"The house was a disaster. This made it official. My mother had lost her mind."
Sixteen year old Paige Parker has had better years. Her father is dead. Her mother is an impulsive mess. And now Paige is stranded in rural Heather Hollow.
Her neighbors?
Ghosts. Vampires. Hounds of Hell. Mean girls on mopeds.
Oh, and one intriguingly hot guy.
Is Gabe enough to keep Paige sane as she and her best friend Amelia try to sort out the swirl of paranormal mysteries in her new hometown?

Charming story about Paige Parker, a teen who, after the tragic death of her father, moves to the small (fictional) Rhode Island town of Heather Hollow. As her grieving mother attempts to rebuild their lives through restoring a dilapidated farmhouse, Paige soon learns not only that her house is haunted, but the haunting is linked to the historical Mercy Brown vampire scare. While in Heather Hollow, Paige is introduced to small town life and people: the obnoxious Heathers, the mysterious Myrtle Thyme, and the handsome Gabe Goodacre. Paige also learns that her anthropologist father was more than he let on. Great start to what will be a great series.
K.C. Wilder knocked it out of the park with this one! An addictive ghost story with characters who are so realistic and relatable that you can easily align yourself with them and then a little romance to boot! What more can you ask for?!
I was drawn in by the awesome cover and ended up falling even more in love after reading Haunted. Finally something to replace the hole Twilight has left. So in love with Paige & Gabe!
