The protagonists are Expats and mostly retired older ladies living in Belize. A newcomer turns up dead. The incident of course disturbs this close knit community. But it also gives this community something to do - find out who this woman was and why she was killed, The police and residents work together. Goof humor. The description of Belize was wonderful and the expat experience sounds fascinating.
