Love this book!! I need the next book in the series now LOL. 😝

I received an ARC for this book from the author Kate Sullivan and I was intrigued right from the start and the story kept pulling me in deeper to the point that I was so hooked that I couldn’t read anything else until I finished this book. Because I myself don’t typically like to know too much about the actual story, I’m just going to leave you with some major aspects and if this sounds intriguing to you then you should definitely read this book!

There’s secrecy, rival families, magic, magic wielding and unicorns!! a blood bond and a curse that is spreading throughout the land killing magical beings in its wake and a women determined to find her sister at any cost, and a favourite of mine, an annoyingly exceedingly broody MMC.

If you’re new to fantasy or romantasy I think this would be a great book to start your reading journey!

Thank you to the author for giving me the opportunity to read an ARC of this book!

Wow, I devoured this book, and I need the next one yesterday! I was hooked from the first chapter and when I had to put it down, I was constantly thinking about it and counting the minutes till I could pick it back up again. This dark fantasy had everything, magic, slow burn romance, unicorns! Emmy the FMC is flawed, yet relatable and tenacious. Esra is the brooding, guarded, handsome, stoic MMC. The yearning pull between these two had me craving their closeness. I also have to mention Magnus, the rich and love sick character who's character just get better as the story continues. There are twists, action, betrayal and some spice all mixed into this first book of this series. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves fantasy, or who is looking to dive in to the fantasy world.
I am so thankful to have been given the opportunity to read this ARC. Thank you Kate Sullivan for this opportunity

📖Arc Review 📖
It is written in blood

Emmy is a badass FMC. Esra is a deliciously gorgeous man! And Magnus is a love sick rich guy and spoiled. The magic in the world is dying out from the darkness and these two along with Magnus take charge to save it. Esra and Magnus finally get to put their years long plan into play but the twist don’t stop coming.

You get blood bonds, betrayal, hope, romance, rivals, lost family, magic, magic wielding, unicorns 🦄 and tons of action. Also lots of secrets and hidden agendas throughout. And a twist I DID NOT SEE COMING. There was so much excitement and anticipation build up in the story I loved following through it!

Esra will protect her at all cost 💙 everyone that is a threat must die.

I really enjoyed this book! It kept me locked in from the first page when Emmy showed her skills. I can’t wait to see how this story continues.

Throne of glass if Aelin was not trained in combat and telekinetic
This was such a fun read and I now need book 2 cause that cliffhanger, ugh.

Esra being Ares was done so well but I kinda saw it coming, along with him having magic.
I honestly really like Emmy, sure she can be a brat but she deserved the right seeing what she's gone through.
I don't like Paelyn at all, I don't trust her. She disappears after the thing with the ship and then just shows up when it's convenient and she has information, who is she?? How does she know Emmy's mom is after Ares? And I'm still not convinced she didn't send that guy to kill Emmy.
