Finley Westbrook’s life just blew up. Now, the only thing she wants is for her husband to sign their divorce papers. Just one he wants half of her, and her family’s, fortune. Finley's life has been turned upside down and she visits her friend to get away from her soon to be ex-husband. Lincoln is looking for a nanny to babysit his son while at work but the options are not good. Until Finley decides to take the offer as a way of distracting her even though she has absolutely no idea about babysitting, cooking, doing laundry or even having a job.
I LOVED Finley! Seriously when he blurb is talking about a trust fund baby I imagined her being a brat with a nose up in the air. But she's way too cute and level headed and so down to earth that I would have liked her to be my friend. She's so hilarious making mistake after mistake as she really has no idea what she's doing but she owns with confidence.
Lincoln is a grumpy but softy inside. He's kind of bitter with the way he was treated by his ex-wife but he sees everything under a new light the moment he meets Finley.
I really loved their relationship. The banter, the teasing, the uncertainty were all there to make you feel connected to them. And the angst when Finley has the accident and Lincoln almost loses it. Ugh I wish I could get into more details but that would be me spoiling and I don't want to.
And Asa, Lincoln's son, is the cutest and sneakiest 8 year old. I loved how Asa and Finley bonded after spending so much time and at the same time so soon together
I received this arc and this is my honest opinion

Falling for Her is bok two in the Falling For series. It features detective, Lincoln Burke, and city girl, Finley Westbrook. She flees town when her cheating husband won't grant her a divorce and heads to see her friend, Collins.

Lincoln is in need of a live-in nanny for a month for his son and Collins and Theo (from book one) suggest Finley, which I really didn't understand. Finley is nowhere near the nanny type. She's never worked a day in her life or spent time with children. Besides, Lincoln and Finley have a disaster of a meeting before he even knows who she is.

I have to admit that Finley was a hoot. She tried to learn how to do things (cooking, laundry, etc.) with the help of YouTube, but it just didn't go her way. LOL But, her relationship with Asa, Lincoln's son, was wonderful, and Lincoln couldn't deny that. He also couldn't deny his growing feelings for her.

Read this if you like:

I listened and read this. The audiobook is narrated in DUAL format by Samantha Brentmoor and Teddy Hamilton. These two always give wonderful voice acting performances.

I had the pleasure of receiving this as an e-ARC/ALC and voluntarily will be giving my honest review. This is the second book in The Falling for Series and I absolutely loved the audiobook the narration was spot on!! I lo e the chemistry between the two!! She was getting away from an abusive husband and he was recently divorced dad. She was hired as his son’s nanny and one thing lead to another!! Phenomenal storyline!! Can’t wait for the next book in this series.

Ahhhh I love this book and this world so much!! Every time I get to come back to it, I remember why I love it so much. Single dad/nanny trope will always be top tier for me. And watching our GRUMPY single dad slowly become a softie for his nanny? Yeah that’s gonna do it for me every single time.

The best part? There were two subplots that kept me just as intrigued and wanting to know more. It’s an action packed romance novel and I ate it up.

So so good!!

Pulled in from the very first moment—and honestly, this book was not what I was expecting, but I absolutely loved where it took me! 😍

Let me start with Finley because I LOVED her! She’s hilarious, can’t cook, is a complete hot mess with a smart mouth, and has never been a nanny a day in her life 😂 But after leaving a bad marriage, she’s looking for a fresh start and a place to escape.

Lincoln is a divorced detective who needs a live-in nanny for his eight-year-old son, Asa. What happens next, both inside and outside the house, is filled with chemistry, tension, and 🔥🔥🔥!

The spice is SPICY 🌶️🌶️🌶️ and the romantic suspense added the perfect amount of excitement to keep me turning the pages. This quickly became one of my favorite books I’ve read by Natasha Madison! ❤️

Thank you to Natasha Madison for the ARC! 💕 I can’t wait for everyone to get their hands on this one when it releases October 13! 📚✨

Somehow, that getaway turns into Finley becoming a temporary nanny for Lincoln, a divorced detective and single father who desperately needs someone to watch his eight-year-old son, Asa. The only problem is that Finley has never had a job or really had to take care of herself, let alone someone else! 😂 Some of my favorite moments involved her attempts at basic household tasks. Between laundry disasters and discovering that even a frozen lasagna isn't necessarily Finley-proof, there were plenty of laughs. But what really made this storyline work for me was her relationship with Asa. Their bond was incredibly sweet, and I loved watching Finley settle into this completely different kind of life. Of course, having an attractive single dad in the house made things a little more complicated!

