Rogue Devotions #2
A Rogue's Ruin
Not yet published
Expected 12 Nov 26In the ruins of Thrallkeld, love is a weakness—and a weapon.
When Wynnie, Alys’s mother and Griff and Mal’s childhood guardian, vanishes into the haunted city of Thrallkeld on an errand of revenge, her wife Vic feels the agonizing moment of her death. Still, she refuses to believe it until she sees it, and she sets out to bring Wynnie home. With her is Alys, possessed by something and unraveling; Griff, aching for a commitment he isn’t sure his boyfriend will ever give; Mal, who wraps Griff in armor as he fears that Thrallkeld will once again cut out the very heart of him; and Liam, still nursing old wounds but determined to save the woman who’s become like a mother to him, too. Each hurried step south leaves them all wondering whether this will be a rescue mission, or simply a recovery.
Thrallkeld is no ordinary ruin, and it’s more than the place where a young Mal once met his match in a ruthless crime lord. It belongs to the Shadow Queen, a powerful entity who feeds on death and misery. And there’s plenty of that in the air as the party splinters, with Griff and Mal seeking the help of a witch in a nearby swamp while the others scour the city itself for Wynnie. Amid the crumbling stones and waterlogged tunnels, the ghosts are the least of their problems as they’re plagued by old flames, new desires, and enemies with ledgers of debts longer than Mal’s list of misdeeds.
Yet romance blooms in the unlikeliest places—between spells and scars, on stage for all to see, and in the quiet moments before everything falls apart. But some hearts are already spoken for. And some may never return. Because in Thrallkeld, the ghosts aren’t the only ones with unfinished business.
Don't miss the sequel to OUR ROGUE FATES.

You have possession by a vengeful ghosts, mushrooms with teeth, a very cute dog named Badger and enough noise to disturb the bats 😂The sequel to ORF and Sarah took us on a wild adventure in this one. This MM/FF story is a celebration of love between established couples and new couples. It’s very warm and heartfelt. I just love how Sarah writes her characters introducing them with a backstory that leaves nothing unsaid making you fall in love with them from the very beginning like you’ve known them a long time.
This is so beautifully written as we are taken on an adventure with Alys, Griff & Mal like book 1. But this time we also have Liam, Griff’s ex and also Vic who is like a mother to the trio. Wynnie, a mother, guardian, mentor and lover has gone missing, or worse, feared dead. The group must come together and set off on this adventurous trip to find her or at least figure out what happened to her. The banter between Mal & Liam had me giggling and wondering how these two would survive on this adventure without killing each other 😂but it turned out to be a very benefiting alliance.
Liam feeling heartbroken gets to fine love with the beautiful freckled face puppeteer Cael. I love his energy and spirit and how openhearted he was to Liam seeing him for who he was. They hit it off right away and you could feel their chemistry as the story went on. I want more of them🥹
Mal and griff so in love and can’t keep their hands off each other is adorable 🥰 “The 🦇, think of the 🦇” had me laughing so hard, those two just lost in each other in their own world. Mal feeling like he has the weight of the world on his shoulders, has to right so many wrongs while wanting to give his partner everything he knows/thinks Griff wants in life.
Alys is finding love in the most unexpected places and learning to accept what makes her “soul sing, regardless of what others might think or say” made me cry for her. I felt like she had gone through a lot in book one and in this book. But I was happy for how her story turned out by the end although it’s still left me once more of her and Riya’s story.
As always, you can expect very detailed and beautiful world building. I felt like every scene was playing out as I read along and could visualize the characters and the environment. Definitely will be looking out for creepy mushroom like creatures with teeth on my next walk in the woods, that visual is stuck in my head 😂 I also love that the book contains art with detailed scenes and characters at the end of each chapter, and because it’s such detailed writing, when you finally see the beautiful art of the characters, it just elevates the story even more and makes you want to read that chapter again. I may or may not have gone back a few times or looked ahead at pictures before reading a chapter 😆😜
I can’t wait to read the next book and see what Sarah has in store for these characters. There’s definitely a lot more about to happen in the next book with how this one ends.

