Government Zero: No Borders, No Language, No Culture

Rate this book
From bestselling author of Stop the Coming Civil War, Michael Savage reveals the massive dangers currently leading to the demise of our government.

Michael Savage has been warning Americans for decades. In GOVERNMENT ZERO, Savage sounds the alarm about how progressives and radical Islamists are working towards similar ends: to destroy Western Civilization and remake it in their own respective images. These two dark forces are transforming our once-free republic into a socialist, Third World dictatorship ruled by Government Zero: absolute government and zero representation.

Combining in-depth analysis with biting commentary, Savage cuts through mainstream media propaganda to reveal an all-out attack on our borders, language and culture by progressive and Islamist travelers who have hijacked public policy from national defense to immigration to public education.

There is only one thing that can stop this terrifying agenda. Michael Savage has a plan. Get the inside story before it's too late.

In America, we have only a left wing and a far-left wing. A bird needs two wings to fly. This country is going in circles because it has two left wings, flapping around the clock. A bird needs a left wing and a right wing to fly. In Michael Savage's latest book, Government Zero, he really focuses on what exactly is going on with the current leadership in our government, congress, the Supreme Court and of course, the Presidency, while many American's, like myself, are shaking their heads and wondering what is going on with those in charge of leading this once great nation literally into the ground.

So what is Government Zero? We're facing something the West hasn't had to deal with since the wars of religion in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. The same thing is happening right now. We are supposed to be a nation where the government is "of the people, by the people, and for the people." Yet every poll shows this rogue government of sneaks and traitors seems to relish doing the opposite of the will of the people. It is a government of itself, by itself and for itself, run by lobbyists. In short, Government Zero is absolute, unchecked government power and zero representation of the people. It doesn't exist to promote conservative or liberal principles. It is not pro-immigration or anti-immigration. It is not capitalist or socialist. It is not religious or atheist. Those are all just means to its end.

We are paralyzed as this most evil of administration swings its sledgehammers at our most revered institutions. A climate of fear grips the people as the sneaks in high places spy on us, sell us out to Red China in a secret trade deal, decimate our medical system, eviscerate our military leadership, evaporate our borders, erase our culture, and attack religion's basic tenets. Meanwhile, millions of illegal aliens pour over our southern border, bringing with them an unwillingness to assimilate into American culture, refusing to even speak English. "That's why the government is attacking everything that makes the world livable for the rest of us. It is attacking free enterprise, because it needs higher taxes and more regulations to expand its wealthy and power. It is promoting open borders, because immigrants from socialist or Islamic countries don't share our traditions of individual liberty and limited government. It wages war on police, because civil unrest allows it to exercise more centralized power or even martial law, eventually with a federal police force answering only to the kings and queens of government. It attacks freedom of speech, because dissent is like dryptonite to an all-powerful government." (pg 5).

I received Government Zero by Michael Savage compliments of Center Street Publishing, a division of Hachette Book Groups for my honest review. I did not receive any monetary compensation, aside from a free copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. It is hard to not read through this book and see the very things that Mr. Savage points out that is happening, from the smug looks from Hillary Clinton when testifying on her role in email scandals to the Benghazi failure, she seems to think she is above the law. When we watch the Supreme Court, take matters of deciding what will be the law of the nation away from the hands of the voters in matters like the Obamacare and Same Sex Marriage issues, all the while people are shaking our heads and wonder if we have woken up to some alternate version of the United States, but it is truly a living nightmare. However, Mr. Savage gives readers hope on what we can begin doing to help get our country back on track before it's too late, and I have to agree with Mr. Savage, that it truly is a spiritual issue that has gotten us off track and we need to turn back before we turn this sad state of affairs over to the next generation. We, as the people, need to take back our freedoms, our liberties and our country. I would rate this book, a 4 out of 5 stars in my opinion.

I consider myself a liberal but wanted to read this as I want to stay open-minded to a more conservative approach. There were many things that I agreed with but got frustrated when his emphasis was only on trashing Obama and liberals. I am sure that there are other books written by liberals that are just as polarizing but strongly feel that we have to find a way to work together and wish that his solutions were not reserved just for the last few pages of the book. A book you will love or hate but it will make you think

Utterly despicable vile crap. My father-in-law entreated me to read this to "save our country". After reading only the first page, I would like to ask Savage to expatriate himself. Such BS. Such lies. Such HATE. I need a shower.

