Can You Find Her is an engaging thriller with an interesting mystery and enough suspense to keep readers turning the pages. The investigation portions are well-written, and the twists help maintain curiosity throughout the story. The Inspector and SI characters add value to the case-solving angle, making the crime elements more interesting.
However, the Inspector and SI’s childhood memories feel unnecessary to the main plot. Those flashbacks do not contribute much to the mystery or character development, and instead slow down the overall pace of the story. At several points, they drag the momentum just when the investigation starts getting exciting.
If those portions had been shorter or more relevant, the story would have felt much tighter and faster. Still, the book offers a decent suspense experience for readers who enjoy crime thrillers with investigative drama.

I just finished Can You Find Her? by Ganga Bharani, and this was such an engaging psychological thriller.

It’s one of those books where you’re constantly trying to piece things together, but the story keeps shifting just enough to keep you guessing.
What I enjoyed the most was how it put me in full detective mode. I kept forming theories, connecting clues, and second-guessing everyone… and still couldn’t fully predict where it was going.

Firstly woah !!!! What the hell did I just read ? I mean damn ! I wasn't expecting this thriller to be this good . Literally every single chapter, every single page I was hooked and I was so intrigued about the story that I gulped the whole book in just 24 hours . Also hats off to the author for writing this book so easy to read and beginner friendly.
So we have Nila and Sahana , who are from same college from same year but they both went missing and SI Vinaya is incharge to solve the case , but as the story unfolds, she gets to know that there are some people who don't want to get caught in all this but the biggest question is - How Nila and Sahana is related to each other ? Sahana is a village girl who is very simple and minds her own life and lives up to her parents expectations whereas Nila is a modern girl who lives with her boyfriend. What could be so common between them that they both went missing altogether ???
P.s. - This book is real beginner friendly thriller book . You'll love this book ( because I loved it 😉 )

I’m genuinely so glad I picked this up. It’s a fast-paced psychological thriller that pulls you into a tense and mysterious situation right from the start with secrets slowly unfolding as the story progresses. I really enjoyed how the suspense was built and how the narrative kept me curious throughout w/o feeling dragged. It’s the kind of read that makes you want to keep going just to find out what’s really happening. Finished it in 1-2 sittings. Always love discovering new voices and this one was definitely a pleasant surprise!!!!

A very well written crime thriller from Ganga! This is a sequel to the Inspector Viyanthara series however the author makes it easier for readers to pick this up irrespective of whether they have read you’ve got mail or not. She re introduces the repeating characters with their background story without being repetitive of the first book which is rare. What’s better than the previous book is ; this time the author is very patient on making sure that readers sit in the detailing to such extent that you literally can see yourself in the setting of the current room/conversation. I took my guesses throughout the book but every second chapter beat down my theory. So the way the story is designed , it’s a book that you won’t be able to put down. If you are as keen as me, I think it will give you a worthy sleepless night! Strong recommendation to read, recommend and gift to your thriller loving friends!! Looking forward to more books from Ganga!

This is a compelling read with truly amazing writing that keeps you hooked from very first page. I found myself perceiving the characters through the lens of their selfish motives. However, turned out to be completely wrong - and that’s what makes this book so powerful.
The story slowly unravels layers of surprise - just when you think you’ve figured out the characters and their intentions, the narrative takes an unexpected turn. The suspense keeps the audiences glued to the pages throughout. Well written by Ganga !

This short thriller novel moved a steady pace and the multiple POVs kept me engaged, but there was some confusing head-jumping at times. I wished for more descriptions/development of the main characters (appearance, age, backstory, etc) earlier so I could connect more deeply but overall the tale was intriguing with multiple suspicious details to investigate. Viyan and Naveen’s history added tension to their working relationship and I enjoyed seeing them grow throughout the book. The ending was unexpected and thought-provoking.

As an American, I thoroughly enjoyed reading a crime thriller set in India. The setting was vibrantly painted - down to the food the characters were eating and the customs that they were adhering to.
The story itself was very engaging. Two girls are missing - but everything is not as it seems. I really appreciated how the author laid out the timeline several times for the reader to allow us to go on the journey with the detectives. This one kept me guessing and I wasn’t expecting the twist at the end!

