On Being A Dragon
Writer Harmony continues to impress me. Her ability to see and understand shifters and people is incredible, as is her ability to enable a reader to have that same level of insight. The dialogues between people and their bear--or dragon--reflect that same keen awareness, this time of the relationship between a shifter and their paired magical creature.
While the plot is not complex or unique, its depth and the unique resolution of the issues make it a story to savor. Plus, seeing Fiona again has me smiling! Now I want to reread the earlier series with Fiona, her sharp wisdom, and her profound care of shifter children.

The Bear’s Fiery Mate #4 04/09/2026
Estelle and Adara’s are on the run again but something is drawing them to Bear Creek. But Estelle feels they need seclusion to be safe. But something is definitely pulling her here. Leo just felt something that is guiding him through the woods. What he finds isn’t what he expected. His mate! But she different. Once he shifts to his human self he approaches cautiously to not scare her. And she is definitely afraid of something. It takes a lot of slow going to make her feel safe. But is not for her it’s for Adara. So enjoy the read and see what is the problem!!

Keeping her “daughter” safe could mean Estelle has to give up her new found mate, Leo. The dragon in her wants to stay and claim Leo’s bear as much as his bear wants to claim her dragon. Seeing Estelle learn to trust and decide what is best for her and Adara is amazing. And I loved seeing Fiona again!! The old dragon who works for child services is always where her nosy and meddlesome self needs to be. Loved this fiery story!!!

3.5 stars. Sweet insta mates with a hurdle to overcome.
No real highs or lows for me, just meandered along, though I loved having Fiona pop in.
Liked everyone, even Margaret. She had her reasons and didn’t know the truth about her granddaughter.
Leo was sweet and supportive as expected, Estelle was a bit brittle, but her background made me understand why.
Author has the wrong name at end of book, should be Spencer, not Leo, who’s story we just read.
Read through KU.

Bear Creek
The small town where everyone knows everyone is quite something and I love how one family is well known. I love all the books about Bear Creek and the love story of every couple featured. I can hardly wait for the next book to come out. I hope that when one series ends another comes about. I hope that Rachel gets a story too.

Leo and Estelle
And Adara too. Another romantic Bear Creek story. Estelle is on the run and she and Adara have arrived in Bear Creek. She have made their way protect Adara from being outed as a dragon shifter. Of course, the townspeople and Leo's family provide safe back-up protection too. Fiona is still in Bear Creek too and ready to offer her assistance.

If you need a book that leaves you feeling warm and happy, this is it. Wonderful shifter family, GMC with an adorable little girl, just enough dreams to ratchet up the tension, awesome ending.

Great series with another great book. The characters are loveable and unique the romance is hot and there is a happily ever after with no cliffhanger.

Love this Thornberg Series - from #1 to #4 the story line has been one that I have not been able to put down - it draws you into the story and you don't want it to stop - keep it coming Harmony - I am on to #5 and know I will enjoy it as I have enjoyed reading the others. Excellent reads.
