Montgomery Ink Legacy #11

His Guilty Pleasure

Rate this book
There were two rules in our relationship:
We remain friends with the benefits.
And we don’t catch feelings.
Only I made a mistake. I started to fall for Dash Montgomery.
Now our secret physical-only time together is done, and we have to see if we can keep our promises.
He needs to move on. And I need to focus on my business and friends.
Yet when an attack happens close to home, Dash steps up and changes the game. I don’t want to fall for him and yet I know there’s no walking away from this. Not when he puts himself on the line and I finally can give in.
Everyone I’ve ever loved, save one, has walked away from me, leaving the shattered remnants of who I once was behind. If I don’t find a way to trust Dash—as well as my heart—the darkness stalking us both won’t be the only thing that breaks us.
His Guilty Pleasure is a friends with benefits, right person, wrong time contemporary suspense romance featuring Dash and Aly. Each book can be read as a complete standalone. An HEA is guaranteed!

Beyond the

His Guilty Pleasure has officially become my not-so-guilty pleasure! Carrie Ann Ryan had me hooked from page one, with passion that absolutely sizzles and emotions that tugged at every single one of my heartstrings. This author has such a talent for combining incredible heat with deeply moving storylines, and she has done it all over again with Dash and Aly’s story.

Friends with benefits sounds like the perfect arrangement for these two. They’re confident they can enjoy the chemistry, keep things uncomplicated and, when it’s all over, go back to being friends. Simple, right? Well, we all know what happens when feelings start creeping in where they were never supposed to be! And believe me, watching Dash and Aly navigate those unexpected emotions makes this one such a captivating read.

But this is Carrie Ann Ryan, so there’s more going on beneath the surface than sizzling chemistry and a friends-with-benefits arrangement. She cleverly weaves in a suspense element that you don’t even realise is unfolding until the story starts pulling you deeper in. It adds another layer to a romance that already had me completely invested.

And then there are the Montgomerys! They remain the heart and soul of this series, bringing their trademark banter, unwavering love and those wonderful family bonds that make you feel like you’re part of the family yourself.

Read it for…

* Friends with benefits that get deliciously complicated
* Chemistry that burns from the very first page
* Emotional moments that tug at your heartstrings
* A suspenseful twist you won’t see coming
* The Montgomery family banter and love we all adore

My WOB65 Verdict: Carrie Ann Ryan has delivered another fabulous Montgomery romance that brings the heat, the heart and a little suspense to keep you turning those pages. Dash and Aly prove that sometimes the feelings you least expect are the ones that matter most. His Guilty Pleasure? Absolutely no guilt here — just another reason to love this series! ❤️‍🔥

This book takes me back to why I started reading Carrie Ann Ryan. The friends with benefits, confident partners, keeping feelings out of the chemistry that is so obvious. Secret meeting, adding to the spark. The easy part.

Dash and Aly finding out they can not go back to being friends after they have “gotten it out of their system”. As they figure out what to do with these new feelings. Because it is Carrie Ann Ryan, this gets messy and complicated. Add in the Montgomery’s, now we have this cornerstone familiy providing the banter, laughs and unconditional love and support.

As Aly finds some troubling issues, Dash jumps in to help. In front of the family, now the secret might be out. Carrie Ann Ryan is a master of weaving suspense into her books. By the time the trouble gets to nail biting status you are in the middle of it.

His Guilty Pleasure is not a heavy as some of her recent books, but a fabulous read.

Thank you to the Author for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review

This one was interesting, more so when you read the note by the author at the end, where she said she wanted to write a book where it starts in the middle and they have to figure things out. That really is what happens in this one. You can see Dash and Aly are really into each other from the start, but split because it seems like they weren't ready to take things further or go past their friends with benefits situation. Of course life starts lifeing and they are forced to figure things out. Even with the bump at the end, it didn't stop them. I think had Dash been 10 minutes later to when he showed up, things would have gone different at the end. Instead he came upon Aly stunned, trying to work things out in her head. It was nice to see how things ended for the couple, happy and secure where things stood for them.

