognize her own strength, and begin to heal, was one of my favorite parts of Revived.
And Wes!!! This man was the perfect MMC for Katie. He is everything every person who has ever been made to feel like they’re “too much” or somehow “not enough” deserves to have in their life. The way he saw Katie, supported her, and loved her exactly as she was completely had my heart. Their relationship was beautiful, but what made it even better was seeing Katie’s individual journey alongside it.
Bree truly gave us such a phenomenal story with these two. ❤️
While Katie and Wes’ relationship is at the heart of Revived, the plot of The Westin Legacies continues developing in the background. And let me tell you, Bree knows exactly how to keep you hooked. 👀 Every new piece makes me more invested in this world and has me absolutely dying for book three.

this was beautiful. katie, girl, i love you so much. you’ve been through things, and i just want to give you a hug. wes, ugh i love you too, you put katie first and did everything and anything to make sure she was okay. and also put luna first as well.
there was so much going on & truly i was never bored. got to see more or emmy and ash, and more of the mom (sober) woooo!! loved seeing the side characters, getting flashbacks with ellie, love you girl.
i shed a lot of tears, so much was going on and i just don’t know what else to say besides, please read this series. it’s so good and it’s one of my favorite series. the ending… bree… i need the next book like YESTERDAY!!! and i’m sending you my therapy bills because, the whiplash i gotten.. my goodness. brb already want to re-read!

Book two in The Westin Legacies series: Wes and Katie. This is a love after heartache (for both MCs), he falls first and hard, substance abuse and mental health rep, grief/loss and healing, revenge, PTSD rep, DA and SA survivor, prior military MMC, touch her and d!e, “who hurt you”, siblings ex, MCs in their 30s, forced proximity, emotional scars and trauma, dual POV, slow burn emotional romance.
Before I talk about Revived I have to talk about Wrecked, book 1 in The Westin Legacies series, for two reasons:
1. Wrecked needs to be read first before reading Revived, to understand the complexities of the characters, their dynamics, the situation they are now in, and how the events from Wrecked changed the course of Wed and Katie’s lives
2. Because Wrecked is such an amazing book. It was my favorite read of 2025 and I think about it constantly. It emotionally devastated me and I will never stop hyping this book up.
All that being said I can go ahead and now hype up Revived. Wow. My heart. This was such an emotional read. I love to fall in the love with the characters in the books I read, but Wes and Katie are special. They are complex and they have so much depth in who they are as people and what they have gone through, both individually and together. Their love story was HARD fought for, everything was against them and from page one all I wanted was peace for them both. I was so emotionally invested in their story and it was one of my most anticipated books of the year and I did not disappoint. Bree L. Mina has such a gift of weaving the most tragically beautiful stories and I am so grateful to have been an ARC reader for this series. I 10000% recommend this book and series. Now please excuse me while I try to figure out how I am supposed to move in from this book as I wait for book 3 in the series.

ARC Review
Revived is book 2 in the Westin Legacies series. And while book 1 Wrecked literally broke my soul, I was so incredibly excited and thankful to get this ARC. I was ready for Bree to emotionally destroy me all over again. And she did! There is just something about Bree’s writing that pulls all of the emotions out of you.
Diving into this book I knew this was going to be a different kind of story and heartbreak from Wrecked. I wasn’t sure how I would feel about Katie’s story because I just love Ellie and Nate SO much. It’s safe to say I owe Katie an apology because this story broke me for a whole other reason. By the end of the book I absolutely loved Katie! Learning about all her trauma and her background just broke my heart. This girl is resilient!!! The strength Katie shown throughout this book was beyond words. I feel like Katie also healed a part of me.
Now I love Nate fiercely but his brother Wes Westin, THAT MAN! That man is top tier book husband material! His protectiveness over Katie and Luna was EVERYTHING!! The way he handled stepping up as a guardian for Luna but being exactly what Katie needed in her grief was so beautiful. The way I loved this story, these characters and all the healing that this book brought was so needed.
Another amazing book by Bree and I can’t wait for book 3!!