Thank you to Sarah Glenn Marsh and the Rogue's Ruin street team for the eARC! After some gentle requesting (I was grovelling), I was lucky enough to join the street team and get early access to this one 😌
One-line review: Came for Liam’s emotional reparations. Stayed to acquire several new people to worry about. (5 relatively satisfied stars)
If you recall my review of the first book, I was out there worrying about Liam like a mother watching her son nurse a broken heart over a love that wasn't bad, it just wasn't meant to be his.
Did we get Liam what he deserves? Absolutely.
Did we get more of Alys on her self-discovery journey? Yup.
Have I now started aching for entirely different characters? ...Possibly.
The first book and Rogue's Ruin are actually very different beasts, and I really enjoyed that. The first was fast-paced and high-stakes: gather the crew, hunt the treasure, try not to die, get back home. This sequel is quieter and deeper. Rather than trying to recreate the same adventure, it digs further into the world, the characters, and all the emotional debris everyone dragged home with them.
Basically: What's in my bag? but the bag is the emotional baggage everyone has been carrying around.
After Mal asks Winnie to kill Renaud, a thief king who nearly killed Mal in the past and has now killed one of his friends in the present, Winnie goes off-track and disappears. The gang has to wade into Mal's past to find her, which, as you can imagine, contains absolutely nothing concerning whatsoever.
Meanwhile, Alys is haunted by her shame and...other things 👀, and we get to learn much more about Vic and Rhun along the way.
And because "quieter and more character-focused" apparently does not mean we have to behave normally, this book also gives us:
• Creepy mushrooms with eyes and teeth, which my brain has inexplicably decided are cute little feral mushroom balls.
• An innocent witch who has never heard of cinnamon rolls.
• Spiders filing noise complaints.
• People who are either visiting the moon or extremely high on drugs.
• Puppet shows AND an entirely unrelated creepy protector puppet.
• An increasingly long song chronicling everything Mal hates.
• The unexpected friendship of the Blonde Association™.
So. You know. Normal fantasy activities.
Something I particularly appreciated is that the book doesn't quietly sweep away the physical consequences of the first story. Griff is still using a cane. He still limps and has reduced sensation in his shoulder. Mal has lost some of his hearing. These injuries aren't magically fixed between adventures because the plot has moved on. Their bodies remember what happened to them, and they have to navigate the world accordingly.
It's a relatively small detail, but it makes the consequences of the first book feel real and gives the danger in this one considerably more weight. Things that happen to these characters actually stay happened.
And while this is a quieter book, do not mistake quieter for uneventful.
Because then we get to that ending.
The closest comparison I can give is the ending of Marvel's Infinity War. You finish it, stare into the middle distance for a moment, and then immediately enter frantic-speculation-boardroom mode.
There are theories. There are questions. There may be diagrams.
Sarah, I would like answers.
A tiny special-edition tangent because I have INFORMATION:
The Everheart edition of the first book has absolutely gorgeous overlays. I know this because I am God's favourite and was allowed to have a look as part of the street team 😌. Rogue's Ruin also has artwork throughout, and the chapter titles have tiny illustrated details representing the POV character, which I adore 😭.
I also have it on good authority that both Everheart and Rainbow Crate will be continuing the series.
Re: God's favourite point above.
Anyway.
Please read books one AND two.
I desperately need more people to suffer alongside me because I have things to discuss, theories to yell about, and currently an insufficient number of victims to yap at.