Dash & Aly are in a hot fwb situation that is very on the low. No one knows about them, to the world they're just friends. Each has their own reasons for the no feelings rule, and it's worked for them - so far. Until it doesn't. But when something horrible happens, the fog in Dash's head clears and he knows now is the time for them, the time for him to shout to her, to the world, how he really feels about her.

Dash and Aly had such different upbringings that it's no wonder they couldn't get on the same page once feelings developed. He was adopted by two amazing dads, and had them and their love as role models, and Aly had no one aside from her grandpa. Most of the people who were supposed to love her, abandoned her, and that abandonment left her with scars. She kept everyone at a distance, didn't know what to do with feelings, and it did any of her relationships harm. Thank God for some serious talks between Dash and his dads, and their support and the whole crew of Montgomerys, and Dash's determined persistence. When the feelings developed between the two, neither was sure of how to deal. There was some angst, but not ott, and eventually Aly succumbed to her own feelings, and knowing she could lean on Dash, could depend on him to always be there. Fwb has never been so steamy, and ultimately, so sweet, as Aly and Dash fell in love.

It is always fun to see the Montgomery family living their second generation life.

Dash and Aly have a secret arrangement that works for them and keeps them out of the typical Montgomery gossip fodder. Friends with benefits only, no feelings beyond friendship. But when Aly realizes she has started developing deeper feelings, she breaks off their arrangement, vowing to get over her feelings and put their friendship back to the way it was before. But when Aly faces a series of problems, Dash jumps in front of the rest of the family to help her back on her feet, and she has to decide if she is willing to trust that he isn’t going anyway either.

I loved these two and the friendship they based their physical relationship on. Aly has a hard time trusting, and had hangups about more serious relationships and being left behind that kept her at arms length.

This definitely felt lighter than some of Carrie Ann’s more recent books and I had a lot of fun with the back and forth between Dash and Aly. I found it humorous that they thought they were being so secret, but in true Montgomery fashion, the secrets don’t last long. The danger/threat aspect was on the predictable side, but it was nice that it didn't become the center of their relationship or the reason they came together again. And I loved the way Dash worked to gain Aly’s trust beyond the friendship they had. (And boy did he have to work for it!)

As I said in the beginning, I always love coming back to the Montgomery world. They are taking over the Front Range (and the world) one book at a time!

I read an arc version of this book.

Dash and Aly

This story that follows Aly and Dash has the slow burn in the meaning of falling in love and a relationship. Both characters have a -friends with benefits-situationship which should be an easy thing for them. Something simple without feelings attached and being able to walk from when it is over and be simply friends again. So as always that is easier said than done. Because here too, of course feelings are getting developed.
But Aly and Dash both are hesitant characters who each are having their reasons for that. Aly is being left by almost everyone in life who should take care of her. So when she realises that she feels more than friendship for Dash she breaks everything up to get over it.
But of course we get a little suspense in here and when Aly needs help, Dash is there for her, along with his family. And finally gets his head on straight. And all Aly needs is some faith in Dash that he feels the same and is there for her and will stay.

If I hadn’t needed to sleep on Friday, I would’ve finished this. If I hadn’t had life happening on Saturday, I would’ve finished this.

I could have finished this in one sitting. I’m obsessed. I don’t know what to even say beyond HOLY SHIT.

I loved this. I annotated my first actual time while reading this and ran out of tabs. 🤣

I’m going to spend 2027 reading Carrie’s entire backlog. I need to meet all of my new book boyfriends.

Thank you, Carrie Ann Ryan, for sending this ARC my way. I will be recommending this book until I can’t speak anymore.

Friends with benefits for Dash and Aly seem to work perfectly until one starts catching feelings. So friends they will be until the unthinkable happens.

Seems there is someone who does not want them together. Will they be able to realize the manipulation is working against them before anything worse happens?

Enjoyed the wit, the banter and how they eventually found what they never thought they’d want.

Dash and Aly are friends with benefits until feelings get involved. These two have the perfect arrangement but they can't fall for each other so they go their seperate ways. Then Aly gets hurt and Dash has to face the fact that he wants to be the one she can rely on. There is a touch of suspense with who hurts Aly but overall this is two people finding their way through a complicated relationship and learning that it is ok to trust. A steamy romance with lots of Montgomery family cameo's.

