Camera Ready: A Dark MM Bully Romance
Greyson Park was being blackmailed. Or, extorted. Either way, the task he’d been assigned was so disgusting, he felt like a pervert. He had no choice though, not if he wanted to survive Thomas Hadley, his longtime bully.
So, he reluctantly took upskirt photos, blurry images of unsuspecting people in their most vulnerable state. Evidently, these messy photos weren’t enough to please Thomas.
When Thomas demanded better pictures, Greyson ran out of options. He had no choice but to take those pictures of himself. A skirt, lace, careful angles—anything to make it look convincing enough to avoid the taunts and the bruises.
He thought it would be enough to fool Thomas. Greyson just didn't expect for Thomas to like it- too much. Enough to try and find the person in the pictures.

Thomas Hadley honestly didn’t give a fuck about the upskirt photos. It was simply another way to exert his power over his favorite victim. Making Greyson squirm was his end goal, whether it be through these humiliating tasks or by cornering him against a wall to watch him tremble in place.
He didn’t plan on actually enjoying the photos. But, when Greyson provided the most gorgeous photos of a mystery girl, Thomas became hooked.
Pleats, panties, and soft skin. He was captivated, even down to the cute little mole on the side of her knee. Thomas had to have her.
Unfortunately, Greyson remained tight-lipped about who this girl was. He was frustrated at the show of rebellion, and was about to make his displeasure very clear.
Until he noticed the cute little mole on the side of Greyson’s knee. With that came a daunting realization. His mystery girl wasn’t a girl at all. It was him. Pathetic, timid, soft-hearted Greyson.
That’s when he realized how screwed he was. Because he should’ve been repulsed. He should’ve been furious enough to go up to Greyson, and end it there and then.
But instead, all he could think was how desperately he wanted more.

I thought this was going to be like Evan Barnes’ books, where the dark bully romance eventually turns into a real relationship, but nope.
I started reading it properly, but a few chapters in, I realized it wasn’t going in that direction, so I ended up skimming. Thomas does genuinely love Greyson, but his love is obsessive, possessive, and honestly pretty unhealthy. He still doesn’t really change except for realizing how much he loves Greyson.
And the ending cemented my thoughts exactly. Thomas still hadn’t really changed, and it left me hanging like the story needed a continuation. I wanted an actual bully-to-lover/redemption arc, where he grows and earns Greyson’s trust. Instead, I got obsession and possession.
The premise had potential, but unfortunately, it wasn’t for me.

Strangely I liked it. Maybe I’m toxic but I like it. This is my kind of book. Spoiler alert it does end with a cliffhanger so I hope we’re expecting part 2. This book is dark in a controlling way.

Ad essere sincera all’inizio mi aveva preso particolarmente bene la storia.
Uomo 🤝 lingerie l’apprezzo parecchio. La ship bulloxvittima può essere interessante se c’è una evoluzione emotiva del bullo che alla fine della storia… c’è e non c’è.
Per intenderci Thomas ha compreso perché Greyson è andato via, perché stava male, che è troppo buono per lui se addirittura spera sinceramente che possa innamorarsi di nuovo, cosa gli mancava ma alla fine decide che ugualmente lo seguirà a Yale. In pratica: tesoro non me ne frega che tu vuoi essere libero io ti vengo a trovare e staremo insieme.
Quello che spero è che sia un modo per dire che ci sarà un seguito della storia? Con un Thomas che capirà che controllare e pedinare e “rapire” una persona che ami non va vene magari.
Le scene hot sono molto ben descritte, sono anche parecchie e mi piace che sia stato graduale la loro conoscenza fisica. Niente sesso immediato con uno degli mc totalmente inesperto, meno male! Un attivo che poi ama anche il prendersi cura del suo ragazzo, e gli piacciono anche i preliminari. Applausi.

Ma la quantità eccessiva di scene è anche quello che mi ha fermata per un po’ dal finire il libro, perchè a parte quelle la storia non stava evolvendo.
Non c’è una spiegazione su come i due sentimenti nei ragazzi crescano, soprattutto da parte di Greyson che essendo vittima mi sembra solo sedotto dal piacere del sesso e dall’appagamento dei complimenti. Avrei voluto un approfondimento maggiore da quel punto di vista. Capire come possa un sentimento bello nascere per una persona che gli ha fatto male.
Tipo avrei tolto magari la seconda scena di bullismo di Marcus e far fare qualcosa ai due ragazzi, come un appuntamento.
Se ci sarà un seguito e spero di si, spero di vedere dei nuovi aspetti di loro. Incrocio le dita.

The premise of this book was great. I was enjoying
It but it switched up so fast. The plot was getting lost and it went from one thing to the next in big leaps. Not even because of the smut, almost like the author didn’t know where to go with it. If they made the book longer it might have made it more interesting. The ending is sad and I wish there was more closure.

Would’ve been a 5/5⭐️ but why you gotta make them highschool seniors. Like Thomas was way too hot to be in highschool andshit. The behavior is the behavior of a 18 year old rich boy