ARC review 4.75/5 ⭐
Sarah, thank you so much for the eARC! I'm forever in your gratitude!
This will be a ramble of my thoughts, I am so sorry 😅 As far as a sequel goes there's always a pressure to live up to the first book, and A Rogue's Ruin delivers!
A Rogue's Ruin was my first real experience with the trope insta love (I don't get it). But Sarah does it well, there's obvious instant attraction and interest without it feeling overbearing or forced; bonus a looming "nothing can come of this" due to plot reasons, but also the dream and hope of maybe it will. Because both Liam and Alys deserve to be happy and fulfilled, however that shapes itself. So even if, yes, the huge trope is insta love that trope has the chemistry for it! It's not just there for the sake of being there.
On a side-note along the insta love, I'll say A Rogue's Ruin is (to me) way spicier and I was caught off-guard by that (pleasantly). I will always feel for t he bats, poor poor bats.
One of my favourite parts of the book is Mal and Liam becoming friends, sort of, it's a wip and they're both doing their best. Them becoming friends is not something I would've thought possible after Our Rogue Fates, but the way Sarah builds it up makes it make perfect sense. The start of it being the fight club is a genius idea! Nothing bring "enemies" together to become friends like a fight club. Speaking of Mal, his eternal worry for Griff's safety is palpable BUT Griff is no longer the human punching bag in this sequel!
As advertised, Alys has a bigger part in this sequel and she is to me the biggest heartbreak. Not only because of the regret she carries, but also the loss of self and I'm not even talking about the possession here! Who is Alys on her own? Outside of a mother, a warrior's daughter, a hero's child? Alys isn't only looking for her missing mother but also looking for her true self. She beings a great journey of self discovery and I can't wait to see where she will find herself further along the story.
Another part of in A Rogue's Ruin I can't get over is the new info into Vic and Wynnie's story. It was fantastic. It gave so much more insight to the family constellation! My heart goes out to Vic, hearing how she has been by Wynnie's side through it all and to have to be not chosen just... Wow. It hurts. She deserves so much more than she has been handed. To me Vic feels like such warmth.
Second side-note: I am very let's say fascinated with Garrick. Can't, won't explain why. I really want to see just where his allegiances lie.
If you've made it through my feelings and vibes only review, I do hope you'll pick up this series! I am personally enamoured! So much that I even branch out in tropes I don't usually read. Sarah's writing is just that moving (I cried, no surprise there!) and the way she has you by the word to keep you reading is amazing.
Lastly, fair warning!
A certain chapter towards the end had me going through the stages of grief, and then I went through them in reversal. THANKS 🙃

A Rogue's Ruin was, unfortunately, a weaker installment than its predecessor; while the premise was intriguing, the execution fell a bit flat.
The reader's enjoyment will entirely depend on what they would prioritize when going into this. If you're more into characters and specifically romance, you'll enjoy it a lot more than if you're in for the plot. The characters were probably the strongest part of the book, and I appreciated how disability, substance abuse, and depression/PTSD were under the spotlight, as that is something so rarely seen in fantasy or romantasy. Alys and Liam were the two new POV characters, and while I enjoyed them both, especially Alys, I felt like more could have been done with the characters to have a heavier presence in the story.
While the first installment was, of course, a romantasy as well, the plot had more of a priority than it did here. I was waiting for the story to accelerate and get down into the action, but as soon as it finally did, the book ended. I'm also not sure if I would quite call this a slowburn type story either because the plot is not heavily developed.
The romantic elements were stronger than the story ones, but it also felt that the first book did a better job at it. While the two new love interests for the two new POV characters were fun and intriguing characters, the romance felt quite insta-love and lacked some depth as a consequence. While Riya was the stronger of the two love interests as far as characterization goes, there was still a lot to be desired to learn about her (and Cael) to become fully invested in her character and the relationships. Of the three main relationships, I found the already established one to be the most enjoyable to follow, but perhaps that's because they received the most development of the three due to the first book.
Overall, the sequel was unfortunately not as good as the first, but it's still worth continuing with the series once the third installment is published.

