Riley is a 17-year-old girl who’s been obsessed with the same boy (Will) since she was 11. CLAAASSSICCC!!!! When he actually starts to show interest in her 6 years later, Riley is even more enraptured. Except for one small distraction - Will’s best friend.. Josh. Sweet, sweet Josh! Riley finds herself caught between the ~bad boy~ she’s always wanted and the boy who only wants her to be happy <3

This was giving me all the nostalgia feels!!!! Laura’s debut novel is a perfect mix of the vibes you get from High School Musical and The Summer I Turned Pretty. Talented, quirky, musically-inclined teens involved in a dramatic love triangle!!! As an 8th grade teacher, I would absolutely recommend this YA novel to my students (especially my romance obsessed girlies) because it’s so truly age-appropriate. I’m excited for the next books to read about what happens between Josh & Riley!

As a sucker for a good rom-com, this had me enthralled. Great character development throughout, and I was pulling super hard for Riley the whole time. Excited to see what she writes next!
