What starts as a marriage of convenience slowly turns into something tender, emotional, and SPICY 🌶️🔥 The chemistry between Quinn and Landry was so good, and I loved watching their relationship develop naturally while still giving us all the tension and swoony moments 💖🤠
Reading this as a parent hit me especially hard 🤎✨ Seeing the lengths Landry was willing to go to for his daughter and the people he loved felt so raw and real. The way the story touched on grief, sacrifice, and doing absolutely anything for your family genuinely pulled at my heartstrings. It really shows how far parents are willing to push themselves for the people they love most 🥹🤎
I’m definitely biased because cowboy romances own my heart, but the former bronc rider x filmmaker dynamic made this feel extra unique ✨ Overall this was such a cute, emotional, comforting read with the perfect amount of spice and I love their ending so much 😭✨

Instantly meeting Landry and his friendship with Tate gave me a whole lot of nostalgia of how I am with my son and my best friend. Trying not to laugh at things I should definitely not be laughing at when to children and their antics.
I love the connection between Landry and Quinn. There is some hot chemistry between them but they both won't let it be anything more at first. They both feel a pull to each other that should not be ignored. Landry has some pretty big walls up around him and his daughter. I don't blame him because he can't seem to catch a break and it breaks my heart. I honestly think they both need each other.
Hot damn these two are on fire once they come to an agreement on a few things 😉 From start to finish I was very entertained by not only their story to a HEA but the side characters and Landry's daughter. The way he is with his daughter but also how Quinn just fits perfectly with them too. This book gave me all the feels.
I love that an author finally used my name for good! Thank you daisy 💜

I absolutely devoured this book!! This book took me on an emotional rollercoaster that I will not recover from for probably at least 6 months, if not more! Quinn temporarily moved to Sable Sky to make a documentary about a super hot single older cowboy, Landry Vaughn, and his comeback to the rodeo, after a tragedy made him retire. He has the cutest little girl, Sadie who absolutely steals the show and Quinn's heart immediately. Landry is the ultimate dad and pours his entire life into his daughter and their lives. Without giving away too much, Landry needs to find a wife...asap...Sable Sky is not exactly a hot bed for singles. Quinn agrees and they head to the courthouse. In exchange for Quinn agreeing to marry Hot Daddy Landry, Landry promises unlimited access to everything she needs to make her documentary, including things that he said originally were off limits. Quinn decides she has some "demands" too 🔥🔥🔥🥵🥵, a win win for both. The chemistry between these two is perfection! Quinn is bold and confident in her sexuality and knows exactly what she wants from her cowboy and is not afraid to demand it. The dirty mouth on Daddy Landry does not disappoint! This is the sweetest love story! My favorite side character was Mabel, the owner of the Inn in Sable Sky. I really am going to need a backstory about Mabel. This is a must read for all Cowboy Romance lovers!

What she wasn’t counting on was first falling for him, then agreeing to be his fake wife to help Landry with custody of his daughter. The longer they spend together, the more feelings come into play. But as the end comes closer, what does Quinn and Landry’s ending look like?

I loved how easy it was for Quinn to say yes to helping Landry with Sadie, and who wouldn’t! She was such a curious little girl but also spunky and sweet. I do wonder, if Landry has told his in-laws years ago, if they would have helped with the costs or if they were just as stuck up then. I wonder if Quinn’s mom and sister moved closer to them or if Landry, Quinn, and Sadie visited California often. I also expected some inkling of news of an upcoming bundle of joy at the end as well, but maybe in the next book if they’re side characters.

Landry Vaughn? Yeah that man had me in a chokehold immediately. Former bronc rider, widowed single dad, emotionally shut down, and doing everything he can to save his ranch and raise his daughter after losing everything. Then Quinn rolls into town to film his comeback and the tension between them is instant. Add in the fake marriage setup and I was DONE for.
The grumpy x sunshine energy between Landry and Quinn was so good. She’s completely out of her depth in this small town ranch life but refuses to back down, and watching Landry slowly crack under her sunshine was everything. The rodeo setting made this feel so immersive and the emotional layers hit hard.

Quinn our filmmaking fmc doesnt go to Sable Sky looking for love. She goes looking for the opportunity to prove her ex wrong with her next film.
What both of these characters find though is a love and bond that is so amazing. And reading about that and their love story, amazing. Landry and Quinn might not be the perfect couple but theyre close. This was the perfect book.

Beautiful. This book was so unbelievably hilarious and sweet and just a really really good time. Quinn had me cackling from the moment I read her pov and saying thats right girl as she claimed her demand over and over. You see Quinn gets it and Landry is an incredibly smart man who understands his role/place. She might be the young one here but she absolutely had all the power and it was fantastic. These two started off fake but the beautiful relationship that bloomed here was genuinely so sweet and they truly became an adorable family. I dont want to leave spoilers so I'll leave it at, this will hands down become a reread for me.

This book had everything I want in a romance read. Grumpy/sunshine, emotion, fake marriage/marriage of convenience, single dad, forced proximity. Landry's struggles to keep his ranch above water when all his money went to his wife's cancer treatments was so freaking real. You'd do anything to save the person you love. So glad he got a HEA. The extended epilogue was so good! Tied everything up with a pretty little bow. This author is def going on my forever list!