His Guilty Pleasure is the eleventh book in the Montgomery Ink Legacy series and follows Dash as he falls hard for his friends with benefits partner, Aly.

Dash was adopted by his two dads when he was little. They have raised him as a Montgomery his entire life. He works with his cousins as the face of Montgomery Construction. He attends the galas, grand openings and other social events, promoting the company and their work.

Aly was raised by her grandfather. As a young girl, her parents divorced. Her mother got involved in drugs and her father just walked away. He remarried, had a new family and started a new life that did not include her. Her mother only shows up when she needs something, usually money. Her father never shows up. She started her own company growing and selling plants to companies like Montgomery Construction. She has built a relationship with them and supplies plants for many of their projects. She works hard and enjoys getting her hands dirty with her work.

Dash and Aly met and decided to scratch an itch with each other. It was supposed to be one time, but it was not enough. Now they are friends with benefits. But no one can know. So they sneak around for private moments to enjoy each other's bodies. Until mother nature decides to pull a fast one on her.

When Aly receives an unexpected scare that turns out to be just a scare, and nothing more, she decides it is time to end things with Dash. It was only supposed to be one time, not ongoing. She does not want a boyfriend. She has too much going on with her business. Dash is not surprised, but a little heartbroken. He will not admit it, but he was falling for her.

But when Dash hears that Aly is in the hospital and why, he is on the move. He is going to be the one to take care of her when she goes home. He is burning the candle at both ends, but it is for Aly. He would do anything for her. He may not have realized it yet, but his family has, that he is in love with her.

It is unclear what happened since Aly is unable to remember. And since there has been no other threat to her, and she is healed, she starts back to work and going on activities with the Montgomery's. When they run into Dash's ex, Madison, while playing paint ball, everyone seems to get along and no hard feelings. Madison has moved on and seems happy. Dash and Aly are friends having a good time. Is it possible there is more going on behind the scenes?

But when a mysterious email is sent to Aly by an unknown person, she is stunned to see Dash with Madison. And it is a recent picture. How could he cheat on her with his ex? When he sees what has upset Aly, he cannot understand how she could believe it is real. It is a fabrication. But she is not thinking clearly. So he leaves to cool off. But is that really the right thing to do?

When danger comes knocking on Aly's front door, no one is there to protect her. And her guard is down, allowing the culprit easy access to his target. Will Dash be in time to save her? Or will he lose her forever?

Dash and Aly have a strange relationship. No strings, keep it quiet, but be at my beck and call. Both have their reasons. But when things start occurring, true feelings start to shine bright. I thought these two were just friends with benefits until Dash admitted she has been the only for him since he met her. But she only wanted casual. That had to be hard on him. Loving her when she did not love him back.

Aly grew up in such a strange family dynamic it is no wonder why she did not want to love anyone. Her mother left her and her father. Her father left her and created a new family. All she had was her grandfather. Although he loves her, he is older and does not show emotion the way she needs to see it. It is heartbreaking to watch someone who is too afraid to love for fear they will leave you.

Dash is so lucky to have two dads who love him unconditionally and do not hold back when telling him he is being a hard headed mule. Killian and Archer come at it from different angles, but have the same message. One is just more delicate than the one who is blunt.

Dash and Aly are both so lucky that they have the Montgomery family behind them. From Ford figuring out who the threat is to Dash's family making sure the police are called and en route while he rushes off to protect her. They always say it takes a village. In this case it is absolutely true.

Aiden Snow proves, yet again, why he is my all time favorite male narrator. He can do gruff and growly and then pull out the smooth talking Casanova. CJ Bloom brings Aly to life with all of her family drama, danger drama and love life drama.

Recommendation: 🌕🌕🌕🌗 - (Out of 5 🌕)

Genre: Contemporary Romance, Dark Romance, Romantic Suspense, Friends to Lovers
Length: 264 Pages
Pace: Medium
Moods: Romantic, Steamy, Entertaining, Wonderful Characters, Suspenseful
Release Date: October 26, 2026

His Guilty Pleasure is a very unique twist on the Friends to Lovers trope as the main characters, Aly and Dash, start the story already engaged in a steamy, secret hook-up while at the same time attempting to maintain a public friendship. Neither one is looking for a long term relationship or anything serious. For both of them, it is the perfect 'friends with benefits' situation. As long as they can keep the truth from their friends and family, everything should work out just fine.