I have to say, first of all, for a book that deals in some overall pretty heavy stuff, this story was was fun to read! Wynnie has gone missing on a revenge mission to Thrallkeld and so a group consisting of Vic, Mal, Griff, Alys and Liam are off to discover what happened to her.
You would think having 4 different POVs might get messy but Sarah has a magical way of interweaving everyone's stories to fit together nicely. I will say they have a diabolical knack for ending a chapter on a cliffhanger and then changing POVs.
I was thrilled to get more depth on Alys. She's really going through it with her mother missing, being possessed by a ghost and her guilt about what happened in the last book. She finds love in an unlikely place and learns a little something about herself in the process and I love that for her!
Liam is such a cinnamon roll, I totally identify with his soft spot for animals. His budding relationship with Cael was both adorable and horny. After all his heartbreak Liam deserves a little true love. I fear that Thrallkeld may not be one with Cael though.
Oh Mal and Griff. So often your two main characters don't get together till the end and you never get to see all the stuff that happens after. I really enjoyed that we get to see these two together and disgustingly in love. The way they communicate with each other is such goals. I am also extremely appreciative that multiple characters have injuries that occurred previously that are not just overlooked. You can still be hot and badass even if you have a disability.
We defiantly got some answers in this book and then we got a ton more questions. I don't want to spoil anything but I have some guesses as to what that is that Liam Cael found. I'm so glad we have more books to come!
I love a fantasy ensemble cast and this story has a wealth of interesting locations and characters. And the ARC edition I had, had the most beautiful drawings included! If you aren't reading this series you're missing out!
Thank you Sarah Glenn Marsh for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I loved Our Rogue Fate's and was so excited to start his one! It does not disappoint! This book was a bit quieter. More character driven than plot driven. I loved it! We get to see more of the world and spend time with the characters.
We get four POVs this time. Mal, Griff, Liam and Alys. I loved each and every one of them. Griff and Mal are continuing to build their relationship. Liam is dealing with how it feels to see Mal and Griff together and in love. Alys is really struggling in this one. One of her mother's is missing. She's dealing with being haunted on top of the guilt she's feeling for what happened in the mire while also confronting new feelings for a woman. Both her and Liam confront some truths on this journey. They both have some help along the way in the form of a new, possibly forever, person!
I enjoyed that we got to see more of the world. Another swamp. Another city. It's a small thing, but I like that we're still seeing the physical consequences of what happened in the first book. Griff is occasionally using a cane - his ankle and shoulder still bother him. Mal never regained all of his hearing and his side still aches. At the very end of book one Mal knocks out one of Liam's teeth and stabs him in the knee - both still causing issues in this book.
I had such a good time reading this! The characters are the heart of this story. I loved seeing their journey. There's a great balance of humor, emotion and action. Everyone is going through it but they're learning and growing. My heart goes out to all of them, especially Vic in this one.
I can't wait for the next one! This one does end on a cliffhanger. I suspected it might but I still wasn't prepared for it to end. Thank you to the author for an early eARC!

I loved Our Rouge Fates, but I think I may love A Rogue’s Ruin just a tiny bit more, which is something I rarely say about a sequel. But if reading ORF feels like a big gay hug then ARR feels like a big gay cuddle pile!
Mal and Griff are back and even more in love than ever, which is literally torturing poor Liam. The heartbreak has you really feeling for him and luckily Alys is there to help talk him off the ledge and straighten himself out enough to somehow join in on the quest to find and rescue Winnie from what Vic sensed as near death.
But my book girlfriend Alys, she is going through it! Possessed/Haunted, Searching for her missing (maybe dead?) mom, and on top of it finds herself questioning whether it’s her or the ghost that sometimes inhabits her body that has an insanely strong attraction to women. Trust Liam Alys, it’s not the ghost you’re just queer.
From witches cottages, biting mushrooms, a below deck exploration that had me white knuckling my kindle and lots and lots and lots of sexy time for pretty much all the rogues this book was unputdownable.
Though I will caution that the ending is just a tiny bit of a cliffhanger. And by tiny I mean Mt. Everest level cliff. I immediately started screaming and demanding book three. I hope this series continues for 100 books, because I just want to disappear and live in this world, even though it’s a bit dangerous. It’s definitely worth it!
Thank you to the author, Sarah Glenn Marsh, for an early e-ARC of A Rouge’s Ruin. All thoughts on this masterpiece are my own honest opinion.