What surprised me was how much more serious the story became as it progressed. Finley's upbringing explains a lot about her complicated feelings toward family and relationships, and there was more depth to her character than I initially expected. Lincoln also has a major investigation happening in the background, while the situation with Finley's soon-to-be ex becomes increasingly unsettling. Eventually those lighter nanny mishaps are sharing space with some genuinely tense moments. I wasn't expecting the romantic suspense element to become as significant as it did, but it kept me invested without taking away from Finley and Lincoln's relationship.

Overall, I really enjoyed this one. Finley could have easily been written as nothing more than the clueless rich woman who has never done anything for herself, but I loved seeing the person underneath all of that privilege. Her relationship with Asa was one of my favorite parts of the entire book, and I enjoyed watching the three of them slowly begin to feel like their own little unit. There was humor, romance, family, suspense, and enough drama to keep things interesting. And I got TWO epilogues! You know that automatically makes me happy. 😂 This was my first visit to this particular group of characters, but now I definitely want to go back and read Collins and Theo's story in "Falling for You."

Omg, this book gave me ALL the feels! Book two in the Falling For series, Finley and Lincoln’s story had me laughing, swooning, tears and feeling ALL the emotions! So good!

FINLEY! Even though she was a trust fund baby, she was so down-to-earth, so loving and caring and just a complete hot mess in the BEST way. She leaves her cheating husband and heads to a Montgavin to stay with her friend, only to end up as a live-in nanny for a job she is VERY clearly not qualified for. She can’t cook, never has done laundry and definitely never taken care of a child. I can’t express how freaking funny this girl is! But she has such a HUGE heart and is so loving and so deserving of love, a true love she has never experienced before from anyone, not even her own family.

And then there’s Lincoln. The grumpy, HOT, divorced detective who is still bitter over the way his marriage ended, (also cheated on by his wife), and suddenly finds himself with a nanny who is nothing like what he expected. Their banter… OMG Natasha wrote it so perfectly! And Asa?! The sweetest eight-year-old completely stole my heart. I loved watching his bond with Finley grow and seeing Lincoln realize just how good she was for both of them.

Their chemistry is PURE 🔥 The way this man worships her, showing her a pleasure she never knew was possible… his dirty mouth, and I am an absolute SUCKER for a man who calls you “baby.” Just EVERYTHING! 🥵❤️

Montgavin!! The perfect small town filled with the most amazing, supportive, and loving characters. I LOVE getting to see all of them throughout the series and watching this beautiful found family continue to grow! 🥰

And the suspense! It added so much to the story and will absolutely pull at your heart with everything these two go through. At its heart, this was a story about coming through deep hurt and finding an even deeper healing and a pure, soul-deep love.As always, Natasha weaves that feeling of soul-deep love, family, and belonging into her books, and it is truly priceless. ❤️Read this book and series!

Natasha Madison’s writing always has a way of dropping me straight into her small towns & making me fall for her characters almost immediately, & Falling for Her was no different. This was such a fun, sweet & slightly suspenseful ride, but the banter might have been my favorite part.

Finley was SO much fun. She comes into town in the middle of a messy divorce, somehow ends up as Lincoln’s temporary nanny & is completely unprepared for basically every part of the job. The chaos that follows had me laughing because she truly has no idea what she’s doing, but she throws herself into it anyway. I loved watching her find her footing, gain some independence & start figuring out what she actually wants her life to look like.

Then there’s Lincoln, the grumpy, protective detective & single dad who likes his life organized exactly the way it is. Finley is pretty much the opposite of organized, so obviously putting these two under the same roof was going to be entertaining. Their back & forth was SO good, the chemistry was there immediately & I loved watching Finley slowly work her way past all of Lincoln’s walls.

But I think what made me love this one even more was Finley’s relationship with Asa. Their bond was so sweet & watching the three of them gradually start to feel like their own little family gave me all those found family feelings I love in a single dad romance.

I also really enjoyed the suspense woven throughout the story. Between Lincoln’s work as a detective & everything happening with Finley’s soon-to-be ex, there was just enough tension & danger to give the story an extra layer while still keeping the romance front & center.

I had so much fun with this one! I loved Finley & Lincoln together, but the banter, the sweet found family moments & that little bit of suspense really made this one for me. Another Natasha Madison small town romance that was just so easy to get completely swept up in!

