The story is about 3 people, Devlin who buys the violin from the lost/found area at the airport where he works, Walter his old teacher and Gabrielle an appraiser. And the story is also about the violin itself. There is some going back and forth with the timeline. It can be confusing at times but for the most part I was able to follow along. The story line is good until the end for me. The characters are likeable. The plot is interesting. An enjoyable read.
A charming and entertaining read that stayed interesting throughout. It has that feel-good quality where everything comes together in the end, and I really liked the violin maker storyline woven through it. I’ve been reading some heavier books lately, so this was the perfect light, enjoyable read in between.
Many characters throughout the story and back and forth between different time periods made the story a bit difficult to follow. A bag handler bought a lost and found item for a girl he loved, but life had other plans for him and the violin he bought, could cause major problems for him in the future