A Rogue’s Ruin
Rogue Devotions #2
by Sarah Glenn Marsh
Thank you so much to Sarah Glenn Marsh for providing me with an ARC copy in exchange for my honest review. 💙
✨ Some hearts are bound by devotion… others are tested by the choices they make. ✨
A Rogue’s Ruin pulled me back into a world filled with magic, danger, and emotional stakes that kept me completely invested from beginning to end.
Sarah Glenn Marsh continues to create a captivating story filled with rich atmosphere, complex characters, and a world that feels both enchanting and unpredictable. I loved the way this book explores loyalty, trust, and the difficult choices that come when duty and desire collide.
The characters continue to be the heart of this story, and I enjoyed seeing their journeys develop as they faced new challenges and uncovered more about themselves and the world around them. There is a wonderful balance of action, emotion, and deeper character moments that made this such an engaging read.
One of my favorite things about this series is the feeling that every decision carries weight. The tension, the secrets, and the emotional connections make it easy to become invested in the characters and their fate.
A Rogue’s Ruin is a beautifully crafted fantasy that delivers magic, adventure, and a story full of heart. I’m excited to see where this journey goes next! ✨

After finishing Our Rogue Fates I couldn't *wait* to jump into A Rogues Ruin! I was a smidge worried about the multiple POV'S (4) But whew, lemme tell ya Sarah managed to weave all these together so fluidly, as each party and their separate objectives led to the final outcome they were all working towards (for the most part;))! This was probably one of my fastest Beta reads (following Book 3! (RTC later.)) Wynnie, Vic and Tansy easily became my favorite characters of these series, and I think this book was the reasoning! I relate to Wynnie so much and I'm not even sure why! *Must be the Leo in us*. Also, for everyone who’s needing their #JusticeForLiam? He gets what just so happens to be his happy ending during this, and him and Cael are so goofy, and really are just living their best lives being wholly themselves! And Alys! Ohhh Alys, it's finally time you get your happy ending too! And well, it's definitely in the cards for her, and it's deserved!
We also finally get some more page time with a few of Griffs old friends, Rosemaris, Briar, and Laurel! And even Tansy!! (My lil witch!! (and a few new faces!) Also, umm "THE BAAAATS!!"
I don't want to spoil too much, but the Rogues have quite the journey and adventure this time around and I can't wait for everyone to read it as well!
Even knowing, ya know.. that cliffhanger!!

In Sarah’s trademark atmospheric prose, A Rogue’s Ruin, the second installment in the Rogue Devotions series, is a swoony, horny, and exhilarating adventure that kept me hooked until the very end.
Unsurprisingly, the romance takes center stage. Sarah has such a beautiful way of writing love as something effortless and instinctive, as though falling in love is simply the most natural thing in the world. Liam and Cael’s love story was incredibly sweet, and I especially loved watching Liam finally receive the love story he deserved.
Sarah’s writing shines even brighter now that we’re returning to a world we already know and love. The characters have begun to feel less like a cast and more like an extended family, making it all the more exciting to explore new corners of their world while meeting the wonderfully chaotic people who inhabit it. And, naturally, some of them are just as unhinged as the author herself.
There is something incredibly special about this little corner of the literary world, and I was so happy to find my way back to it. Now I’m left eagerly awaiting the next installment, and whatever delightful, chaotic cast of characters Sarah has waiting for us next.

