Marcus has his life pretty much figured out at twenty five years old. He’s got his career on track, a nice house just outside of the city, and his lifelong best friend, Hannah, by his side at every turn. The only problem is that he has been fighting with himself to tell Hannah how he really feels. How she’s all he’s been able to think about since he was old enough to have those feelings. What he doesn’t know is that Hannah is facing the same inner battle with herself about him. She fantasizes about a life with Marcus.

Will Marcus or Hannah be able to tell each other how they feel about one another? Will they be able to make a life together or does fate have other plans?

* Cliffhanger*

A.M. Wallace was born and raised in southern Ohio. Between working full time as a Customer Service Manager and being a parent to a rambunctious toddler, finding time to write proves to be a little more difficult than it used to. Thankfully, she’s able to find a balance and continue her writing.

Her love for reading started at a very young age. The Boxcar Children was where it all started, and she never quit. AR Reading in school only pushed her that much harder to read faster and more advanced books. Her competitiveness came out when there were prizes and “winning” involved. Now, she reads anything and everything in her free time. (When she has free time.)

After having been a stay at home mom for seven months after her son was born, she finally decided to pursue her dreams and write her first novel. While watching reruns of The Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Handy Manny, and Doc McStuffins in her living room with her seven month old rolling around, the idea behind The Divided Series was born.

Now, two years later, Torn has been published and Ripped is on its way.

«Lo so.»

I just wanted to say that you don't have to worry, take your time, we'll wait :) wish you and your son the best xoxo ♥

THIS IS A FIVE STAR REVIEW!! GREAT DEBUT NOVEL!!! I received an ARC of Torn from A.M. Wallace in exchange for an honest review and beta read. I have to say I really enjoyed the story. The characters and the story line were well written and so true to life. Marcus and Hannah best friends along with Ericka and Chad. Well in comes Amy and Justin. Hannah and Marcus with feelings for each other even though they are best friends and have been basically all their lives. Neither one want to admit their feelings for one another. Well when you toss in some people in to the mix things can get interesting. What happens to Hannah and Marcus friendship? Can they survive all the "obstacles" that are sent their way? This is a fast read for me cause it was so life like and reminds me of just how kids are in highschool and college that the story just flowed and I didn't want to put it down. I am so lucky that I was asked to beta read this book and to give my honest opinion at which I have done.

I received an advanced copy of Torn from A.M. Wallace in exchange for an honest review! This a great debut novel!!! I was very impressed with the way that A.M. Wallace was able to describe the characters and in such a way that you are able to relate to all of the characters in the novel. There are many situations that Marcus and Hannah are involved in and once you think you have it figured there is another twist and turn. You will not be able to put the book down once you start reading it; I could not stop reading it. I cannot wait for the next book in this trilogy! If you like Cassia Leo, Miranda Kenneally, or Jennifer Echols this is definitely a book you should pick up and read! I have thoroughly enjoyed reading Torn and very thankful I received an advanced copy and cannot wait to read more from A.M. Wallace!

An ARC provided in exchange for an honest review.

I've had this book on my tbr list and have been waiting on it to be released ever since I first saw a teaser! I was so excited when I got the chance to review it, and A.M. Wallace did not disappoint! Torn is the story of Hannah and Marcus who are best friends. The only problem is they both have feelings for each other that are more than friendship, but haven't told each other. A.M. Wallace takes the reader through the journey full of twists and turns that Hannah and Marcus try to navigate through. I really liked the characters, especially Marcus. He is super sweet and sexy in a geeky sort of way that totally works! I can't wait read the second book in the series!

This book was so, so good! From the beginning I felt I knew exactly what I wanted to happen & who I did & didn't like. Everything changed multiple times throughout the time I was reading. By the end of the book I was completely unsure of what I wanted to happen with Marcus, Hannah, & Amy. The romance & the real life details helped keep me hooked. It was a true emotional roller coaster that I simply could not get off of!!

This story is such a heart wrencher. The story between Hannah and Marcus is so bittersweet. You will be rooting for both of them, and yelling at them, and oh so frustrated when their so blind to each others feelings. They have been BFF's since childhood, but with they walk away from each other to deal with their own significant others and those feelings? And a killer cliffhanger, but I want to know how it comes out. Will their friendship be torn apart?

If you love romance with a twist this is the series for you! Book one sets the scene nicely with some unique storytelling. You are on an emotional roller coaster ride during the whole book. You change your mind a thousand times about what you want to happen and by the end of the first book you still dont know. So grab a seat and strap in tight! You are in for the ride of your life.

I don't read NA like this ever because I am a awkward turtle and it makes me feel uncomfortable, but A.M. Wallace was sweet enough to give me an E-book copy of her debut novel. So I decided to give it a read. I don't regret reading it at all. The story line of this book was surprisingly really enjoyable. I liked the writing as if the characters were actually holding a conversation with you and speaking all their thoughts. It was in both Hannah and Marcus's POV. Depending on the chapters. The two friends have been secretly in love with each other since they met. I was rooting for them the whole time to finally just live happily ever after, but what kinda story would that be right? Of course there was some action. They both think that the other doesn't return the feelings in return, that they just want to be best friends forever. So they never bring it up and just hold the feelings to themselves. Hannah tries desperately to get her best friend Marcus off of her mind so she pretty much rushes into a relationship. Right from the start of that, I felt like this guy was bad news. Marcus wants to do the same, but he isn't as desperate as Hannah. But there is a new girl at work that he really likes...Will their lives stay the same or will they be torn apart?
The conclusion of this book is a definite cliffhanger and it makes you want the second one asap.
I recommend this book to people that love NA especially and people who love, romance and relationship reads. Anyone could give this book a try though and probably enjoy it.

This is book 1 in the Divided Series. Well. I’m not sure what to say here except to say the title is so perfect for the book. Hannah has been in love with Marcus for as long as she can remember. She’s been best friends with his sister, Erika, for years and he’s always been there for her. But she can’t tell him and he thinks of her as a sister or does he? This was a good book but Hannah is kind of wishy washy and I’m not sure if I really like her. Marcus has his good and bad points, too. They have good qualities but they don’t really mesh all the time. I hope that the next book has Hannah growing up and realizing that the world consists of more than just her. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book that I received from the author.

It is a good romance book about Marcus and Hannah who are best friends but also have feelings for each other that they dont share with each other. A romance with authentic suspense. A boy, a girl, both struggling with their friendship, their love, or both. Can you be in love with or just love your best friend? Torn equals new beginnings. Loved it, real characters, real meanings.

Wonderful story of friends and romance

Excellent story of two friends who love and live but go in different directions for a moment. Their lives and feelings become more complicated when one relationship ends badly. Can't wait to read the second book in the series by AM Wallace.

Maybe it would get better if I continued the series but I just can’t. I genuinely never complain about a character even if they have some major flaws but Hannah had basically no redeeming qualities to her to a point that I really hope she never gets with Marcus because she doesn’t deserve him.

This is my first book from this author. I absolutely loved it. Marcus and Hannah have been BFFs forever and both have feeling for each other but never admitted it. Now both are in a relationship and trying to juggle with staying BFFs. The ending was a cliff hanger so I can't wait for the next one! Definitely recommend this book to everyone.
