Rate this book
When the crew goes rogue, the stakes get deadly.

With Sebastian and Nessa out on their own, Jessie and the gang must join Austin to rally the shifters to their cause. The first a collection of open-minded alphas Kingsley knows well. All Jessie has to do is keep her people in line, and everything should go smoothly.

When has the Ivy House crew ever stayed in line?

Meanwhile, the mages face their own rising threat. Momar isn't like the Mages Guild--he's sharper, more ruthless, and far too close to uncovering their whereabouts.

As Jessie wrangles alphas and chaos, Sebastian and Nessa realize they've underestimated their enemy. They're in deep, alone, and this time, Jessie and crew aren't there to help.

Adapted from the novel and produced with a full cast of actors, immersive sound effects and cinematic music!

Magical Midlife Rescue is another reminder of why this series has become one of my all-time favorites. K.F. Breene has perfected the balance of laugh-out-loud humor, magical mayhem, heartfelt friendships, and just enough danger to keep the pages flying by.

The Ivy House crew absolutely stole the show in this one. Their wonderfully chaotic antics had me laughing throughout the book, and every interaction reminded me why this found family is so special. No matter how outrageous the situation becomes, they somehow make it work together, and I love every minute of it.

And then there's Edgar. I honestly don't know how K.F. Breene keeps making him even more entertaining, but his scenes were absolutely hysterical. Every time he appeared, I couldn't wait to see what ridiculous thing would come out of his mouth next. He adds such a unique brand of humor that makes this series unlike anything else I've read.

Beyond the laughs, I continue to love watching these characters grow and strengthen their bonds with one another. Jessie has come so far since the beginning of the series, and seeing her surrounded by this delightfully eccentric family never gets old.

Another easy 5 stars. This series continues to be the perfect mix of heart, humor, and magical chaos, and I never want to leave Ivy House.

I've been waiting for this one on Libby and it did not disappoint. Seriously I can't get enough of this series. I hope it never ends. Jessi and Austin are trying to rally the shifter packs to join their convocation while also trying to find their mages before something happens. As per usual Jessi's crew is a complete mess and made me giggle with their shenanigans. They do weird in their sleep. There's drama, laughs, and of course Jessi and Austin and their love. Oh and Tristan!
Not sure I am going to be able to wait for graphic audio on the newest one. Might have to grab the book.

Basic Plot: Jessie and crew seek to solidify their convocation and bring the mages back into the fold.

There was a lot going on in this book. Lots of battles, plotting, romancing, and wacky antics from the crew. Overall, I was mildly disappointed by the fact that we didn't get to actually "see" the titular rescue, only its aftermath, but I think there was already so much going on that describing that battle in full detail would just be too much. The wackiness of the crew is what makes these books for me.

I just adore this series. Each book is better than the last. And the quirky found family that is the Ivy House Crew is top tier. I’d love side novellas for all of the characters! Magical Midlife Rescue gave me laugh out loud moments as well as all the emotions. I hope this series never ends. I give Magical Midlife Rescue 5 stars!