So much f**king and almost zero finding out!
In my opinion, A Rogue's Ruin is the true rainbow bridge. Everyone is queer sexing their way from book one to book three, and I was there for the shenanigans. What a spicy, fun way to introduce new characters!
That's not all the book is about, though. It's about a group of people working to be better friends and partners. They're learning, growing, and dealing with their mistakes (occasionally even accomplishing a goal!). If they happen to be hilarious along the way, that's just a bonus.
Thanks to Sarah for writing an ensemble that forces us to confront our own flaws and lean into some self-care. I can always count on a few "Eureka!" moments in every book.
* As much as I love this book, I withheld a star only because it feels to me like a transition/introduction to the next installment. I in no way love these characters or the writing less.

yall know that Our Rogue Fates is my favorite book ever and LET ME TELL YOU this second installment is AMAZING!! we get to meet so many new characters and revisit with old ones, and that is part of what makes this book so amazing. we’re also seeing some of the consequences of the first book, and this book sets up the next one so well!!
we also get to see so much growth with the characters in this story. it is definitely more character heavy than plot heavy, but that is something I absolutely adore!! we get to see both Liam and Alys grow as people and also watch them find their (possibly forever 👀) person, which is so beautiful to see. we also get to see more of Griff & Mal, and how their relationship is slowing building to the next level. I love each of these characters so much and being able to see more of them as they continue their journeys is probably my favorite thing about this book!!

A Rogue’s Ruin was honestly a bit underwhelming compared to the first book. The concept was interesting, but the execution just didn’t quite hit the mark.
The characters were definitely the highlight, especially Alys, and I liked seeing topics like disability, substance abuse, and PTSD/depression explored in a fantasy setting. Still, I wish the characters had been given more depth and a bigger role in the overall story.
The romance was more of a focus than the plot, but some of the relationships felt a little too insta-love for me. I also found the established couple more enjoyable since their relationship had already been developed in the first book.
Overall, it was an okay sequel, just not one that really stood out. I’ll probably keep going with the series when the third book comes out.

This installment was all about a mystery of the missing mother figure.
It picks up right where book one left off and is once again another adventure with the most incompetent group of adventurers ever.
Mal and Griff can’t stop pining over each other
Alys is now possessed and really annoyed and inconvenienced by it.
Liam joined the team now and is just looking for Wynnie because he feels obligated to despite having to deal with Mal and Griff.
Vic is along this time as well to find her wife.
They go to the big city and just bumble about until they find information they need completely by accident and find people to kiss as well, for Alys and Liam at least.
The only gripe I have is that the story just ends. For me, there seemed to be no resolution to anything but maybe that’s by design and I’ll see in book three.
All in all it was a fun adventure with these band of misfits!

I loved seeing the crew again!!!
Off in another adventure I feel like I never know what I’m going to get with this team. My heart really went out to Alys in this one. She’s just so lost and I think she will connect to much with people in this book. Of course loved seeing Griff and Mal again! They are just so perfect!! The adventure aspect really intrigued me through out the whole book, and the way Sarah describes things it felt like I was dropped straight into there world. I can not wait to see this story continue into the next book!

I received a copy of this book from the author, and I absolutely devoured it! From page one, the characters are so well-written, and I loved watching them grow into themselves and the relationships they built. There’s love and lust and all the joys and heartaches in between. The story grabs you from the beginning and doesn’t let go! With a town to explore, a witch to meet, ghosts to look out for, pasts threatening to catch up, and a beloved matriarch to save, this book is packed with everything you could want in an adventure! If you liked Our Rogue Fates, you’re going to LOVE the sequel!

Book 1 (Our Rogue Fates) was a 3.5-4 out of 5 stars for me... but Book 2 (A Rogue's Ruin) supplied everything I was hoping for! It's as if the author telepathically received my pleas and gave the readers more spice, new characters, deeper character development, more elaborate landscapes and scenery; etc... LOVE IT. My favorite characters found love and self-assurance, but the delightful cliffhanger means that there's so much more to de discovered!