Aly has trust issues. Her entire life she has been abandoned by the people she loves. Both of her parents left her, her father to start another family, her mother to live the high life. Romantic relationships have always ended with her being cheated on. Growing up with her wealthy grandfather, she never got to experience what it means to be loved. After opening her garden center that all changed. When the Montgomery clan needed a new nursery to purchase plants, they decided to make her their main source for everything garden and by extension 'one' of their own.

Dash has never been in a serious relationship. The most serious he has ever been about anything in his life is his career. It's not that he is opposed to starting something, someday, but for now he enjoys the fact that he can do what he wants, when he wants. The current situation allows him to get all the sex he wants, no feelings, and both parties are free to see other people should they desire. What could go wrong?

What I Loved:
Dash's Backstory: I love Dash's fathers and the backstory of how he was adopted. I love his relationship with his family. You come to realize that Dash does understand what a real relationship is all about. He knows that he wants that someday for himself. He also understands through the example set by his parents that a real relationship it is something he is not ready for in the here and now. This doesn't make him a 'player' per say, just aware of what true love is.

I enjoyed Dash and Aly's story. This story laid the foundation for future installments and 'wrapped up' past storylines with a big beautiful wedding.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I settled in with my early-morning coffee and Carrie Ann Ryan’s His Guilty Pleasure, watching two friends convince themselves they could keep feelings out of the arrangement. Thank you for the gifted eARC. When has “we won’t fall for each other” ever sounded like a plan that would survive contact with reality?

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨

Dash and Aly have friendship, chemistry, and rules that are becoming inconvenient. When Aly realizes she wants more, she ends the benefits before she loses the friendship, too. I understood that decision. Knowing you’re getting attached while pretending you’re fine with casual sounds exhausting. I have a job already.

Aly owns the Plant Nook, and the scene with her employees’ personal drama spilling into her nursery had me offended on behalf of the plants. Those poor things were just trying to photosynthesize. But watching her friends show up to help clean up the damage? That got me. She’s so used to bracing for people to leave that accepting help doesn’t come easily.

Dash arrives ready to help, too, complete with muscles and absolutely no shortage of confidence. I enjoyed his teasing, but I wanted to sit him down when his understanding of his feelings lagged behind his behavior. Sir, please review the evidence.

When Aly gets hurt, his fear and determination to care for her made the relationship feel different. There’s heat from the beginning—nobody is easing us into that—but his tenderness held my attention just as much. I wanted Aly to believe she could need someone without eventually regretting it.

Her grandfather was another bright spot for me, along with the Montgomery crowd rallying around her. Coming from a big family myself, I appreciated the mix of love, opinions, and very limited opportunities to keep anything private.

The danger adds tension, but Aly learning to trust someone with her heart was what kept me invested. This is book eleven in Montgomery Ink Legacy, though Dash and Aly’s romance stands on its own.

What makes a friends-with-benefits romance work for you beyond the chemistry?

Even though this is Book 11, it works beautifully as a standalone while still giving series fans that familiar Montgomery warmth and found family comfort.

I loved this book, it pulled me in from the very first page and refused to let go. I’ve loved the Montgomery series and the legacy series that follows.

This author has a gift for turning the friends with benefits trope into something far more complicated and emotionally charged, and this installment of the Montgomery Ink Legacy series is no exception.

Aly and Dash start with clear rules….. keep it physical, stay friends, never catch feelings and of course those rules shatter the moment real emotion slips in.

Watching Aly realize she has already fallen while still trying to protect herself, especially given her history of people walking away and leaving her with the pieces had me hoping this time it was for keeps.

Dash Montgomery is exactly the kind of hero who steps up when everything falls apart. The moment danger hits close to home, he stops pretending their arrangement is temporary and starts fighting for more.

The suspense elements raise the stakes without overshadowing the romance, creating a constant tension between the external threat and the internal one of trusting someone enough to let them stay. Aly’s struggle to open her heart again had me feeling every protective wall she has built and every crack that forms when Dash refuses to walk away.

