Consumed : A Dark Obsessive Forest God Romance - Part of Beasty Unions Series

Rate this book
A dark fairytale monster romance. Explicit heat. An Alice in Wonderland retelling where the rabbit bites back - with teeth!

Seven feet of white fur, black claws, and absolute patience. He was waiting in the garden when Alice arrived. He's been waiting for longer than she wants to ask.

Alice took a freelance commission in a village that doesn't appear on most maps. The cottage was cheap. The brief was simple. The woods were not.

He doesn't chase. He doesn't grab. He watches her with unblinking attention and asks permission before he touches her face with hands that could break the door frame. And when she gives that permission, he takes his time with it.

The problem is the garden. It grows in a circle. Each flower marks an hour. Every hour she spends near him, a flower closes. Every touch costs time neither of them can get back.

Alice has built a life around precision and solitude. She is discovering that the most dangerous thing in these woods is not the creature.

It is how much she wants him to stop asking permission.

Consumed is a standalone novel in the Fangs and Fairytails series. HEA guaranteed. No cliffhanger.

It was very interesting like Alice in wonderland with a twist of her with the white rabbit and what he had to go through I don't know lol. It was like everything Alice originally knew changed in one encounter with this white rabbit basically a monster white rabbit because he wasn't a regular rabbit being 7 ft and all lol. I loved how he changed Alice's perspective on life how she always watched and observed it seemed like she was closed off to everything but what she knew observing. Meeting him opened new things she didn't even really know how to express with anyone else or other's just couldn't understand her. It was an invigorating experience learning his world what he went through what he felt what they started to feel together. How time was basically his whole world in a sense because of that garden but then became one with her instead. It was just a fascinating story it kept me engaged and entertained lol. I can't to read more by this author!