Another wild ride for the Rogue Devotions crew! Such a great story filled with our favorites from the first book Our Rouge Fates and introductions to new favorite characters as well. Just the right amount of spice and adventure to keep you wanting more with each chapter. Absolutely enjoyed this story and am looking forward to reading even more of what this group will get into. Can we say cliffhanger?!?!

Thank you so much to Sarah for the opportunity to read and ARC of this second book in the series. I had such a great time with this one! Liam deserved for his story to be told and to have joy & a happy ending!
This is a MM and FF romantasy, but reads cozy to me the way that Sarah builds out her plot and her writing style. The art in the book was such a treat too!!

I enjoyed FATES, but RUIN hit different.
I love how Mal and Liam is getting along! The bromanceeee. I feel bad for Liam in FATES but glad he is getting his own HEA here (hello Cael). Alys is going through A LOT but yayyy she found someone too! Overall I really enjoyed it. That ending thoooo can't wait to read book 3!

In short, I was happy to be back with the crew again but terrified to be in Thrallkeld! Thankfully I had a lot of protection.
I want to start off how impressed I was with all the different POV’S! Being able to have four POV’s at once and still managing to weave them together to tell a story was magical and amazing!
I instantly fell for Liam! I fear I have a thing for blondes. He was a treat to have as one of the POV. And I love how his story played out. He was probably one of my favorite POV.
We get to see more of Alys and I feel for her as well. Her growth and reflection from ORF was so nice and refreshing. Especially to see it across books, things are addressed and still relevant. I think her story is important to see and many people will connect with her even if they didn’t agree with all her actions in ORF.
Then last but never least we had Mal’s and Griff’s POV on the adventure, still giving us all the feels as they did in the first book!
Rogue’s Ruin was written beautifully, descriptive enough that scenes jumped off the pages and I can still see them vividly as I write this review! A real page turner that paid attention to the details.
This is a fantastic addition to the Rogue universe. The cliffhanger had me in shock, opened mouth and tapping my kindle in hopes it was a joke and there was a next page!
Thank you so much, Sarah. From the absolute bottom of my heart for giving me the opportunity to read and review Rogue’s Ruin early!

I love a good ensemble cast and GODS did A Rogue's Ruin deliver! The sequel to my beloved Our Rogue Fates is every bit as fun and heartfelt as the first book, and the quest is even more intense! To be honest, I was a bit worried at first, knowing that the focus switches to different characters but it took me a few pages to get into PROTECT LIAM AT ALL COSTS mode. One of my favourite things about the characters in Rogues is how fast they pull you in, which makes emotional connection grow only stronger from chapter to chapter. We explore Thrallkeld, a dangerous new location, meet so many friends along the way (sweetheart Cael, the mysterious Tansy and RIYA MY WIFE among others 🔥), and see Liam and Alys start their journey towards their very own happily ever after. And don't worry, Griff and Mal are still there to give you all the feels, because Wynnie needs saving and there's no way they'd stay behind. All in all, a fantastic read that pulls you right back into the world of Rogues and gives you new characters to love and care for.
To Sarah, thank you so much for creating this beautiful place for us to get lost in. I can't wait for more!
I'm so grateful for the opportunity to read this as an ARC. The opinions are my own 💜

I loved the first story so much, but somehow this one was even better! It builds upon the characters we know and love, Mal, Griff, Alys and Liam, and takes them on a new and exciting journey to save someone who is very near and dear to them all. For those of us who felt like Lim was done dirty in book one, this one is for you!!! Both Liam and Alys find love along their new adventures taken in this book. This one does end in a cliffhanger, books 2/3 are really essentially one story, but all will be revealed soon!
I’m so grateful to Sarah for trusting me to beta read her books. She’s so lovely and deserves all the success she’s getting with this series! Thank you for giving me a chance and l hope this series continues to get the love and praise it so rightfully deserves. 💖✨💖✨💖✨💖✨💖✨