Falling For Her will bring you all the feels, I honestly couldn’t put this down. I just love a good small town, nanny, single dad romance and a mix of suspense. Finley and Lincoln story has to be one of my top faves couples that Natasha has written.

Finley Westbrook isn’t your typical girl, she’s a trust fund baby. She’s hasn’t worked day in her life and she has everything she possibly needs. The one thing she really wants a divorce from her soon to be ex husband. But he isn’t playing fair. So she does the one thing she can think of. She goes and stays with her best friend Collins. When opportunity strikes she takes a job as a live in nanny. It’s great to see how far she goes to take care of Asa. It will definitely bring out all the laughs. They share a special bond between them. Enter Lincoln Burke a divorced, single dad, detective and loves what he does for a living. The job has a lot of pressure and risks. So you’ll see his line of work. But his pride of joy is his son Asa. So when he hires Finely he doesn’t know what’s getting into. So you see that dynamic. He has a tough exterior and what he put off Finley gives it right back. When the working relationship turns into something more you see how much they can open to one another. She isn’t afraid to be herself around him. And Lincoln is learning lot more about Finley as well. It’s great to see how much the sparks fly. But when danger lurks, Lincoln will do everything in his power to keep her and his son safe.

Once again, this series just keeps getting better and better. Finley and Lincoln story was beautiful written. The banter between these two was absolutely hilarious. I just couldn’t stop laughing. It’s always great to come back to this small town and it’s great to see old friends as well. It always brings a smile to my face.

Thank you to Natasha Madison and The Author Agency for the ARC of Falling For Her. Please always check the author's socials for trigger warnings before jumping into any book. FYI, there might be spoilers ahead.

Falling For Her is a small town romance, single dad x nanny romance between a big city rich girl who has never worked a day in her life and a small town single dad who is also a detective. I read this on both Kindle and audio. Right off the bat, I loved the audio version so much more!! The narrators were two of my favourites and absolutely brought these characters to life…Teddy Hamilton and Samantha Brentmoor…SAY LESS.

I loved our FMC Finley, she is sassy, fancy, carefree and outspoken. Whilst dealing with her own set of issues, she reads as a breath of fresh air and has a beautiful relationship with the MMC's son. Lincoln (MMC) is a bit grumpy and super protective of anyone around him. Together they have good banter and from their first meeting they have clear chemistry. I felt that even though their first kiss happened after the 50% mark it lacked the palpable tension and yearning that I love reading about. There is also a slight high stakes element to the story where he save her, and given how protective Lincoln is, it felt very true to his character.

This was an easy read that at times felt like it dragged, but a fun time nonetheless. If you love a small town, single dad x nanny romance I definitely recommend the audio version.

Oh my heart! Falling for Her by Natasha Madison was a witty and swoony small town romance with a light touch of suspense that had me hooked from start to finish. I couldn’t get enough of Finley and Lincoln’s opposites attract tension filled chemistry that had me longing these two to give into the perfect f*ck it moment, and wowza did these two deliver.

Samantha Brentmoor and Teddy Hamilton perform this audiobook in dual narration, and both could not have been more perfect voicing Finley and Lincoln. Samantha’s upbeat, spirited voice gave Finley the right amount of sass and strength to leave her past behind and try something new. Teddy’s warm, amiable tone was inviting and charming, giving life to Lincoln. Both narrators had the cutest kid voice for Lincoln’s son, Asa. Plus, the slow burning chemistry between Finley and Lincoln was magnetic and undeniable.

Overall, I loved this book. If you are a fan of a small town romance with a hot detective single dad, a feisty trust fund baby turned nanny, an adorable son, matcha mishap meet cute, new job opportunities, close proximity, park play dates, tension filled banter, fishing hook situations, family lake outings, suspicious activity, horseback rides, slow burn spice, intimate conversations, dangerous encounters, love declarations, and a HEA that is worth falling for, then you will love Finley and Lincoln’s story. I always look forward to more from Natasha Madison.