What I loved most is how the story balances the heat of their secret physical relationship with the slow, inevitable shift into something real. The chemistry is strong, the banter is sharp, and the emotional payoff lands exactly where it should.

The guaranteed HEA feels right rather than rushed, and the way both characters grow through the danger and the vulnerability makes the ending satisfying in the best way.

If you enjoy contemporary romance with a solid dose of suspense, a friends to lovers trope that starts messy and turns meaningful, and characters who have to fight both external threats and their own fears, this one delivers.

I’m already missing Aly and Dash and already looking forward to whatever comes next in the series.

𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗽𝘆 𝗯𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿

The moment I received this book, I started reading, and I wanted to focus on nothing but devouring this story!

Dash and Aly had me hooked with their banter, the spice, and the chemistry between them. These two already had such a strong friendship, and I loved how well they knew each other, not just physically, but emotionally, too. They knew each other’s bodies, souls, and hearts, even when they were both trying so hard to pretend their relationship was nothing more than friends with benefits.

The whole no feelings, no strings attached situation was just waiting to get complicated, and watching these two deal with their feelings had me smiling. I loved seeing how their relationship developed and how Dash showed up for Aly when she needed him most. Their connection felt like so much more than physical attraction, and I was rooting for them to stop running from what was right in front of them.

And can we talk about the Montgomery family?! 🥹❤️ I loved the family moments, the cousins, the teasing, and all the time they spent together. Every moment they shared felt special, and I honestly enjoyed seeing that close family bond just as much as I enjoyed Dash and Aly's romance. The friendships and the way everyone showed up for each other made this story even better.

I also appreciated the emotional side of Aly's story and how her past affected the way she viewed love and relationships. It made me understand why opening her heart wasn't easy for her, and I wanted her to realize that she deserved someone who would stay.

Between the spicy moments, the banter, the emotional moments, the suspense, and a couple who already knew each other so well, this was such a satisfying read for me. Carrie Ann Ryan gave me another Montgomery story that reminded me why I enjoy coming back to this family. I wasn't ready to put this one down, and I'm so happy I got the chance to read it early!

I will never get enough of the Montgomery clan! This book features Dash Montgomery and Aly Bentley’s story. These two are in a very hot and steamy friends with benefits arrangement. Both agreed beforehand that it would last until one of them met someone they thought they could build a future with or just wanted something different. They also agreed not to catch feelings for each other and that they would keep it a secret just between them. Well, the secret isn’t so secret because their friends and his family are definitely noticing the sizzle between them. Aly is the first to realize that she did indeed catch feelings for her hot and handsome friend. In her experience, most everyone who was supposed to love her has abandoned or cheated on her. She would rather the relationship end on her terms so she tells Dash that the benefits part of their relationship is done. When he doesn’t put up a fight over that, she believes she made the best decision.

Dash was not ready to end the friends with benefits arrangement with Aly, but didn’t fight her on it for fear of losing their friendship too. It’s been months since they went back to being just friends and he is even dating someone else. Yet, the minute Dash learns that Aly was injured in an accident, he can’t get to her side fast enough. It is then he realizes that what he feels for her is much deeper than friendship. He struggles with how to tell her how he feels and finds himself on the receiving end of lots of advice. That’s something the Montgomery family (biological or claimed by the family) do well. They advise, encourage and support each other. Of course, they also nudge and tease too. The way forward for these two proves to be a tad bumpy and someone seems intent on targeting Aly. In the end, these two are finally on the same page and a happily ever after is in sight.

This scintillating book as my full recommendation.

Sometimes the biggest risk isn't falling in love. It's trusting someone enough to let them stay. This is at the heart of Carrie Ann Ryan’s latest release, His Guilty Pleasure, the eleventh book in the Montgomery Ink Legacy series. Friends with benefits? Sounds like a perfect arrangement until someone catches feelings! And when Aly realizes she wants more than friendship with Dash, things get complicated.

