By day, Amelia Moore studies fine arts. By night, she craves attention from strangers who only know the version of her she chooses to show.
What starts as harmless admiration turns dangerous when the line between online fantasy and real life begins to blur. And while the world watches her through a screen, she can’t stop watching him.
The one man she knows she shouldn’t want.
Evan Anderson doesn’t believe in coincidence. He sees Amelia, really sees her, the way she doesn’t flinch from his past or the darkness he carries. She is temptation wrapped in innocence—forbidden and untouchable.
And he wants her anyway.
But when does protection become possession? And how far will he go to claim what he believes is his?**Ctrl Alt Mine is a standalone dark stalker romance, It contains adult themes, sensitive topics, and is solely intended for mature audiences over 18 years of age. It is suggested that you read the warnings at the beginning of the book or on the author's social media pages before continuing, your mental health is important. **
Ashley B. Dark is an Australian based dark romance author.
Dark romance is where you'll find her head hidden when she is reading, flicking between the pages of taboo, bully and why choose the most.
When she is not reading or thinking about the next morally grey book boyfriend to write for you she is spending time with her supportive husband, two kids and two rascal dogs.
I am so honoured to have been chosen to arc read CTRL ALT MINE by Ashley Dark. This one holy moly was so amazing that I was absolutely hooked on it.
Ashley I love your writing style, as you stories just draw me in and making me fixated on what's going to happen next.
I definitely worked out before hand who Evan Anderson was online and that made me happy I was right on his username. Evan's job is tracking down evil dangerous people and made it his mission after the trauma when he was a teenager and sent his father to prison.
Amelia on the other hand is a college student and also a online content creator.
Absolutely loved Amelia and Evan finally having a connection towards either other and omg the spice between them.
This book is definitely for reader that want a dark theme book. This book has stalkers, praise kink, killer lineage, superior complex, masked men, trauma and violence all round into a neatly dark bow.
Definitely read the trigger warnings before you dive in as there is a few and your mental health comes first and don't want this book to cause any distress. Read at your own caution.
This was such a solid dark romance read. It pulled me in quickly and kept that tension running the entire time.
The story leans heavily into the psychological side of dark romance — obsession, control, and the blurred line between protection and possession. I really liked that it didn’t rely purely on spice to carry the story. The tension and dynamic between the characters did most of the work, which made everything feel more intense.
The MMC is definitely on the darker side — very calculated, obsessive, and morally grey in a way that will either work for you or absolutely not. For me, it worked. He’s the kind of character you know you shouldn’t like… but you do anyway.
The spice is there, but it’s not constant or overwhelming. It fits the tone of the story rather than taking it over, which I appreciated.
Overall, a really engaging read with strong dark romance elements and a thriller edge. If you enjoy stalker romance, obsessive dynamics, and morally grey characters, this is definitely worth picking up.
This one came in like a keyboard smash and left emotional damage in the best way.
CTRL Alt Mine by Ashley Dark had me in an absolute chokehold from page one. No breaks. No snacks. Just me, blinking at 2am like “one more chapter” and suddenly it’s the end.
Our FMC? Unhinged in the most iconic way. A cam girl with zero shame and maximum chaos energy. Every time she popped up with a new idea I was sitting there like, “girl… you’re dressing as WHAT???” 💀 and somehow loving her more for it.
And the MMC?? Fully obsessed. Down bad. Gone. The kind of obsession that has you kicking your feet while also questioning your life choices because why is this attractive?? I don’t know. I don’t make the rules. I just suffer and swoon.
This was my first Ashley Dark read and honestly? I’m already side-eyeing her backlist like it owes me money. I had way too much fun with this one.
If you like your romance dark, chaotic, and just a little bit feral… yeah, this one’s for you
So I previously arc read for Ashley Dark. I'm kind of familiar with her writing style. And I know when I read one of her books I'm going to get a dark, intense, spicy good time. And this didn't disappoint. Ctrl Alt Mine was a great read. I enjoyed it a lot. I liked the characters. The "work" the fmc does is different from what I read usually, but wildly entertaining. Um, the things these characters get up to is so wild. I was thinking, Oh, she really went there during certain portions of the book. So yeah, Ashley Dark knows how to write scenes!
Overall, a great book that I would definitely recommend to future readers. As always and every time, thank you so much to Ashley Dark for allowing me to read this in advance of its release.
I devoured this read, so thoroughly enjoyed, had a great time from start to finish!