My oh my… another emotional book by Bree L Mina. Man, does she know how to pull at your heart strings 😭
I think this book captured grief so perfectly. We all knew that Katie would be upset but we saw so many new sides of her, good and bad. My girl was seriously put through the wringer. She battled so much throughout this book. I love Katie so bad.
And Wes, oh how I love Wes. Wes gave that morally gray aspect that I NEED while also being literal perfection. This man was YEARNING for Katie and was everything a woman would want and more. The way he read Katie so easily, was there through everything, the way he talked to her, ugh I could write a 10 page review just about that man. I love him so bad. Everyone deserves to keep falling in love with a man like Wes.
The end had my brain working overtime. The twists had me scrambling. Everything just made my heart ache for Katie even more. My girl deserves a BREAK. AND THE VERY END- 😭🤚🏽 I teared up, yes I did. My babies. I will never get over these books. Wrecked truly altered my brain chemistry. Now I need to know wtf that text message was about at the end👀 BOOK 3 NOW PLEASE 😭

Wrecked quite literally wrecked me and revived healed me.
Revived picks up exactly where wrecked ends. I am not going to lie, going through that ending again was ROUGH! Sobbed all over again. I was nervous about Katie’s story because Ellie and Nate mean so much to me and I knew she had every right to be angry with them but I didn’t want to read about there character being diminished. Luckily that was not the case, Bree did such an amazing job writing Katie’s grief and pain, you truly feel every ounce of it along side her. You cannot help but fight for this character and completely fall in love with her.
NOW Wes Weston, my man my man MY MAN! The second this man finds out about Luna he drops everything and FLYS to her protection and never stops putting this little girl first. The way he is with Katie, he truly becomes her Prince Charming and when I tell you this man is always true to what he says!
Getting more of Emmy and Ash was exactly what I needed, I love them so much 🖤

Let’s get the important thing out of the way. I love Nate, I do. But 𝗪𝗲𝘀 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝘄𝗻𝘀 𝗺𝘆 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗹. The way I love this man. I face planted right into concrete, falling for him. And trust me — you’ll fall for him 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘭𝘺. He is perfection, and Bree set us all up with the bar too high with him. And I’m actually mad that he’s not real.
Katie, oh our sweet Katie. I want those of you reading this to please go in with an open mind, and try to separate Wrecked from Revived, even though it is the catalyst to this story. Revived needs to be read in the shoes of Katie.
We see her deal with her grief, and as we know not all people experience grief the same. It’s not a one size fits all. So please remember that, and give our girl some grace as she navigates this new life she’s been thrust into.
Your heart is going to shatter into pieces for her. She’s such a strong woman, and has had to deal with so many things no human should. Her healing journey isn’t beautiful, but it’s so raw and real.
And Wes, he’s there for her every step of the way. No matter what. His devotion to her, and to Luna melted me beyond recognition. He reminds her that she is worthy, she is loved and most of all the things she’s suffered are not her fault.
Ash & Emmy, I’m so ready for more of them. But Ash & Wes’ bromance is top tier and their banter is everything.
The story as a whole, dare I say, I love it more than Wrecked 🫣. 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗬𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗞𝗡𝗢𝗪 𝗛𝗢𝗪 𝗠𝗨𝗖𝗛 𝗜 𝗟𝗢𝗩𝗘 𝗪𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗞𝗘𝗗.. Ellie and Nate will always be so important to me, but this story right here y’all. It was beautiful.

