This was a good love story about a girl who is mute and has memory loss from an accident. She lives in an orphanage with three other girls and she just wants to know who she is. Then she meets a mystery guy. What does he have to do with her past? Does she get her memory back? You will have to one click this book to find out. Great job Brenda Barrett.

Dear Mystery Guy (Magnolia Sisters Book1)

Great heartwarming story with some twist and turns. Mrs Benedict is a charitable woman of God with a servant’s heart by making homes for girls. The last of the group of girls became very special to her, like her own daughters. The book follows their story as they reach adulthood. They all had heartbreaking stories of how they became orphans but, now quite as tragic as Della Golds story of physical abuse, abandonment and no recollection of herself or her previous life. Go on their journey. Beautifully written a real page turner!

Writing is a Mystery Revealer

This is a great read. I loved the flaws of the characters being utilized to show us obstacles and challenges don't have to define you, but can be the fuel necessary to become who we want to be. Learning to express ourselves and give our voices permission to be heard is a worthwhile exercise in life. Thank you Brenda for sharing Della, Hazel, Caitlin , Brigid, Patricia and Luca with us.

Everything there is a season.

She had an attraction to him and looked forward to seeing him on Thursday. It got the point where she went to where he lived and followed him to a wedding. Her journal getting send to by accident was meant to be. After that everything fell into place .Josephine true color came out and her pass.

Dear Mystery Guy

WOW! The Magnolia Sisters definitely took me by surprise. Even with that, this was an awesome story. My heart went out to each of the girls, especially Della. I loved the way all the characters and details ended up intertwining to give us Casey. Now to read book two. I can't wait to start!

Excellent read

Excellent read, I loved the characters and storyline. Della had a trauma when she was eight years old. This left her with amnesia and unable to speak due to a damaged larynx. She doesn’t know her true identity, but her obsession with a mystery guy triggers her road to discovery, recovery and love.

Oh my...riveting!

What a captivating story and written words! This was a compelling, pleasant and intriguing book. The author held my attention like in previously read series.

The story was so realistic that my emotions persisted from happy to sad and to elation. I hated for the story to end. I cannot wait to read the three additional books in the "The Magnolia Sisters.

I blanked everyone out to finish this book. Simply amazing. Brenda did it again. Had me sitting on the edge of my seat and turning the pages to see what would happen next. This one comes highly recommended. Hopefully, the next 3 will be just as great

Good plot

About ⅔ of the way through, I realized the awkward dialogue was Jamaican. Made it much easier to read all the instances of "I am" instead of "I'm"! Good story, not very deep.

Dear Mystery Guy (Magnolia Sisters Book 1)! Another great book by Brenda Barrett! We live in a world that could use more people like Pat. She was a person that wanted to help young girls. Della Gold did not know who she truly was. Della had a crush on a mystery guy which helps her to learn more about herself.

This was an interesting story but it wrapped up to fast. I wanted more explanation of the back story. I also wanted something bad to happen to Josephine. This was part romance - part mystery - part suspense. I will read more from this author.

Different and Fresh

As someone who writes Christian Romance with a twist of suspense, I enjoyed getting to know the Magnolia girls. I wasn't sure what to expect, but there were plenty of surprises that kept me turning the page.