What a welcome back to my favourite small town! I absolutely devoured this book and audio. The narrators (Samantha Brentmoore and Teddy Hamilton) were spot on again as Finley and Lincoln.
Finley, wow did my heart go out to her. Her cheating husband was honestly the worse and her running away from him whilst fighting for a divorce was the best thing she could have done because there she had Collins and ended up meeting Burke and Asa of course. I absolutely loved Finley and Asa’s relationship and their adventures together - it was beautiful to read.
Lincoln, divorced father of two who’s ex wife is marrying the man she cheated on him with, has sole custody of Asa for a month whilst she goes on honeymoon and needs a nanny - in comes Finley - never worked a day in her life, doesn’t cook, doesn’t clean and definitely does not do laundry 🤣 IYKYK
Together these two love to wind each other up, but their chemistry is bubbling and I loved it when they finally gave in.
Lovely read and listen. To be honest I wanted more of them but also wanted more resolution to the ex-husband.
Thank you so much to Natasha and the team at The Author Agency for this eARC and ALC in exchange for my honest review

4.5 stars for me.

It was such a fun audio, had me laughing in some parts.Don't get me wrong there was also some scary stuff involving Finley soon to be ex-husband who don't want to let go. Lincoln and Finley crash from the first meet, but when he didn't have a choice,he hired her as a nanny for a month,to help take care of his son while he have to work.Finley, just go away until her husband move out,so being a nanny is a opportunity for her to have somewere to live.So what that she pretend to know how to cook,or doing laundry,or more important how to take care of a child. That parts were fun, everything she googled, and not everything work's out as planned. The attraction and tension between Finley and Lincoln was great and the spice really scorching.Beside that I would say it has also sweet moments, and the epilogue was soooooo cute,I'm happy how things work out.My first book by this author and hope to read more.

If you looking for small town, single dad and nanny romance I would recommend this one, while emotional it was also fun.

Finley's life is falling apart with a short lived failed marriage and husband that is demanding a lot to agree to a divorce, she escapes by going to visit her best friend, Collin.

While there, she gets a job as a nanny for single dad, Lincoln Burke and his son, Asa. Lincoln and Finley has a great disastrous meet cute before the job interview and they start off very contentious.

I love how their relationship goes from both bickering at each with major attraction undertones. The adventures that Asa and Finley gets into was a lot of fun.

There's an element of mystery to the story that added interest to the story. I also enjoyed seeing Theo and Collins from the previous book and the quaint town.

I am looking forward to Hudson and McKennna's story next.

How Natasha out does Natasha is beyond me because I know I'm like a broken record at this point but this is one of Natasha's BEST BOOKS!!! I COULDN'T STOP. literally. i checked out of all life responsibilities for a day and read this in one sitting that's how into this book I was. My heart ached for Finley because wdym THAT cheated on HER? ew. that's insane. but whats more insane is what he puts her through!!! like girl, no one deserves a HEA more than she did!

this book will have you screaming and crashing out but also LOLing because seeing Finely be a nanny to the most perfect little guy was hilarious since you know she has no idea how to cook, or clean, or watch a kid but no worries she can google her ass off lolol.

ALSOOOO!!!!! the banter between Finley and Lincoln? STOP IT. IT'S PERFECT. IMMACULATE. I WANT IT 20 MORE TIMES.
You could just feel how exhausted by her he was but also how obsessed he was with her and well like i get that because I just know that's how my husband feels about me hahaha.

This was such a cute read, and I absolutely adore Finley! She was so funny, and I loved every single time she gave Lincoln a hard time. I don’t think he always knew what to do with her, but he was completely enamored with her all the same. And the way she was with his son was so sweet. She fit into their lives so naturally, it felt like she had belonged there all along.

I also really enjoyed the added suspense and was eager to see how everything would tie together. Teddy Hamilton and Samantha Brentmoor were fabulous as always, and they absolutely nailed the dynamic between Lincoln and Finley. From their very first meeting to the moment their relationship blossomed into something more, I loved hearing them together. This was such a fun, sweet read with just the right amount of suspense, and I enjoyed every single minute of it!

Finley Westbrook never needed to work a day in her life but after serving her husband divorce papers she doesn’t feel safe at home. Lincoln Burke needs a nanny for a month and nothing more. Finley would be the perfect option if she cooked, cleaned and didn’t push every button Lincoln had. They did not have the best introductions to each other but can they get along just so she has a place to stay and he has someone to watch his son? Maybe this grump will actually see Finley in a new light. What a fun small town romance mixed with a little mystery between a cop and an uptown woman. Their banter is spot on and I loved all their interactions including with his son Asa. Sometimes the one you least suspect is the one you’ve been waiting for. Told in first person and dual POV.