Let’s get the important thing out of the way. I love Nate, I do. But 𝗪𝗲𝘀 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝘄𝗻𝘀 𝗺𝘆 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗹. The way I love this man. I face planted right into concrete, falling for him. And trust me — you’ll fall for him 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘭𝘺. He is perfection, and Bree set us all up with the bar too high with him. And I’m actually mad that he’s not real.
Katie, oh our sweet Katie. I want those of you reading this to please go in with an open mind, and try to separate Wrecked from Revived, even though it is the catalyst to this story. Revived needs to be read in the shoes of Katie.
We see her deal with her grief, and as we know not all people experience grief the same. It’s not a one size fits all. So please remember that, and give our girl some grace as she navigates this new life she’s been thrust into.
Your heart is going to shatter into pieces for her. She’s such a strong woman, and has had to deal with so many things no human should. Her healing journey isn’t beautiful, but it’s so raw and real.
And Wes, he’s there for her every step of the way. No matter what. His devotion to her, and to Luna melted me beyond recognition. He reminds her that she is worthy, she is loved and most of all the things she’s suffered are not her fault.
Ash & Emmy, I’m so ready for more of them. But Ash & Wes’ bromance is top tier and their banter is everything.
The story as a whole, dare I say, I love it more than Wrecked 🫣. 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗬𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗞𝗡𝗢𝗪 𝗛𝗢𝗪 𝗠𝗨𝗖𝗛 𝗜 𝗟𝗢𝗩𝗘 𝗪𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗞𝗘𝗗.. Ellie and Nate will always be so important to me, but this story right here y’all. It was beautiful.

This is a continuation of Wrecked, so you absolutely need to read that one first. As with Wrecked, prepare to have tissues on hand because although there is a HEA, you are not safe from emotional damage. Honestly, I was a bit hesitant to get Katie's story, but I did not realize how much we needed to have Katie's story and how much I would love her and Wes!
There is so much depth to Katie's character and watching her navigate her emotional turmoil and face her internal struggles is absolutely devastating. I genuinely felt connected to her character. And, Wes…. well let's just say he is exactly what Katie needs and quite the opposite of his brother in many ways, and is absolute perfection, oh and he definitely falls first. He is protective, possessive, dedicated to those he loves. I thought Wes and Katie's chemistry was well done, and the author did the slow burn tension perfectly.
The plot takes so many unexpected twists, which has you on edge. Not to mention, just when I thought the tears were done Bree hits you with another twist that will devastate you. The connection to Wrecked is also well done, and there were no weird gaps, she continued the story ans added more elements to help readers get even more closure to Nate and Ellie's story. However, the author also added more depth to the Westin family story, showing how deeply they were connected to Katie and Ellie's.
Overall, I loved this book and Wes and Katie were two characters I did not expect to love as much as I did. Wrecked lives rent free in my head - I’m not kidding when I say I think about Nate and Ellie’s story at least once a week. Wrecked broke my heart in a way no other book had.
I was so excited for Revived because I HAD to know what was next after the heartbreak from Wrecked and I definitely spent the first few chapters trying not to sob.. It was heartbreaking to live in the aftermath of Ellie and Nate and relive the devastation of their story.
I was prepared to hate Kate and really couldn’t envision enjoying her story because while I felt bad for her in Wrecked, I also felt like she was very selfish. But god, talk about a redemption arc.
Her story is so tragic and comes with so much trauma.. I quickly forgot that I went in hating her because you just want to hug and protect her. Watching Kate fight her way through her trauma and find her strength was incredible.
And Wes.. That man was NOTHING like I expected. the little bit we see of Wes in wrecked had me expecting this cold, irresponsible, carefree, black sheep of a brother. I was not prepared- he was SO much more. I spent the whole book falling in love with him.
I won’t lie and say Revived put all the pieces of my Wrecked heart back together from Nate and Ellie’s story- because their memories still managed to destroy me in this one, with an added side of some fresh new heartbreak courtesy of Kate and Wes.
But I will say that the way Bree brings everyone who loved Nate and Ellie together and takes us on this journey of them becoming a family, while healing and still navigating the mess Nathaniel left behind, is healing parts of me that are still mourning.
Bree does such an amazing job of fully immersing you in these books.. You don’t just read what the characters are feeling- you feel it with them. And god, it hurts.
You’re on an emotional roller coaster from beginning to end, and it is one hell of a ride and I cannot wait for Emmy’s story!