A fast paced read. Felt soo nostalgic to see Koyambedu, Tambaram and Trichy mentioned in the book. But there were few loose ends which were left unanswered.. The end was slightly predictable. The couple exchanges between Naveen and Viyan were cute. Looking forward to more in this series.

The book started off as a gripping and fast paced thriller, and I was completely hooked, I genuinely loved that aspect of it. The suspense and pacing throughout most of the story were absolutely amazing. However, I did expect a more impactful ending. While the conclusion was unique, it didn’t hit me as strongly as I had hoped. That said, the rest of the book easily 90% of it was incredibly engaging and well done. Overall, I really enjoyed the read.

The book “ Can you find her” is very well written, it’s gripping and keeps the reader guessing with relentless suspense, genius plot twists and a fast paced narrative. A clever thriller which will keep you guessing and will make you doubt your guess in the very next chapter. A page turner for sure.
I have read many more titles of the author Ganga and would recommend her other books too which are an easy read and will definitely be liked by all age groups.

It was after a long time when I finished a crime thriller that had me on its edge.
"Can You Find Her?" is a story that keeps you engaged from the beginning. What starts as a simple missing person's complaint, soon turns into something deeper and haunting.
Madhan comes to the police station to report a missing complaint for his girlfriend - Nila.
Palaniappan and his wife report another missing complaint of their daughter - Sahana on the same day in the police station.
Two girls missing.
Both of them were from the same college.
Could this be a coincidence or a beginning of something dangerous?
What happens further will only make you doubt everyone who is interrogated. I was constantly trying to solve the case myself but I was defeated by the author's brain again and again. However, I had some of my suspicions come true but I couldn't unravel the motive behind the act. I was blown away with the ending and equally satisfied.
SI Viyanthara and her team work impeccably to solve the case. They are determined to not leave a stone unturned. I loved the building of suspense and tension, there were subtle hints but also mystery of what could unfurl later.
I loved the chemistry between Viyanthara and Naveen - her junior. They have known each other since childhood and there are some moments of tension, the emotions that were buried somewhere safely, waiting to crawl out but their minds are stuck on solving the case rather than teasing their wounds. I would love to read more about them. Even though, their past kept coming between the story but it didn't interrupted the plot. It somehow blended so well within the story.
If you want to read a whodunit then you will surely be hooked to the book from the beginning. It's a short and light, beginners friendly thriller that surprises you with its twists and turns.

This was such a refreshing change from regular English novels. I loved how easy it was to read and follow, and the Indian-ness in the dialogues felt so warm and familiar.
And before anyone comes at me - I mean that in the best way possible, with a lot of pride.
Now, coming to the misogynistic comments and thoughts in the book… I rolled my eyes HARD. Applause to you, Ganga, for capturing reality so well that my discomfort could probably be felt in the next room 🤭
Apart from being an amazing whodunnit, it also taught me something new, something I had no idea about and won’t forget anytime soon. It’s both scary and disheartening. (Tried my best not to spoil anything here!)

It is a really solid short read thriller, that has clear dated chapters that allow for a fast paced read.
I found myself suspecting everyone of guilt and didn't work it out which is always a win for me.

Did I find her, or did I find 'her'?
I picked this book to read on a flight but the story turned out to be so gripping that I ended up finishing it by my return flight. It kept me hooked with its easy flowing storytelling, continuous suspense, twists and turns and an ever thickening plot - and what a remarkable finish. In the flow, it touches upon various social aspects as well and the familiar functioning of some of our institutions, while keeping the story moving at a good pace.
All in all, a very engaging read.

It kept me hooked with its easy flowing storytelling, continuous suspense, twists and turns and an ever thickening plot - and what a remarkable finish. In the flow, it touches upon various social aspects as well and the familiar functioning of some of our institutions, while keeping the story moving at a good pace.
All in all, a very engaging read.

The book jumps right into the crime and investigation. There’s no build up, which was nice. The simple writing was very easy to read and I was able to finish this book in 24 hours. The protagonist was a tough female inspector, which I always enjoy. I liked reading a book set in a different culture.

The story was quite interesting, police procedure, Viyan and Naveen's banter, the emotions, characters, storytelling everything proved to be very sharp and to the point.

It’s been a while since a book pulled me in this much, I couldn’t focus on anything else. Fast-paced, addictive, and perfect for getting out of a reading slump. That twist? 🤯… no spoilers.