🌶️🌶️🌶️ 3 Chili Peppers

Falling for Her by Natasha Madison
Series: Falling series
Narrated by: Teddy Hamilton & Samantha Brentmoor
Format: ALC/Audiobook
Runtime: 10 hours, 30 minutes

This was my first Natasha Madison book, and I absolutely DEVOURED it. Five freaking stars. I loved Lincoln. I loved Finley. I loved the family dynamic, the banter, the small-town setting honestly, I loved everything about this book.

Finley Westbrook’s life has completely blown up. After only three months of marriage, she’s trying to divorce a cheating husband who seems far more interested in her family’s money than he ever was in her. Finley grew up incredibly wealthy but also incredibly lonely. Her parents sent her off to boarding school when she was young, and while her grandparents gave her the love and family she desperately needed, she lost them in her early twenties. Now she’s basically on her own and desperately needs an escape.

Enter Lincoln Burke.

Lincoln is a grumpy, divorced detective and single dad who suddenly needs a live-in nanny for his eight-year-old son while his ex-wife leaves for her honeymoon. Finley somehow ends up being the answer to his problem.

Except this woman has NEVER had a job.

She can’t cook. She can’t do laundry. She doesn’t know how to take care of a house. She’s had practically everything done for her her entire life, and I genuinely thought I wasn’t going to like her.

I WAS SO WRONG.

Finley completely won me over. She’s strong, witty, sarcastic, outspoken, and absolutely refuses to take anyone’s crap. She knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to say exactly what she’s thinking or demand what she needs.

But what made me really love her was how willing she was to try.

She watches YouTube videos. She Googles how to take care of an eight-year-old. She attempts the laundry. She attempts to cook and listen, the girl REALLY cannot cook. But she keeps trying. She doesn’t care if she fails spectacularly; she gets back up and figures out another way.

Watching her slowly become part of Lincoln and his son’s life was EVERYTHING. I absolutely loved the family dynamic and seeing Finley experience this kind of connection and belonging.

And then there’s Lincoln.

Grumpy single dad Lincoln Burke had me from the beginning. He’s structured, responsible, protective, and completely unprepared for the hurricane that is Finley entering his perfectly ordered life.

The banter between these two was AMAZING. Their personalities play off each other so perfectly, and I loved watching them bicker while desperately trying to ignore the chemistry building between them.

This is definitely a slow burn. The spice doesn’t really hit until around the 60% mark, but I didn’t even care because the buildup was SO GOOD. Watching Lincoln and Finley fight their attraction and eventually their feelings was one of my favorite parts of the entire book.

And once that slow burn finally catches fire?

HELLO. 🌶️🌶️🌶️

There is also a little mystery and suspense woven underneath the romance as danger starts creeping closer to Finley. I really enjoyed how that storyline gradually unfolded without ever overpowering the romance or family aspects of the story.

The pacing was also pretty much perfect for me. Nothing felt rushed, but nothing felt unnecessarily drawn out either. The romance, humor, emotional moments, family dynamics, suspense, and spice all had room to breathe. It was just so well balanced.

And I HAVE to talk about this audiobook because it was FREAKING AMAZING.

Teddy Hamilton and Samantha Brentmoor absolutely crushed this narration. I LOVE when these two work together. They are easily one of my favorite narrator pairings, and their chemistry together is just so freaking good.

They brought Lincoln and Finley to life perfectly. The banter, emotional moments, tension, humor, and spice all HIT. Teddy was everything I wanted for Lincoln, and Samantha was absolutely perfect for Finley’s strong, sarcastic, slightly chaotic personality.

I already love both of these narrators individually, but together? They’re probably my favorite duo to listen to. If you’re an audiobook reader, I HIGHLY recommend the audio for this one. The narration took an already five-star story and made the entire experience even better.

I laughed. I swooned. I fell completely in love with these characters.

If you’re a fan of Laura Pavlov or Catherine Cowles, I definitely think this is one to pick up. It gave me that same combination of small-town romance, family, emotion, banter, a protective hero, and a little bit of suspense that I absolutely eat up.

Five freaking stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Natasha Madison officially has a new fan because I will absolutely be reading more from her. And give me Teddy Hamilton and Samantha Brentmoor narrating together any day I am THERE.

When you’re sitting in the hairdressers reading a book and suddenly find yourself crying… it’s really not a good look! 😢 And that is exactly what happened to me while reading Falling for Her, book two in Natasha Madison’s Falling For series.

This book had me laughing out loud one minute and absolutely sobbing by the end. Honestly, I can’t remember the last time I read banter between two characters this good. The timing, the delivery, the chemistry — it was flawless and had me in stitches. But then Natasha Madison does what she does best… she turns the tables and delivers those gut-wrenching emotional moments that completely sneak up on you and have your heart in pieces.