Revived was everything I needed to heal from the devastation that was brought upon me in Wrecked. It healed me in so many ways, and as I read it I felt like I was going through the journey to heal alongside Katie. The story was emotional, gut wrenching, raw and relatable - it captured the grief aspect so thoroughly, I was a sobbing mess at one point. Needless to say, I am a Wes and Katie girly all the way!
The story centers around Katie and Wes going through the aftermath of the events that occurred in Wrecked. Katie finds out that Ellie took her life and left a 3 month old baby behind, and is now the legal guardian. After receiving a phone call from social services, Wes travels back home to meet his new niece and help Katie in whatever way he can. Together, they go through a messy journey of grief, healing, and uncover further secrets from the former Westin patriarch.
Katie is the definition of strong. I always knew there was more to her, and after diving into her backstory and everything she went through you understand why she was so closed off. She went through soo much early on in life and kept everything bottled up, the final straw was Nate and Ellie's death. You see her spiral, and go through a really dark time but with Wes at her side she pushes through and her character develops into one of the best and most relatable FMC's ever.
Wes is perfection, periodt! I swear, the way that man had me swooning you'd think he was real which I'm a little upset that he's not. This man was not only protective, but also patient and kind with our girl. Did I mention he's morally grey? Like seriously, he's the whole package. He was truly Katie's Prince Charming, and every time he called her Snow had my heart pitter-pattering. The way he stepped up to the plate to take care of Luna AND Katie, no questions asked, completely stole my heart.
Everyone deals with grief in their own way, please be patient with Katie. The outcome is worth it.
I am sooo ready for book 3! I need it NOW, that cliffhanger had my heart damn near jumping out of my throat. I seriously can't wait to dive into it and learn more about Ash and Emmy.

Wrecked (Book 1) in this series was my most favorite book of last year, and I read A LOT of books last year, but Wrecked was truly an emotional experience from beginning to end. I cried like I haven’t cried at a book in years and needed a book break for a few days. Ellie and Nate were everything in this book. I adored them and still carry them as a couple that loved with everything they had, even passing forever.
I can’t say I was a huge fan of Katie in Wrecked, Ellie’s sister who was engaged to Nate (just read Wrecked, it will explain itself), but what Revived does is throw so much light on why Katie always deserved the once in a lifetime kind of love, just with a different man. Enter Wes, Nate’s brother. I can’t say the circumstances of how Wes and Katie come to meet for the second time as it truly would spoil too much of the storyline from both books, but the situation is tough and Katie struggles to maintain a grasp on her life. Turning to alcohol like her mother to block out the demons of her childhood and her new responsibilities she never asked for, living with a guilt she has held on to since she was 18, has been a downward spiral and then to find out the man she was going to marry was in love with her sister…the walls are closing in.
Then Wes shows up. Still carrying a piece of Nate with her, even though he was never truly hers, Katie tries to find a new path, but to find a new path, your past has to be dealt with and your secrets have to be uncovered…no matter the cost.
While I didn’t cry my soul out like I did at Wrecked, Revived is just like its title, breathing new life into a broken soul, reviving a person to the possibility of a new life and the happy ever after that Katie truly deserves.
Highly recommend.

Bree, the way this healed me from Wrecked, I didn’t think it possible but it really truely did. Now to start off this is incredibly different from Wrecked but equally as emotional and traumatic.
Wrecked was this all consuming type of loss and devastation that was strong and to see the other side of it and the impacts all the events had on people was incredible to read. There was a moment there I thought Bree was going to pull a Wrecked on us but I was saved (kinda, still traumatised tbh)
Katies journey and story is probably really healing for so many. Reading something deeply traumatic and being able to relate, probably means so much to so many. I can see why people get frustrated with Katie but when you look at her story as whole and the process of grief and trauma she has had to work through to be where she is, well what an absolute incredible woman she is.
Wes well he was almost the perfect MMC for me until he ordered that damn fish filet, because that’s a crime. He was kind, attentive but strong and supportive to Katie. He was truely everything she needed and didn’t know. Katie equally helped Wes move on from a lot of grief and trauma as well.
There is certainly romance in these books, its not even the point of them, its about human experience, emotions, trauma and how you can move on but its takes a whole lot of work and support. The found family in this is so true to the trope and everything you would hope for, for people going through something so awful.

