आई-ना mere liye ek aisi book thi jo dheere dheere dil ke andar utarti gayi
Is book ki sabse achi baat mujhe ye lagi ki ye emotions ko force nahi karti. Sab kuch bahut naturally flow karta hai. Conversations thoughts aur choti choti observations itni real lagti hain ki kai jagah mujhe laga jaise main kisi aur ki story nahi balki khud ke emotions padh rahi hoon
Book ka atmosphere bahut calm hai but us calmness ke andar loneliness confusion aur emotional heaviness chhupi hui hai. Especially jo lines self reflection aur relationships ke around thi unhone genuinely mujhe pause karne pe majboor kiya. Kuch quotes toh aise the jo padhne ke baad kaafi der tak dimag me ghoomte rahe.
Mujhe iska writing style bhi bahut pasand aaya because language simple hai but emotions strong feel hote hain. Over dramatic hone ki jagah book quietly impact karti hai and honestly wahi cheez isse aur beautiful banati hai.
Reading this felt less like reading a fictional story and more like sitting alone with your own thoughts at night. Thoda melancholic thoda comforting and very very human.
I picked up आई-ना because it looked like a quick read, but ngl, it stayed in my mind way longer than i expected.
It's not just about a mirror. It's about looking at the parts of yourself that you usually avoid. The poems are really short and the language is super simple, but somehow they hit hard. Nothing feels overdone or dramatic, and that's what i liked the most.
The spaces between the poems almost feel as important as the words themselves. It gives you time to actually think instead of just rushing through the pages. A few poems genuinely made me pause before turning the page.
My only complaint is that i wanted more. I was getting into the book and then it just ended. It's a very short read, but the thoughts stay with you even after you're done.
If you're looking for a story with a proper plot, this probably isn't your kind of book. But if you enjoy quiet, thoughtful poetry that makes you reflect on yourself without trying to preach anything, then i think you'll really like this one.
Reading this book felt so calming and relaxing because it doesn’t force you to feel things, everything flows smoothly on its own. I loved how I could feel the poet's emotions and thoughts as if they were my own. This book looks straight into your heart and lets you experience its emotions in a simple way.
It understands you and the feelings you’ve been hiding from everyone, or even from yourself. The book feels like your own personal diary, giving you a reality check about things you don’t want to talk about. It made me stop and rethink life all over again. I finished reading it a while ago, but the thoughts are still in my head.
The writing style is very simple, but the feelings are very strong. It touches you quietly and stays with you long after you finish reading, which is really beautiful. Overall, this book is not just about poems. It feels like talking to yourself in the middle of the night and thinking about life. The words are easy, but the meaning is deep. If you like books that make you think about life and your own heart, you should read this book.
Kitaab padhkar laga jaise kisi ne humare andar chalne wali un baaton ko shabdon mein utaar diya ho, jinhe hum aksar nazarandaaz kar dete hain.
Yeh kitab sirf kavitaon ka sangrah nahi, balki khud se rubaru hone ki ek khoobsurat koshish hai.
Mujhe is kitab ki sabse achhi baat iska simplicity aur depth ka combination laga.
Shabd bahut saral hain lekin arth kaafi gehra hai.
Yeh kitab un logon ke liye zaroor padhni chahiye jo poetry ke saath-saath self-reflection aur life ke deeper aspects ko explore karna pasand karte hain.
English review- ( cuz I wrote in both 🤣)
"Aina" by Rajiv Kejriwal is a work that forced me to think: when we look at ourselves in the mirror, do we want to see our physical reflection, or the reflection of our own character that we have created in our minds? It felt not just poem stanzas but a brief dive into conscience of mind where each one of us sometimes hide or find things in our reflection in mirror. Mirror here plays not just an object, but a doorstep into reader's heart. Personally, it was my first ever Hindi poetry book after high school and it took me quiet a while to decipher it's hidden depth. The book was very very short, overall only 10-12 pages I guess and I ended up finishing in a single sitting.
Overall, it's a deep thoughtful dive into a reader's subconscious through poetic whispers. If you enjoy poetry, especially Hindi poetry with depth then this is definitely worth picking.