Meet Dash and Aly, best friends who have a friends-with-benefits arrangement. An arrangement that seems perfect for them. After all, they enjoy each other's company and have great chemistry, so keeping things strictly physical with no strings, no expectations, and definitely no feelings should be easy. Or so they thought! When Aly realizes her feelings have changed, she ends their arrangement, determined to get over Dash and return their friendship to the way it was. Easier said than done, especially when Dash refuses to let her face life's challenges alone. As he steps up to help her, Aly must decide whether she is ready to put her fears aside and trust that Dash isn't going anywhere. But someone has other plans for these two and made it their duty to keep them apart.

Aly and Dash’s friendship was the foundation of their physical relationship, and I enjoyed watching it develop into something deeper. Aly has a hard time trusting when it comes to love. Past hurts have left her guarded, and despite her growing feelings for Dash, she struggles to let him in. She prefers keeping him at arm's length rather than risk another broken heart. I understood her hesitation, but I also wanted her to take a chance on Dash.

And Dash? I loved how he showed up for Aly when she needed him most. He not only spoke about being there for her; he stepped in, offered his support, and showed her that she could count on him. His patience and determination made me root for these two even more.

There was plenty of chemistry, heartfelt moments, and drama to keep me turning the pages. I also enjoyed the family dynamics and the added tension from someone determined to sabotage their relationship.

Overall, His Guilty Pleasure delivered an enjoyable romance filled with friendship, family, love, and wonderful characters. I loved watching Dash and Aly navigate their feelings and work through the fears standing in the way of their happily ever after. Another lovely addition to the Montgomery Ink Legacy series!

What The Heart Wants!!!!

Dash Hart Montgomery, son of Archer Montgomery and Killian Hart ( INKED TEMPTATION ) was in a friends with benefits with his friend, Aly Bentley. They both had a mutual understanding regarding their situation. He just didn't count on his heart betraying him.

Aly Bentley, an owner of a nursery who knew that what was going on between her and her friend Dash Montgomery was only a physical thing...they make the rules themselves but now there was a problem. She found herself falling for him so she did the one thing she could to protect herself....she walked away from whatever they had going on, but her heart just like his wasn't playing fair.

As they both tried to move on, she stayed focus on her career, family and friends while Dash started dating. They stsyed friends but life had a way of throwing them together, no matter what. As danger surrounds her, Dash is there to make sure she's safe and sound. He also had to face his emotions heads on. Liked how his loved ones were teasing him while giving him some great advice.

I truly enjoyed the relationship between Aly and her grandfather, at least she had a blood relative who loved and cared about her unconditionally. It was beautiful to witness. Also it was a treat to see some old characters making appearances, it felt like a family reunion after some time away.

HIS GUILTY PLEASURE is the eleventh installment in Carrie Ann Ryan's MONTGOMERY INK LEGACY series. Oh my, what an exhilarating, emotional and jaw-dropping ride. The author had me hooked from start to finish. Such an incredible job. Wish I could give more than 5✨️✨️✨️✨️

𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐭𝐲 𝐏𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 is the 11th book in the Montgomery Ink Legacy series by Carrie Ann Ryan, featuring a spicy and emotional friends-with-benefits to lovers romance for Dash and Aly! It was supposed to be a secret, physical arrangement, but of course, feelings came into play, throwing a wrench into the works! Her passion for plants and his construction prowess gave them an extra workplace connection, beyond her connection to his family, making it hard for them to avoid each other. I was impressed by the depth of the emotion, the angsty tension, obvious chemistry, and easy banter that Dash and Aly brought to the table. The right person-wrong time angle was and interesting vibe that influenced the plot. When danger seemed to come for Aly, Dash had a major epiphany and stepped up for her. I always love the reformed playboy angle! As always, the Montgomerys came in clutch with love, support, comic relief, and plenty of wine and cheese! No one does found family quite like they do, and they are pretty handy in a suspenseful situation as well! I can’t wait for the next book!

The audio was narrated in dual format by CJ Bloom and Aiden Snow, who both did an amazing job bringing Dash and Aly to life with the emotion and chemistry necessary, as well as also embodying the large extended cast of characters that add to the drama and fun of this world!

I received an ARC/ALC of this book, and my opinions are my own.