What a fantastic job Bree did with Katie and Wes's story. I loved Wrecked (you need to read first) and you never know if an author will be able to top a book you loved so much. Well Bree did!!!
Their story is a love, like no other. I loved how patient Wes was with Katie and ready to protect and give her everything to help her heal and come to terms with her past trauma, current struggles and taking care of Baby Luna. His immediate love for Luna was beautiful. This story was so well done. I fell in love with Wes immediately and I just wanted to hug Katie, her story, her trauma will break your heart. Fate definitely played a part in how they found each other and I loved that!
Katie is left grieving, confused, still dealing with her trauma and finds she now has custody of Nate and Ellie's baby, Luna. As she struggles, Wes is called and when he finds out Nate has a baby and Ellie wanted him and Katie to have custody he immediately flies back home. So much healing in this book with all the characters.
No spoilers, you need to read this book. There is some suspense and mystery towards the end as well, which sets up book 3 - yes you will want more and I can't wait.
This was a 6 star read for me and my favorite of the year.

I feel for katie so much.. because I lived her childhood and it broke me and healed me reading this story. I love these two so damn much! they are everything and more. this exceeded every single expectation I had. I knew there was more to katie when I read, wrecked. and she is such a strong and powerful person. I can’t not love her and I will always hold her in my heart. this was just everything.. everything I needed after the tragedy of reading the first book. I fell in love with bree’s writing when I read the first westin legacy book. and this one made it confirmed that it won’t matter what this author writes. Well let me say that this book had me feel all sorts of feelings.
Revived picks up right where Wrecked left off. Wrecked destroyed me. And I loved it. This series is giving soap opera and I’m not mad at it.
Yes, there were times this book was giving me too much to reflect on. Book 1 had a lot going on, book 2 even more so. But I pushed through and in the end I did like the book.
It was hard for me to connect with Katie, the main character. I’m a loyal person in real life through through and I just loved Nathan and Ellie I couldn’t feel more for Katie. Don’t get me wrong I was pissed and hurt for her and all the things she’s been through but when it came to her feelings about Nathan and Ellie, I was like “hey now, watch your mouth.” Lol
I do love Wes’s protectiveness but sometimes I felt it was a little much. Again, I think my feelings were just biased since he was speaking ill of Nathan and Ellie. Haha.
I’d probably say my favorite character is Ash. His character was also protective but he was also lighthearted and the comic relief.
Book 1 was still my favorite. Nathan and Ellie forever. And it’s safe to say with the cliffhanger we were left with, I definitely can’t wait for Emmy and Ash to take center stage.

Katie, ugh my heart just goes out to her. The trauma, damage and absolute heartache she has endured her entire life is unexplainable. The endless abuse and torture katie experiences is more than any person deserves, it absolutely broke me. I also did really enjoy that we got to experience Katies anger and betrayal from everything that happened in Wrecked. You get a real good view at what its like to experience grief and all the aspects grief makes you feel. Katie is going through it and it was utter hell to read how deep in it she was. Butttt this book does have a HEA so be ready to see Katie get everything she deserves.
Wes Westin, you are a man's man and I am HEREEEE for it 😍 seriously this man is beyond perfect and everything we needed all needed to heal! Wes has some pretty serious trauma as well from his past but the man is set on revenge. Katie is Wes's forever and let me tell you they are perfect. Wes is patient, kind and so full of love for Katie. He is such a dream.

I was very excited to dive back into the Westin family’s story and we start where we left off in book 1.
Katie’s sister, Ellie has decided to join Nate leaving Katie with her baby and full custody. A baby that is a constant reminder of her sister’s betrayal…
Bree takes the reader on a journey of Katie’s past, we learn why she is the way she is. You will love her, you will want to slap her and you will want to hug her. Sometimes all at once!
The Westin family has so many lies and secrets, and Wes has been digging into his father’s past trying to uncover the murder of his love, Anna. He is also looking into a missing person that was associated with his father.
I found myself routing for Katie and her slow journey of healing and forgiveness. Readers will fall in love with Wes, he is a top tier MMC. (touch her and die done so well)
This was the perfect follow up to Wrecked, and I it gave me the closure I was searching for after reading book 1.
I cannot believe the ending of book 2, I didn’t realize there was going to be a book 3!! What?!
Read this book as soon as you can but make sure that you check your triggers before reading this one!
