Theoden: I am now the official Prince of the City. The reins have been handed over and I am now fully in control. My first order of business is to fortify the defenses of my territory. Thanks to my King, Ara's decree, my plate is exceptionally full. I have to solidify an alliance with Celestial Dragon King, Evander. I also have to make a new alliance with Wolf Alpha, Deacon. That meeting can either end bloody or amicable. Wolves are a stubborn sort and savage in their quest for more power. This night should prove to be very interesting.

Noel: Marco doesn't play, and he's going to make me regret my foolish decision. I should have listened to Derek. I know not to cross the mean bastard now. This night has been so busy: Theoden's ascension, my training, what happened at the bar, and on top of that, I still have a punishment looming over me. I haven't even begun to search for a human to sire. Hell, I don't even know how? Do I just grab some unlucky bastard off the streets and say, "hey, I'm your new vampire daddy!" This is so messed up, I don't even want to sire anyone, but I have no choice. Also, because I'm Theoden's son, that makes me a General, which I believe is a higher rank than Enforcer. What that means, exactly, I'm not sure... but I know I'll find out sooner or later.

Warning: This serial contains strong adult content not meant for sensitive eyes. The novelettes in this serial will be filled with dark, twisted, raunchy and steamy scenes between powerful, sexy men that will either offend you or get ya revved up. This series will not be pulling any punches, and it won’t apologize for hurting your feelings, either. You’ll find no fluff and ruffles here. The vampires are not misunderstood, hopeless romantics looking for love. The werewolves are not cute and cuddly and the dragons aren’t the ones from your childhood. This is NOT a romance. There are approximately 35200 words in this novelette.

About The Maniac Who Wrote These Books

I'm the author of deliciously dark, sexy, and thrilling MM fiction in various genres. I corrupt readers with salacious tales of possessive men staking their claims on the men who make their blood rise in certain places. I know... I should be ashamed, but I'm shameless. I'm a public menace that can't be stopped, and my characters are rude, sassy, charming, arrogant, and hotter than sinners in hell. They tell me what they want and I follow orders. When I'm not hunched over my keyboard typing away, I love to watch movies and TV shows (You should check out my reviews.)

The negotiations are clear... Théoden needs to achieve strong alliances with the werewolves as with the dragons!!

Théoden's meeting with Tylendel, the dragon is.... Well let's just say, Théoden "received" enough to feed his dragon!! pheeuw

Marco and Noel continue their training.
Noel still needs punishments and Marco is just the guy to give it to him. *cringes*

But I love Noel's connection with Théoden.

"I knew my place and I crawled in and settled next to Théoden, letting him wrap his arm around me.
I felt it, our connection. I had been feeling it every time, but only now did it become more apparent.
Maybe because now it made sense. I also realized I liked the feeling of him being beside me, sheltering me, desiring me.

This is my life"

Oh this one is sooooo good. *fans self* and starts next episode immediately.

***

Wow. Lots happening in this third installment. More "lessons" for Noel, negotiations with the Werewolves and Dragons and plenty of feeding...especially for Theoden. Lord though...Bruce and his new pet had me wincing with their dirty talk (yeah to still be wincing at this point is saying a lot)...don't like this Ryan kid much at all. We shall see. Marco is still quite a bastard but he's growing on me.

4.5 star review by The Blogger Girls.

This series is really rolling now. Théoden is now Prince of the City and wasting no time in getting things under control. The first of two pressing needs is addressed when a meeting is set up with the Alpha of the wolves. I was so excited to see them finally make an appearance.

One thing I love about this series is the fact that you can easily see and feel the differences between the species. By that, I mean that it is clear the vamps are dangerous but more refined and reserved about things. They are more controlled about everything they do. The wolves, even though we have only seen them briefly so far, are much more wild, not caring about appearances and just doing what they do. I can totally picture them in a mass feeding frenzy, playing with their food. Then, there are the dragons, most powerful, both physically and sexually. They’re bad, and they know it but don’t need to show it, choosing instead to sit back and enjoy the pursuit of their sexual endeavors.

So now, Théoden has called a meeting with the wolves in hopes of coming to an agreement for their future, centering around the capture of the rogue wolf hybrid, Dante. Terms are agreed upon that hint of quite a few interesting possibilities, especially for our friend, Noel, who has been busy trying to learn his new position. Marco is a strict mentor, so of course, nothing is easy for Noel. The second pressing need of siring more vamps is still on everyone’s minds.

