Great Bundle for a Worthy Cause!!!

Just look at that cover!!!!! Having that in my library was WORTH the cost :)

I may repeat myself in this review, but that only demonstrates how passionate I am about this man, and his very worthy organization.

The cover model. BT Urruela is his name and he is a very special man. He penned the Foreward that greets you inside!! It is poignant and gut-wrenching. I was in tears. The purpose for the author's donating, yes, giving their literary gems, was for a VERY worthy cause.... VETSports. (All proceeds from the sale of this book are being donated to VETSports) It is an organization that BT Urruela started up with a couple of other vets. After coming home from fighting in the War. Yes. He is a SURVIVOR!!! And after a few years of hell, which he elaborates in the MUST READ Foreward, BT Urruela decided to get his act together and do something, to help himself and help others!! This man has been on a mission, one that doesn't put his life at risk, but still just as important. He is helping OTHER Vets, with organized sporting activities. Veterans who are still suffering in all kinds of ways, and through this organization, VETSports, hopefully they find some peace too!

Now if that wasn't enough of a great reason to buy this, you also get introduced to 12 authors!!!! Some you may know and some you may not know but will enjoy. I have read, and really enjoyed about half of the books in this Anthology and still found it a great deal to get all of these stories in one bundle.

So, go ahead, CLICK IT, it is worth it and it is a worthy cause!!! Happy Reading

This Anthology is full of great reads by very talented authors. This is your chance to revisit some of your favorite authors or find some new ones to follow. Fearless has a Foreward written by BT Urruela that is very touching. I had tears reading his story and I am thankful for the outcome of his story. All the proceeds from this anthology goes to an non-profit organization VetSports. VetSports helps combat veterans to better their physical, emotional, & mental health through sports, physical activity, & community involvement. For this alone it is worth the purchase. I encourage all to pick up a copy and support VetSports. Thank a Vet/Active Duty member for their service. They sacrifice so much for us and so do their families. Thank you to the men and women that are serving and those that have served in uniform. I appreciate you all and everything you do for all of us everyday. God Bless!!

*review is mine(Missy55)from: Cage (Corps Security Book 2) (Kindle Edition)

Harper Sloan and the 2nd story about her Corps Security Guys is a great read, Give it a try. We know Greg from Axel when he helps Izzy. We learn so much more about him and his protection of those he adopts as his. Meli and Gage's story is a bumpy ride tht you love every bump along the way. On to Beck.

Thanks Harper Sloan & Good Writing

This box set isn't just for a great cause but it's also fantastic value for money. Thanks to this set I have discovered heaps of new authors and read a tonne of new books - all of which I've thoroughly enjoyed - as a result.

Only 3 of the books in this set are 100% stand alone books (the rest are a part of a series in some way) - so I took my time working through this set and each time I finished one of the books that was part of a series I went off and read all the other books within that series before continuing with the next author's contribution. It worked out great for me, I haven't been without a book to read in months and my reading list has grown in length substantially! :)

FANTASTIC collection of full length novels from a talented group of some of today's best in romance writers!! A great introduction to some authors whose work I was not familiar with as well as to some series I can't wait to finish.

So glad I purchased this, not only because I got so much great reading for the price, but the royalties are being donated to VETSports.org ~ a non-profit organization, who help combat veterans to better their physical, emotional, & mental health through sports, physical activity, & community involvement.

This review is for Cage by Harper Sloan and Throttle Me by Chelle Bliss

Cage by Harper Sloan

Oh were to start. I absolutely loved this book.....hot alpha guys, chic with attitude, then there is Sway (god I love him cracks me up).

This starts with Greg taking Nate to the Dr Office, as a favor to Izzy, and meeting the Hot nurse, Melissa, with Nate's puke all over his shirt. Nothing like making a great first impression. I love the fact Cage calls Melissa "Beauty" because after several run ins with her he still has yet to get her name. Melissa is great no whinny, wimpy girl here. She puts up with Mandy, who is Greg's old cray cray F**k buddy and seems to put her in her place on their first meeting. Which brings me to my First favorite line which comes from Melissa right after she puts Mandy on the dance floor at the bar and gives her a piece of her mind.

"You do not look at me. You do not talk to me. You definitely do not touch me. Now, get your ass off the floor. You look ridiculous."

Melissa has things going on in her personal life that she doesn't want to get involved with Cage but as we all know like any other great alpha male Greg is having no part of that. He gets her to open up to him and when she unloads, her family demons haunt him.

I absolutely love seeing the interactions between Sway and the guys. I was laughing out loud while reading the entire sidewalk glitter painting scene. I found myself secretly wishing there were more scenes with Sway. Seeing Greg interact with Melissa’s nephew, Cohen, the whole red cape and ninja scene made me fall in love with Greg.

This book took me on an emotional roller-coaster ride from laughing like a hyena to balling my eyes out. There were twists I didn't see coming and we meet a friend of Cage's...I'm going to have to find out more about that man. I loved how we get to see the badass and loving caring side of Greg Cage. I am ready to see more of these wonderful mysterious men in the upcoming books.

Throttle Me by Chelle Bliss

I so enjoyed City (aka Joey) and Suzy. I have to say as I'm reading this I'm thinking why does Suzy seem so familiar….It bugs me to the point I have to stop and ask my friends who have also read Chelle and they reminded me Suzy is friends of Kayden and Sophia from Chelle Bliss Love at Last series. Now all the piece fit. Sorry for getting off track back to the review.

Suzy is a school teacher that always follows the rules was the good girl and only dated nice guys. Suzy was on her way home after hanging out with her friend Sophia one night when her car broke down. City pulls up on his bike decides to help her out. After meeting and getting to know City Suzy has to figure out if she still wants the nice guy that she has had in her mind is what the perfect man for her is or is it City the tattoo, body pierced, motorcycle riding badass.

City co-ownes a tattoo shop with his brothers and sister and loves to hang out with the guys at the bar. Never one to settle down and always has as a bed to go to if you know what I mean. When he sees Suzy stranded on the side of the road he decides to help out. He finds out she has a little wild streak in her and keeps throwing surprises that he loves uncovering. Well maybe not a certain roll playing scene that got away from him.

I so enjoyed the dynamics between City and his brothers and sister. City’s mom is the best and I loved the respect and love the boys and their sister have for her even if she does get a little pushy with trying to get one of them married and have her grand-babies. This was a fun read and enjoyed meeting all the characters I cannot wait to read more of the series to get to know more of the brothers and the sassy little sister.

A favorite line

Ruined. It was the only word that came to mind when I thought of Joseph Gallo, a.k.a. City McPierced Cock.

What would it be like to be with a man like him? Every man I’d dated just didn’t work out. They were nice guys, but the spark I wanted was always missing. People think I’m a good girl, and I am, but my mind is filled with dirty thoughts that I could never share with a mate. I’d shared them with Sophia, but she doesn’t count. No one had ever done anything fantasy-worthy with me. I can barely speak the words that are needed to describe the things I want done to me, or that I’d want to do to another person in this world.

The last guy that I’d slept with was more the size of a party pickle. It was the most unsatisfying sexual experience of my life.

An anthology for a great cause, VET Sports

What a great way to honor those men and women who served in the military by bringing together authors and their stories. There were two that I had already read but quite a few who I haven't. I really enjoyed Shooting Scars, Where we belong and Sweet Home.