And then there’s Finley. Oh, how I loved her! You really need to meet her to understand just how uniquely wonderful she is. All she wants is a divorce, but when her husband doesn’t exactly make that easy, her best friend invites her to Montgavin for a break… and that’s when the fun begins.

Because Finley finds herself becoming the nanny to Detective Lincoln Burke.

Oh, Lincoln… ❤️

Lincoln needs a nanny when his son Asa comes to stay for the summer, but he has absolutely no idea who is about to turn his carefully controlled life upside down.

Finley is sassy, sweet and completely herself, and the chemistry between these two slowly builds until… 🔥 it explodes!

And then there’s Asa. Watching Finley and this adorable little boy hit it off from the beginning was such a joy. The fishing scene? Hilarious. The cooking scene? Priceless. And the relationship that develops between them completely melted my heart.

Add in the sizzling chemistry, the laugh-out-loud banter and then those unexpected emotional moments that had me reaching for the tissues…

Natasha Madison, you got me again!

Beyond the Synopsis…

For me, this is where Natasha Madison really shines. It isn’t just about the romance — it’s about the feelings. The moments that have you laughing so hard you can’t stop smiling, followed by those scenes that suddenly squeeze your heart and leave you reaching for the tissues.

Finley is one of those characters you can’t help but fall for, and watching her find herself again while turning Lincoln and Asa’s world upside down was everything.

The contrast between the hilarious banter and those deeply emotional moments was what made this story stand out for me. I laughed, I swooned, I got completely invested… and yes, I cried in a hairdressers! 😂😭

Star: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

Falling for Her was such a fun, easy read and exactly the kind of single dad romance I love from Natasha Madison.

Lincoln is all about order, schedules and keeping his life under control, while Finley basically walks into his house and throws every bit of that straight out the window. She has never had a real job, has absolutely no idea what she is doing as a nanny, and somehow still manages to completely win over both Lincoln and his son.

I loved Finley. She is funny, a little chaotic, incredibly likeable, and underneath everything going on with her divorce, you can see how much she just wants a fresh start. Watching her settle into this completely different life and become part of Lincoln’s little family was one of my favourite parts of the book.

I also really liked the way Finley’s storyline gave her room to grow. She starts out trying to escape the mess her marriage has become, but slowly begins building something that actually feels like hers. She finds confidence in herself, starts figuring out what she wants, and proves she is capable of so much more than anyone might have expected from her.

Lincoln is protective, stubborn and determined not to blur the lines between them, which obviously lasts about as well as you would expect. Their chemistry is there from the beginning, but I loved that their relationship also builds through all those everyday moments of living together and taking care of his son.
There is something about watching a man who is so set in his ways slowly realise that maybe a little chaos is exactly what his life was missing. Lincoln tries so hard to keep his walls up, but Finley just keeps slipping through them, and the more time they spend together, the harder it becomes for either of them to pretend this is only temporary.

I really enjoyed the relationship Finley develops with Lincoln’s son too. It never felt like she was just there to push the romance along. Their bond genuinely becomes an important part of the story and gives the whole book that extra found family feel that I always love in a single dad romance.

The added suspense and danger gave the story a little extra edge without taking away from the romance, and once Lincoln starts falling, he falls hard. I loved seeing that protective detective side of him really come out when things started getting serious.

Falling for Her is sweet, spicy, funny and full of family moments, with just enough drama and suspense to keep things interesting. The opposites attract dynamic worked so well, the chemistry was strong, and Finley and Lincoln balanced each other perfectly.

Such a good addition to the Falling For Her series and definitely one for anyone who loves single dads, forced proximity, live-in nanny romances and a protective hero who never stood a chance.

Some books grab your attention from the very first moment you read the blurb, and Falling for Her was one of those books for me. The premise alone had me completely sold: a divorced detective and devoted father, paired with a wealthy woman hiding in plain sight as a nanny while navigating the fallout of her own failing marriage. It sounded like the perfect blend of romance, deception, humor, and heart—and it absolutely delivered.

What I wasn’t prepared for was just how much I would enjoy Lincoln Burke and Finley. Their banter was sharp, witty, and endlessly entertaining. Finley, in particular, had me laughing out loud more times than I can count. The chemistry between them was undeniable from the start, and watching their relationship develop felt both natural and incredibly satisfying.

