2.5 but I rounded it up to 3. It was cute but I didn’t care for the repeating. No spice. Very closed door which did have a factor in my rating. Will I read another by this author? Probably not. While this is great for maybe an older teen, I want more heat in my story. Ok book.

This has got to be one of the WORST friends to lovers I’ve ever read. In the hopes of making it light hearted this book was just boring, showed there was no proofreading and gave everything and nothing all in one because nothing landed. There was soo much potential for this book but I think with there being no spice or humour or anything, nothing could save it.
I read the first book in the instalment and it was night and day compared to this book, yes the first one was more family focused but it would’ve been nice to get more of that in this book.