While this segment has a lot more story building, it still contains the crazy hot and no frills sex we’ve seen in the previous books. Positions may change here and there, and power gained but then lost, as Noel continues to take one step forward, two steps back. He’s getting there though, but I sense some potential upheaval in his future if things play out the way they are hinted at.

I am becoming more and more involved with these characters and their world as this story grows. It seems to really be gaining momentum now, and as with the previous installments, I cannot wait for the next.

This starts with Theoden going from Lord to Prince. He sets up new rules for the vampires and starts making alliances with the Dragon King and the Alpha Werewolf. Theoden's son's are now tasked to sire a "child", as are all the vampires. Noel is finally embracing being a vampire and starting to really enjoy the sex with his "brothers". He is not only tasked with siring a "child" he also has to learn how and what it means to be a "child" from the House of Theoden. He and his "brothers" are now Theoden's generals, so now he has to learn all that intails, and none other than Marco is going to be his instructor. While all this is going on they all still have to hunt the half-breed. The sex is plentiful and hot as hell and there's dragon venom flying all over. I'm really hooked on this series and wait very impatiently for the next installment. 5 sexy steamy fangs.

Wow!! Marco-- don't piss him off! Or maybe we should, because you can stop reading him! Noel must learn and adapt quicker as so many changes are happening with Theoden becoming the Prince as well as a grandfather.

More information is revealed about dragons and werewolves!

Raw, gritty, hot vampires, werewolves & dragons Oh my!

Ok bare with me. I really struggled with the first season. Like I actually stopped reading 3 times. I love dark erotica, smut, D/S. I was recommended this series. Begged to give it another go. I really struggled to get past the rape and Degradation. It's not a romance. Think Vampire, Dragon, werewolf post apocalypse meets hard core porn. No boundaries, no consent. Season 1 was hard for me. Horrible.

I enjoyed this season so much more as there was consent! I guess that's the difference, you can explain alot away but if it's fantasy n reality. It can really change the yuck feeling. Having a scene of torture or flashback is sometimes confronting, but it adds to story. Definitely not the core erotica note of book. Or an entire book made up of back to back of non-consensual encounters it was just off putting.

So yeah, it made me sick. This season was completely the opposite, once they embraced the nature and consent was there. Boom. 1 star to 4.5 star.

So you have to go in knowing not a romance! Once your mind set changes and you approach it from a different angle it's actually great..

It's a very creative read, just as author says, there definitely isn't another book like it!

Another great add to the series. Duel point of views again with Noel and Theoden make this a great new dynamic. Noel is starting his training with Marco still and now with new orders to Sire his own child he is feeling overwhelmed but also more series about being a vampire. I love him and Marco together because I know punishments are going to be more and more crazy. More Theoden and Tylendel together have one of the most hot scenes to date. Add in finally getting to meet some werewolves and things are heating up for New Haven. Can't wait for the next.

Impossible to put down

These book are so in your face with illicit details and gory details. The vampires, dragon’s, and werewolves are all very sexual and constantly trying to dominate each other and others within their groups. But you can’t stop reading..must get the next one.

I am always amazed at where the author takes our favorite characters. This book is as amazing as the ones before it. There is something endearing about Noel and his journey towards becoming a fully integrated member of the House of Theoden. I think it has something to do with the fact that he hangs on to humanity as tightly as a blanket. But in this book, he is beginning to embrace his vampire nature just a little bit. But, true to his character, things are never easy or smooth. He cannot help but to step in it, time and time again. He seems to forget that every one of his brothers out rank him.
Theoden is now the Prince of the City. This is a title he relishes, and he is forced to quickly grab the reins from his King, Ara. Ara is impressed with his new decrees, they should help tremendously with vampire freedom to move about, decreasing unrest where vampires were restricted to their own cities. Now they can travel about without seeking permission. All of the vampires are under the gun, they all must embrace new vampires so Ara will have an army to take with him on his campaign. But, first things first. Theoden needs to build alliances with the wolves and dragons.
Getting meetings with the Alpha wolf and King Evander prove easier than Theoden believed. But the costs of those alliances appear to rest squarely on Noel's shoulders. His virgin backside is in high demand. That should prove interesting.
Noel gets to flex his muscles with the cruel gatekeepers from his confinement. For once we see him getting to dole out a little payback. Go Noel. But our favorite rebel will not be smiling when he receives his punishment for disrespecting Marco and Bruce. This one is as brutal as any Theoden doled out. Noel really needs to learn to play ball with his brothers. He will need to accept how things are done in his new world. Saying no and standing up to them causes him to not be able to sit. You almost feel sorry for him. Or not.
A few of his brothers have managed to choose children to sire. This is tightening the noose on Noel to hurry up and make a decision. But he is so new to being a vampire that this is going to be one of the hardest things to do. He barely knows how to be a vampire himself!
I keep falling more for this series with every book. It just draws you in. The kinky sex and heat of it all don't hurt either. It might be gritty and raunchy, but that just makes it even more delicious. Nicholas Bella takes you to a place you didn't know existed. And then you are hooked.

