For a light, fun fantasy read, you can't do better than the Post Host series. In the last book, the peaceful town of Starwatch was disrupted by the arrival of soldiers on a training exercise. This time, it's one big party as a Stargazing Festival begins. While Dana Everet's friends are cooking tempting treats for the festivities (don't read this book when you're hungry), she's concerned by foreign bounty hunters on the trail of a monster. Is the community's herbalist at risk of being caught in their magical snares? Soon, it's clear that money alone motivates the ruthless trio, and Dana must place herself in danger to stand up to them.
