Badlands: The Doctor is a short story series that centers around Dr. Hartnell, a time traveling scientist from the year 2151.

A madman committing murders in Manhattan set the Hunters Cheyanna and her father to stop him. However, his plans are fare darker and sinister than most even imagine leading to an impossible result. Where the insane Dr. Hartnell ends up surprises even himself.

This story introduces readers to the strange and mysterious mad scientist Dr, Hartnell from the year 2151, who is the main focus of this series. Other new characters are introduced as well including the first glimpse of Roaming Bear, a character who will have a far reach into the Badlands.

Part 1 of a twelve part series of stories in which the Dr. Hartnell sets out upon a journey to the ends of knowledge and beyond.