I first discovered this author in 2014 when I signed up for Kindle Unlimited. I was going through one of my really must read very dark erotica type of books period and I came across his first book Embraced (Chained in Darkness, #1) by Nicholas Bella . I was blown away. It was everything I was looking for and then some.

* Abduction
* Non-consent
* Graphic descriptions
* Dark and Twisty
* M/M
* M/M/M/M/M/M/M (to infinity it seemed like)
* A real story line - not just smut
* Vampires, Dragons, Humans, and others...
* Multiple characters with breadth and depth

And even though I am no longer subscribing to Kindle Unlimited, every time Nicholas releases a book in this series, it's an auto-buy for me.

In this particular installment of the House of Theoden, we have our two main characters continuing on their designated path towards self-actualization (sorry Maslow!).

Theoden, the most powerful, cunning, sexually charged, and wicked vampire has assumed his role as Prince of the City. He's in control - or actually - more IN CONTROL but heck, his work has only begun. He has to build alliances, make his world stronger. But don't think for a moment that his sexual deviance and debauchery has been put on hold...

Noel, the rebel-fighter-turned-vampire-and-gay-for-everyone, doesn't seem to be struggling as much (at least morally) in his role as a general. In fact, he seems to be all into carrying out one of his father's directive...go forth and sire! That's right, Noel is stepping up like the rest of his brothers and seeking out his first son. What human (male) will he turn? You know Noel, he takes his responsibilities very seriously so he's sure not to disappoint.

There was a lot going on in this book. Yes, of course, there is the delicious, graphic level of male on male on male on male (etc...) action that we've come to love (and crave). But it's more than that. We have wolves people. That's right. We have alliances being formed with wolves. And their Alpha is just a shade less scary than Theoden. The dragons are still contributing to the overall debauchery - and the humans that the House of Theoden is interacting with now (specifically the new children) are a diversified bunch.

My gawd - but the potential for each son/grandson story is endless. I won't spoil things for you. Just read the book.

“We need soldiers in this House. Men willing to be trained to fight and protect what is ours. You stand in the House of the Prince of the City, and we are his Generals.”

We begin with a bang—more public action. Damn, this man can write the hot stuff. Resistance fighters duel to the death in the stadium as the vampires watch.

Noel’s training with Marco continues. Noel meets the guards who were his captors when he was imprisoned—before he was embraced by Theoden. And Noel gets some sweet revenge.

Noel and Marco go shopping. Marco finds Marcus (lol), his man to sire—and Noel buys some hot new threads.

After his visit with Ara, Theoden goes to see his old friend Tylendel. Their unique powers are quite intense. Tylendel’s king, Evander, has taken a special interest in Noel.

Strong plot movement in this book. Marco explains the basics of werewolf culture to Noel. This is new, as Noel didn’t really have any dealings with werewolves when he was a rebel leader in the Outskirts. Marco also helps Noel erect a mental wall, so that Noel will stop broadcasting all his thoughts to his brothers and to Theoden.

Marco remains frustrating. He can be a decent guy (explanations in the car; shopping) and a terrible one (the dungeon). But training with Marco isn’t all bad. There are some sexy times in the car.

Theoden solidifies deals in order to form alliances with Deacon, the leader of the werewolves, and with Evander, the Celestial King of the dragons.

This installment is much heavier on plot and lighter on sex, yet it remains fascinating.

“Your reputation will proceed you by the time I’m done with your training. You will be a fierce killer and soldier ready to defend our Father and this Kingdom with your life.”