Beyond the romance, I loved how many layers this story had. Lincoln’s role as a police officer added an engaging suspense element, while the complications surrounding Finley’s soon-to-be ex-husband, Davis, kept the tension high. Natasha Madison did a wonderful job weaving together romance, family dynamics, humor, and intrigue without allowing any one element to overshadow the others.

And then there was Lincoln’s son, who completely stole my heart. The family moments added warmth and emotional depth to the story, making it even more difficult to put down.

In fact, I became so invested in this book that my Kindle practically became my bedtime companion. More than once, I fell asleep with it beside me because I simply couldn’t stop reading.

The only minor issue I noticed was the presence of a few typos throughout the manuscript. However, this was an uncorrected ARC, and the author had clearly indicated that from the outset, so it did not affect my enjoyment of the story.

Overall, Falling for Her was an addictive, entertaining, and thoroughly enjoyable read. It combined romance, humor, suspense, and family in a way that felt fresh and engaging from beginning to end. I thoroughly enjoyed my first Natasha Madison novel and will definitely be looking out for more of her books in the future.

My sincere thanks to NetGalley, Blackstone Publishing, and Natasha Madison for providing me with an advance review copy. All thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.

We're back in Montgavin!

Isn't divorce fun? Lincoln Burke, resident police detective, has to find a nanny because his (cheating) ex-wife is about to leave on her honeymoon and he'll be in charge of their 8-year-old boy. Apparently nannies are a hard commodity in Montagavin. All this while a big case is mobilizing the whole police force.

Finley Westbrook, trust fund heiress, is dealing with the divorce from hell too. Her cheating, mooch of a husband has already cheated on her multiple times before they even reached an anniversary. Plus, the leech won't leave! So, she packs her bags and heads to Montgavin where her friend Collins lives. And for some reason known only to the Fates, she ends up taking a nanny job.
She's a disaster when it comes to any household chores but little Asa is happy as a clam with the new nanny. Burke is not so happy, especially because the nanny is temptation personified. She pushes all his buttons, destroys his laundry, tries to kill with furniture polish on the stairs but he just can't stay away. But her stay has an expiration date and danger comes knocking on their door to bring a little bit of suspense.

The audiobook, narrated in dual style, is a delight! Finley found a perfect voice in Samantha Brentmoor. She not only embodies the sassy, kinda clueless but extremely lovable fish out off water nanny with perfection but she can also do a perfect version of her co-narrator: Teddy Hamilton.  Teddy is wonderful as the dedicated dad who can't believe he's fallen for the world but best nanny ever.

I loved how Finley is not a caricature of the stereotypical socialite and it's endearing to see her find the love and the sense of belonging she's been yearning for all her life. I loved Asa - what a cute boy!  And Burke is swoony, especially when spit hits the fan. It was also fresh to have the FMC be the billionaire... while being the nanny! And she never flashes her wealth!

I can't wait to go back to Montgavin!

I HAVE FINALLY MADE IT HERE. 😂 I feel like I read approximately one million Natasha Madison books to get to this point, but honestly? I’m so glad I did.

If you have the time and want the full experience, I definitely recommend following the reading order on Natasha Madison’s website. There are SO many connections, side characters, and appearances from past characters, and knowing everyone’s stories makes those little moments so much better.

This one has single dad, nanny, small town, and slow burn, and I had such a good time with it.

Finley was easily one of my favorite parts of this book. She is sassy, hilarious, and had me genuinely laughing out loud multiple times. At one point I literally thought, I want to be Finley when I grow up. 😂 I also loved that when she didn’t know how to do something, she was looking it up and figuring it out as she went. It was such a small thing, but it made her feel so real and relatable. I also really enjoyed her backstory and getting to understand how she ended up where she was.

And Lincoln! The banter between him and Finley was so good. Their back and forth was probably one of my favorite parts of their relationship, especially with the slow burn. The spice was good once we got there too.

I’m also really loving that these books are getting longer. Give me all the pages, especially when we get more time with past characters and the whole world keeps getting bigger. My one complaint is the same thing I’ve wanted from a few of these books: I wish we got more after the conflict. I wanted just a little more time with them afterward!

Overall, this was another really fun addition to the series, and reading all those books beforehand absolutely paid off for me.

And yes, I already applied for the next book as an ARC, so everybody cross your fingers for me. 🤞🏻

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the advanced copy in exchange for an honest review!

