Can't understand the low reviews this book got on Goodreads. For what it is, the author did a good job bringing together from all the periods of Dylan's 50 year career and discussing their insights into the man and his music. No salacious gossipy stuff here; just little or not known stories and comments told by people who have known and worked with Dylan over the years. Some of this stuff we've seen before in published interviews but there was enough new stuff to keep my interest. Especially enjoyed the Maria Muldaur chapter. She's known him since she was bout 17 years old and he was just getting started in the Village. Good book.

Incredibly interesting and entertaining book!! The anecdotes and insights are amazing. The Beatles and Baez chapters in particular are wonderful. And Bono interviews Bob and Van Morrison: Great stuff!
