The rebellion against the Flock rages!

The first team of Sleepers has awakened, each with shocking and destructive new powers. War is coming and the whole galaxy will burn.

As Flock warships search the galaxy for the stolen super-warship, Juggernaut, the battered crew seek for a haven to rest and repair their craft. Historian Lexie Chang and enhanced Tier One soldier Jason Horse are in a desperate race to preserve their secret weapon.

But the whole galaxy is torn apart by waves of brutal nightmares that push many into madness and violence. Worlds burn! The Flock high command fears that more Sleepers are awakening with devastating new abilities. The twisted Flock agent, Lord Hell, is close to cracking the science to turn the alien invaders into super-powered monsters. His ally is a rogue Sleeper who wants to tear apart the minds of human and alien alike.

In the darkness of space, new and even more terrible forces are rising. A race of beings older than the known universe are racing through the void toward Earth. And on some forgotten world, another group of Sleepers are evolving into something like gods, and their wrath could tear the galaxy apart.

The crew of Juggernaut faces incredible dangers at every turn, and even with new allies rising to join their fight, they know that this is war that may be unwinnable. Yet if they lose, humanity falls with them.

After the Flock Uprising killing millions Lexie Chang has awakened one team of HE Sleepers who now have shocking and destructive new powers. They have managed to steal the Flock's super-warship Juggernaut but it was heavily damaged so they need to find somewhere to get repairs done and get some needed downtime. The whole galaxy is being torn apart by waves by brutal nightmares that push both humans and Flock into madness and violence as worlds burn. Meanwhile a twisted Flock agent Lord Hell and a rogue Sleeper Olivia Leonard team up to tear the galaxy apart. Can Lexie, Jason and the others find some new allies to join their fight to survive or is it all lost? Another epic tale by Maberry that I highly recommend, I loved it.

Jonathan Maberry is an exceptional author as he once again produces another brilliant piece of work that baffles and excites in equal measure
He baffles me with how consistently good his books are, most authors with a large volume of work have obvious dips in quality, even Stephen King has written books that for him have been poor but Jonathan Maberry for me hasn't written anything that has fallen short of his own very high standards and yes I have read a lot of his work, not all of it but a lot.
The excitement comes from how he weaves all the threads together across series they are subtle but they are there.
Top Notch as always

EXCELLENT!!! One of his best ever. Jonathan Maberry The second in a trilogy that throws the rules out.
Reading all of the previous books in this reality (Joe Ledger) and bringing some of the charters into the future was mind bending.
If your familiar with these I highly recommend the Sleepers War.

Non-stop

Highly enjoyed this 2nd novel of this story. Such a pleasant surprise to find some places and people that I recognized from other works from this author. One in particular simply hasn't changed a bit. It took some time between installments of this story, which I believe was explained by the author, so I did reread the first novel before starting this one. Five stars and I highly recommend this one as it lived up to expectations.

To cut corners the author dragged the book into his Joe ledger universe. This book was a major upgrade to the last one. Still has quotes that don’t belong in a sci fi book. Characters still reflect on 20 th century culture too much. Far more readable and I look forward to part 3

The first book was excellent foray into SciFi. This book is another trip down Maberry’s favorite lane - monsters.