A push-and-pull kind of heartache that steps out of the shadows, His Guilty Pleasure is temptation at its most intriguing. As the eleventh instalment in Carrie Ann Ryan’s gripping Montgomery Ink: Legacy series, this book delivers an exhilarating, emotional, and jaw-dropping ride that fans will absolutely devour.

The story follows Dash and Aly, who start with a seemingly foolproof plan: a strict "friends with benefits" arrangement with zero feelings attached. But when Aly realises she is crossing that emotional line, she walks away to protect her heart. Though they agree to remain just friends, everything shifts when Aly's life is put in danger, and Dash instantly rushes to her side. Forced to face his true feelings, Dash realises Aly is his everything—but convincing her to give them another chance is a whole different battle.

From dangerous attraction to a haunting romance, Carrie Ann tugs at the soul with a vengeance. Dash and Aly burn on pure fire from beginning to end, breathing life into a passionate addiction that is thrilling to behold. Packed with high-stakes suspense, deep-seated emotions, and plenty of spice, this quick read is a powerful, captivating addition to the series.

The narration is sexcellent; CJ Bloom and Aiden Snow don't just speak the words; they live them.

**Audiobook Review**

From the moment I started this book, I was pulled immediately back into the Montgomery world. “His Guilty Pleasure” is a swoony, emotional and action packed friends with benefits to more, romantic suspense that was a great addition to the series.

I loved how Dash and Aly set clear ground rules for their situationship and never strayed from them when they were hooking up. Both kept it as it should but you could tell they were friends and respected each other. I loved that Aly followed her passion with the plants and had her own nursery where she thrived at her passion. Dash is a swoony guy working with the construction side of the family business so these two were bound to meet and become something more. The added workplace drama with her employees was the perfect setup for her and Dash to realize that they had potential for more. This is what Dash needed to realize that Aly was the one for him and to make his move to know how special she was to him. I loved their connection and the clear chemistry they had for each other. The ending was so sweet and I love the teaser we get for the next book.

CJ Bloom and Aiden Snow narrated this audio and I loved listening to them bring this story to life. CJ’s narration was genuine and caring just like Aly. Aiden was great as the protective and swoony Dash. These two were the right choices for this audiobook.

I adored Aly and Dash. They are both such good people. Go out of their way for family and friends.
Are kind and compassionate. They are hard workers wanting a successful life. They feel like everyday people.
They are friends. That is how their foundation started. Now they are friends with benefits. But keeping that part a secret.
A close call suddenly changes their dynamics. Now having the friends part only.
While I loved them both all they really needed was open and honest communication. That would have saved them pain and heartache.
It takes a bad accident for them to start really talking and being upfront about their feelings for one another.
Now their relationship is on the right track someone seems to be unhappy and bad things are happening.
I enjoyed Aly and Dash’s story. It’s fast paced, lots of some and some suspense.
I love the Montgomery Family, how they love unconditionally and wholeheartedly. Not only the family but also the significant others of their family members. They are down to earth people and can be relatable to. They work hard, have family get togethers, and poke fun at each other. But they always have each other’s backs.
The epilogue had me gasping!

This is book eleven of the Montgomery Ink Series! In this book you Aly and Dash! This was only supposed to be a friends with benefits arrangement, but when something happens close to home, it puts everyone on high alert. Dash is more protective than ever now, which makes blurring things between them a little complicated.

Carrie Ann has done it again! This was so entertaining, I read it in a day because I couldn’t put it down lol She definitely knows how to give a good plot twist because when you think you know how it going to play out, you’re wrong! Aly and Dash had this very playful side, because while they had a friendship during their arrangement, you could tell they had something more. The way Dash was protective of Aly was so cute because you could tell it was new territory but also came natural to him to be that way with her. This makes me excited for the next book!