Natasha Madison has given us yet another sweet, steamy, UNPUTDOWNABLE romance (with a smidgeon of suspense)! Falling for Her is the second book in the Falling For series and it definitely does not disappoint!

Finley Westbrook comes to visit her best friend Collins in Montgavin to get away for a bit. She removed herself from a bad marriage and is biding her time until the divorce is finalized. When she arrives in town, Collins asks her if she would interview to be a temporary nanny for a friend (Lincoln Burke). Finley has never had a job in her life and figures it could work out perfectly....she doesn't want to put her friend out by staying with her, since she's still in the honeymoon phase of her marriage and is pregnant with her first baby (and how hard could it be to look after an 8 year old?!)

As for Lincoln, he's desperate to find a nanny for his son, Asa. His ex is getting married and is going on her honeymoon and he needs someone to watch Asa, stat! He a reluctantly hires Finley (she's not exactly what he envisioned as a nanny....she's waaaaayyyy too attractive and sassy) but he really doesn't have any other option! Asa absolutely steals every scene he's in, right along with my heart and at one point had me crying my eyes out, I got so emotional (at which point I cursed Ms Madison heartily!!!)

I absolutely LOVED the banter between these two! Finley is extremely sassy and quick-witted and she absolutely drives Lincoln crazy! I laughed to the point of tears while reading some of the banter and texts! The chemistry between them is palpable, yet at the same time, it feels like a sloooooooow burn to get to the spice! It was totally worth it, though, because when it FINALLY happens...*fans self*

Once again, Natasha Madison takes you on a ride....from the highest of highs to the lowest of lows, but she does bring you right back to where you need to be....so in love with these characters that you don't want the ride to end! I can't WAIT to see where she takes me next in Montgavin!!!

🌟Rating: 4.25 ⭐️

Back to the small town of Montgavin. Lincoln, a police officer, has a pretty crazy schedule so when learns he will have his son, Asa, for a month, Lincoln scrambles to hire a nanny. Down to the wire with no time left, he is desperate so hires the sassy Finley. Lincoln and Finley had an encounter earlier in the day and that didn’t go very well. So when Finley arrives for the nanny interview, both of them are surprised to see the other. Finley may exaggerate her experience but again, Lincoln is desperate so he gets what he gets. Thankfully, Finley and Asa get along from the start, but it’s going to take longer for Lincoln and Finley to see eye to eye.

Such a fun story. Loved Finley and Asa’s connection. I think everyone can see the banter between Lincoln and Finley was leading to combustible chemistry. I liked the two together but definitely liked Finely’s growth as time went by. I feel there was a bit of a pacing issue, as the middle was thick and the end was rushed. So much emphasis was put on Davis and on Lincoln’s case and it was all a bit anticlimactic. Sorry. That being said, I still really liked this story and loved reading about some familiar friends in town.

Series:

1- Falling For You- Theo and Collins
2- Falling For Her- Lincoln and Finley
3- Falling For Him (01/12/2027)

✨May contain spoilers✨

Finley, Lincoln and Asa were just everything for me. I just know that whenever Natasha writes a book that I’m going to stop whatever I’m doing to read it. I devoured this book but when Teddy and Samantha narrate together, I just know I’m going to have a great time!

Finley is a trust fund baby and has never worked a day in her life. She has filed for divorce with her selfish, cheating husband that is just useless. A man that targeted her for her trust fund is just ridiculous.

The first time Finely and Lincoln met had to be one of the epic scenes and then to have her turn up on his doorstep for the nanny position they he needs due his ex wife being on her honeymoon. The ex is such a nuisance in my book and when she didn’t call Asa on her honeymoon, my heart broke for him.

This had me in my feels because the banter was everything. He’s so protective over his son that Finley and Lincoln definitely got into it. From the fishing to the horseback riding, the man had lost his mind but I was here for it.

The book had some mystery going on, Finley’s crazy unhinged ex and just all the cutest moments of Finley finally learning to do things on her own. The laundry scene had me laughing so hard.

But what really made me love this book was the beautiful relationship between Asa and Finely. I really loved Finley and Asa’s relationship. The way that this nanny and dad’s son relationship was played out was just perfect. He even let her in his tree house where girls are not allowed. So freaking cute!

Loved the epilogue and the bonus epilogue.

If you’re looking for a grumpy dad that doesn’t know any better, the cutest boy that immediately falls for Finley, and just all the feels, this book is totally up your alley.

I received a copy of this audiobook and this is my honest review.
