The art for this manhwa does not change all that much, so I continue the same praise as before. I'm loving it, and I wouldn't change a thing about it. So let's move on to the story. And what a story it is. We pick up from where the last volume left us with the cliffhanger. Only now, E-soh, of the boy band Yo-I isn't just content to torment Kum-ji but he has to declare his love to her too?! A serpent in the garden decides to rear her ugly head and puts poor Kum-ji in her sites, and what an enemy she is to have. This volume also finds Kum-ji helping out another band member from Yo-I who pays her back in a most kind fashion. No I'm not spoiling and yes, another complication arises as Kum-ji loses her cellphone.
This volume of Chocolat moves the story along at a nice pace, with Kum-ji having to continue her role of the sweet Yo-I fan girl. This one ends in an interesting fashion, I guess its a bit of a cliffhanger, since we know the other person means her no good, but exactly what happens, you'll have to wait for the next volume to find out.
Its just as gag filled, and full of drama and it even throws in more sweet moments with E-wan and Eun-Sung, who the manga constantly hint at being gay, which I find, utterly adorable. Kum-ji is still our temperamental, impulsive heroine and I have to say I wouldn't like her any other way. But even so, E-soh's declaration of love does leave her . . . a bit perplexed, and now she's spending time with E-wan, who is in the midst of a personal tragedy and acting totally emo.
You get more character development, as more characters are brought into the spotlight, but yeah, that means E-Soh has to give up screen time, and we find out more about Kum-ji's Aunty and our intrepid heroine even gets a makeover. Simply silly, totally love crazed and fun to read, I heartily recommend Chocolat for a quick fun romantic read.