This was the first time reading one of Ashley's books. Loved her writing style and genre, can't wait for more. Will definitely be reading her others in the near future.
I couldn't put this book down I was on edge as it didn't reveal much on who U thought was the goodie or Baddie but that's the best about Ashley books she likes to twist your perception and then do a 180 and do something shocking leaving ur mouth hanging open till the end of the book :)))
I devoured this book!! Holy it was such an awesome story
Evan and Amelia’s story was so much fun to read, it had me sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for what’s next, This book has all best tropes Age gap Stalker Hurt/comfort Praise Cam girl x hacker
I loved this book. Ashley Dark is definitely an up and coming author. Her 3rd book and her books keep me interested all the way through. Love it. Keep them coming.
This book had all of our favourite tropes! Amelia is a college student who's working as a cam girl to to pay for said college. Evan is the older brother of Amelia's bestfriend and room-mate. Evan, is an IT genius who works to rid the world of scumbags and on the side stalks his sisters room mate. Amelia unfortunately also has a bad stalker as well as her good stalker (Evan) so she needs to be protected, and who better to do that than her brother bestfriend! This story was fantastic, it not only had all our favourite tropes, it had some of the best microtropes as well!
📖 : CTRL ALT MINE ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Releases 30th April 2026
Where do I even begin with this book!!
I was lucky enough to be able to beta read for Ashley again which is something I will always cherish and one thing I always know going into one of her books is once I start it, I will NOT be able to put it down!
Once again that was the case with CTRL ALT MINE. During one of my worst reading months and book slumps, Ash grabbed me through this book and said nope, girl not happening on my watch! 🤭
I was hooked from the first page that opening scene INCREDIBLE and loved every moment from start to finish. I loved absolutely every second of it. Find a dark romance that has all the dark themes there but the MMC actually treats the FMC well. Don't get me wrong he is still unhinged in all the most fun and insane ways haha but when it comes down to the important stuff he will burn the world down for his girl.
It's a hard choice but I think Evan became my favourite MMC of Ashley's so far and Amelia was so incredible. I loved seeing her confidence with her CAM work and has honestly been one of my favourite tropes to read. I loved watching their relationship grow throughout the book, especially watching Evan open up and be valuable with Amelia was one of my favourites.
This truly had a bit of everything incredible plot (2 stalkers? Excuse me!), fun and unhinged moments that had me giggling kicking my feet, spice that was SPICING a few scenes for sure I will NEVER forget!! and two chatacters that you won't be able to help but fall inlove with them instantly! 🤭
I highly, HIGHLY reccomend this one once it releases!
You know that feeling when you pick up a book and it just feels so right from the get go? This was it... this was 100% pure book crack for me. From the moment I met Amelia and Evan, I was OBSESSED!
The dark themes mixed in with humour, tension and yearning kept me reading late into the night. I love the cam work side of it, I haven't read nearly enough of this but have decided I love it. Not only that, we get stalkers, masks and some very inventive spicy scenes.
Amelia is feisty and confident, and Evan, my beautiful broken man, is my newest edition to the permanent book boyfriend roster. There is just something about a tall, dark and broody grump that just does it for me. And the way he slowly loosened up and let himself be vulnerable... cat nip. These two, whether solo or together, had chemistry exploding off the page. There were quite a few scenes that had me fanning my face. The pool scene? Thankyou for that one ;)
I will say, 100% check the TWs, because Ash went dark (I couldn't help myself) but if you decide to give Evan and Amelia-f*cking-Moore a chance, you regret it!
This book is sooo good Im at a loss for words. To say I loved this book would be an understatement! The spice was 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶, the plot was incredible had me trying to be a Detective, Ameila and Evan.....💚💚💚💚 damm they were just perfect I honestly don't know how Im going to move on to a new book might take me a while to move on from this one.

CTRL ALT MINE is 5⭐️ this is top tier stuff, I cannot wait to read it again.🤗
I Beta read this book back in January and fell inlove so hard for these characters! Re-reading it again makes me want more! Who doesn’t love a good stalker romance where the man is her best friends brother! Arghh Evan you are something special!
There is some scenes where you smirk, look around the room to make sure no one can see what you are reading and go ohhhh he did not… but yes yes he did and honestly these scenes are playing on repeat in my head even after finishing the book!
It’s a book you can’t put down so I highly suggest getting cosy by the fire and finishing this one up as quickly as you can!