Aly and Dash are friends...with benefits. The rules were simple: no catching feelings, keep the secret between them, and end the benefits when one of them wanted to. They both think they've kept this great secret, but everyone they know sees the chemistry and attraction between them. Aly has had every important person in her life walk away or cheat on her. Relationships aren't something she wants because she ends up being hurt in the process. Dash isn't enthused about ending he benefits part, but it's what Aly wants. When Dash hears Aly was involved in an accident, he quickly drops everything and volunteers to stay with her until she gets the all clear. And that's when he realizes that there is no moving on from Aly, no relationship without Aly, no future without Aly. It takes Aly longer to realize that Dash isn't like everyone who has abandoned her. The twists and turns coupled with everything else had me in an emotional chokehold, especially since I had CJ Bloom and Aiden Snow narrating the book in my ears. They are phenomenally talented when it comes to bringing stories to life.

I received an advance copy of the audiobook at my request and voluntarily left this review.

The saying "Rules are made to be broken" fits perfectly for His Guilty Pleasure. Two friends decide that friends with benefits is the best thing for them until their hearts change their minds and they catch feelings. Ms. Ryan delivers a spicy and brilliantly written love story that is fun, heartwarming and will have your heart beating a little bit faster than normal.
Dash and Aly are best friends, having fun and keeping it a secret. But are they really? Their friends and family see something else in the way they look at each other and how they are always together. A scare sees Aly calling it off. When it seems someone is stalking Aly and takes things a little further, Dash is the first one by her side. Did they both catch feelings? Is the tingling in their hearts telling them that they both caught feelings? I loved how Dash put everything on hold to take care of Aly; swoon.
His Guilty Pleasure is filled with friendships, family, found family, and fantastic, witty banter. From start to end, this book is a wonderful addition to the Montgomery Ink Legacy series and a must-read.

Smoking hot from start to finish! Ryan is pouring on the steam when Dash Montgomery admits he's met his match in the next book in her Montgomery Ink Legacy series and I am loving every single minute of it. The main characters are close friends with a strong back support of friends and family surrounding them when their secret friends with benefits relationship implodes around them. The characters each have a strong personality to carry their side of the story and a softness together that makes them easily believable as a couple. I wanted a little more from them ... especially considering the months in between things that happen, but I was hooked from page one and easily loved them throughout. Great characters, strong support systems and a decent follow through on plot twists. I highly recommend this series to anyone who loves a buttinsky but close-knit family who loves hard and supports non-stop as each member finds their forever love.

This friends with benefits story really brought out all the feels. Both Dash and Aly are happy with the trajectory of their situation, but when a pregnancy scare, turns out to be just a scare, it makes Aly reevaluate what they have together. Aly has a history of disastrous relationships, everyone leaves her eventually; her father, her mother, boyfriends throughout the years and she knows eventually Dash will leave too - so she ends things with him before she can get hurt. But best laid plans ..... I loved the plot timeline, the progression and realization for Dash as to what Aly meant to him and his plan to win her back and overcome her fears. Dash was the ultimate book boyfriend, pulling out all the stops to get Aly back and prove he was worth it. The element of suspense and the antics of the Montgomery clan round out this story beautifully. Thoroughly recommend.

I loved Aly and Dash’s friends to lovers romance. These two started as a friends with benefits but it turned into more for both of them. Their chemistry is strong and I loved their banter and constant bickering. I loved that Dash didn’t hesitate to be there for her when she needed it. There is a touch of suspense and I found the story entertaining. I absolutely love that the Montgomery family is always there for each other especially when they need each other.

CJ Bloom and Aiden Snow narrate this book in dual narration. They did a great at portraying the relationship between Aly and Dash. They brought the banter between them to life and did great at portraying the emotions and love these characters had for each other. I loved both of their performances. Thank you to Carrie Ann Ryan for an alc!

I am absolutely loving the Montgomery Ink Legacy series so much. In His Guilty Pleasure by Carrie Ann Ryan, narrated by Aiden Snow and CJ Bloom, is a friends with benefits steamy romance where there was supposed to be no feelings. Ever. But things never work as planned. Dash and Aly have been friends with benefits for a while, but no one knows and that is how they want it. But when things change, they are going to be friends only. Then the unthinkable happens and Dash is determined to be there for her, even when danger is close at hand.

I loved Dash and Aly so much. Neither wanted to fall, but sometimes the heart wants what it wants. I loved the support Dash had from his family. He was determined and protective. Aly had some insecurities and did not trust easily but was stronger than she ever thought. I loved their journey so much and could not stop listening.

Happy listening!