Nicholas has no qualms about what he writes to quote him, “I like my erotica dark, gritty, sexy... and even a little raunchy”

I seriously had to laugh at the little raunchy, I tell you what hot smut with a story-line at its finest. I can’t remember how I found out about this talented writer, but damn I’m glad I did. Now Negotiations is book 3 of the second season, it will be well worth you time to read all of the books before hand.
A rebel human embraced, learning and being guided in his new life as a Vampire. Noel’s Sire now the Prince of the City will have to stroke a few “tails” to make sure he gets what he wants. With Theodens sire getting ready to head out of the kingdom and taking half of the strength with him, the Prince must rebuild the force and gain alliances to ensure his own strength.
Theoden has his eldest child the beyond twisted Marco’s training his youngest child Noel to be the best vampire and represent house of Theoden as he should. That training doesn’t come easy, as I said Marcos is an sadist and has no problem reminding his youngest brother why he is second in command. By this time you would think Noel has that down pat, but no... A few more lessons are warranted.
If you though the scene with Theoden and his Sire Ara was hot, you have scene nothing yet.. Holy hotness... Tyendel the dragon Knight and his boys.. Wow.. Just wow...
With a decree from the King to sire new children, a mission to find a half-breed, meetings with Alpha’s and enjoying his boys.. It makes for a busy story that just stays on the move. Yes I recommend it, but read the books before. Enjoy

Like every book in this series I longed for the release more and more the day got closer.
You're drawn deeper and closer into this great story and world with every new installment, it's awesome. And the best: the new book always starts where the one before ends.
And with every new book it seems that Nicholas shows even more facettes of the story itself and the characters. It's exciting to see what turn the story will take this time and to what it may lead in future...
To learn Noel takes his new position and role in the House of Theoden more serious and even is pride to be one of the Generals of the new Prince of the city is awesome. Trained by Marco with patience and taking his punishments for little disobeying, I would even say Noel gets a little comfortable with his new life. Just take the shopping trip! He enjoys himself and his new rank.
But also to finally meet the Alpha of the werewolves, Deacon. Oh. So. Amazing. Deacon could be a hell of a ride and I am more than curious to read more about him in the future! As from the Dragon king! Delicious...and what a way to end this installment!
As I started this series I loved this books from the first page. Nicholas Bella has a way of writing that catchs you instantly and you just don't want that series and seasons to end soon. I really love his books and the way he writes about this dark, kinky and sexy naughtiness I would definitive miss by now for sure! Can't wait for the next installment.

Episode 3 of season 2 finds Noel learning more and more about his abilities and the reader sees a semi-softer side of Marco. The House of Theoden is in high gear to fill King Ara's degree that every vampire old and new embrace a human to strengthen the army so enough vampires will be left in New Haven when Ara leaves for Athens. Theoden meanwhile has his own hands full with meetings with Deacon and Evander to set up alliances with the two opposition rulers. And of course, the hunt for Dante is still in full swing.

I find myself liking this season a lot better. While the sex is still dark, twisted, and over all epically described, there's more storyline which makes the series less like picture-less porn.

I do like how Noel is progressing as a vampire and a character in this series, though I find myself wanting to know more about Donovan, our resident priest turned vampire. I'm sure my curiosity is as piqued as Noel's in that area.

I look forward to reading Hunted, episode four of this season.

I give this book 5 of 5 paws

Just a few words to describe this book. Incredible, spectacular, amazing, awe-inspiring, magnificent and awesome. You get the point. Once I started this book I couldn't put it down. It kept me on the edge of my seat.
You just have to love all the characters. Now there are even more of them. With Théoden's sons getting their own sons. The sex runs ramped as usual.
As usual Nicholas drags you in and holds on to you. He leaves you wanting for more. And he delivers.
If you want to read a book that is highly erotic, extremely dark and twisted and leaves you hanging, then you must read this series. This book is a must read. Again Nicholas has given us suspense, originality and his imagination. If I could, I'd give this book 50 stars but sense I can't, I'll have to give it 5. Well done Nicholas.

I was given arcs of this series in exchange for a honest review.

COMMANDED was the first book of Nicholas' that I have read. I have read M/M before, but none as explicit and erotic as this series and I loved them.

I loved the characters and how the brothers interact with each other.

The story throughout the series is extremely good and kept me glued to the pages.

I will definitely be reading season 1 CHAINED IN DARKNESS and I can't wait for the next season.
