I adore this author and the way her mind just jumps feet first into whatever she imagines or her characters direct her to.
Personal opinion: I think the fae queen In her other series is much much scarier than this Empress Mommy.
I can not wait to see what her actual power is when the darn collar comes off.
I do get confused on which of B’s “guards/friends” are which as the names are mostly non binary. And again as I said in book one I truly wish there was an added glossary of terms and maybe family tree lines