An unrelenting colonoscopy of the current regime and all it's failures.

Savage is often a lone voice, but boy can he swing.

Knockout.

I began listening to Dr. Savage in 2015. He is one of the most interesting radio personalities I've ever listened to. Let's say his diatribe would make Rush Limbaugh blush. It did get him banned from the United Kingdom.

Enter his newest book, Government Zero. If you explained to Michael you hadn't read his book yet - he'd either say you were an Islamofacist Nazi or call you a liar. Good news is, after the call, he'd send you a free copy of the book.

Before I get to the review, I should note that I really abhor self-aggrandizing egotistical type A people. They really get under my skin. Dr. Savage is one of these individuals. There is not 5-10 minutes in his daily radio address where he isn't inflating his accomplishments, pointing out he was "first" or putting down 99% of the population. Yet I digress...I believe in 90%+ of what he believes in and appreciate many of his ideas.

This book is a good synopsis of the fodder for the radio show. If you are familiar with the show, many if not all of these topics are covered. This is why the lower rating from me on the book. 3 stars is an indication of a good book. If I were not familiar with the Savage show, I would have likely given it 4 stars.

Dr. Savage is a very straightforward guy. If he doesn't like you, he'll tell you. If he thinks you're wrong, he'll tell you (and likely speak over you) and tell you why you're wrong. That comes out right away in the book. He's sharp, to the point and doesn't mince words. For the same reason many people love Donald Trump running for President, many people love Dr. Savage.

Michael is very clear on explaining why our country is a shambles. It is not simply because Barack Obama was elected President. We've been fooled by decades of progressive ideas and fake conservatives. Sure, B.O. has exacerbated the issue, but the majority of Americans have supported it. Now the US is under serious economic pressures, threatened by radical Islamist terrorists and our very Constitution is being dismantled to resemble Europe.

Rather than go piece by piece through the book, I thought I'd offer main subjects covered in the 13 chapters.

Leadership; ISIS; Islam; Media; Military; Education; Culture; Borders/Immigration; Religion (Socialist Pope); Climate Change Scam; Lysenkoism; Pseudo-Science; Psuedo-Journalism; Economy; Constitution; Bill of Rights; Police; Racism; Nationalism.

At the closing of the book, Dr. Savage offers 40 of his most promising ideas to "fix" The United States. While I won't spoil that - there are some excellent recommendations - I will say I was surprised at the omission of overall election reform and setting term limits...not to mention repealing the disasters Obama created with his pen and phone (including executive orders).

I would highly recommend this book and kudos to Dr. Savage for continuing to keep the silent majority heard.

This is the second book I've read by this author. He covers a lot of material exposing things being done by the "left" AND the "right" that are detrimental to our rights under the US Constitution. After exploring quite a number of these he then details suggestions of what it would take to get America back on track with the founding principles. Great read for anyone open minded enough to learn what is happening and why to our country today.

This is my first Michael Savage book, and like how he tells it how it is. The American Dream is disappearing year after year, and gives a bleak future for the economy of the United States if things continue the way they are going. The current administration in this country is leading us down a deep dark path. The are taking away freedoms that made our country the greatest in the world, spying on each and every one of us, have opened the borders for terrorists blending in as refugees, allowing terrorists to infiltrate and plan out attacks on our country, and how the president of our nation instead of bringing us together after major city riots, placing blame on local police. Decisions that have been made has left a lot of people shaking their heads, thinking why in the world would they allow this? Savage puts a lot of things together that makes perfect sense into why these decisions are made. Not my typical read, but I did enjoy it.

A true nationalist devoid of political correctness. It will sound offensive if your leanings are leftist, but it captures the frustration of many in an accessible format. His viewpoint has been consistent over the years and this book captures them well.

I read this book looking for rationale. I was hoping for facts, citations, incidents to incite the kind of rage Mr. Savage wields. I wanted to hear right wing debate and arguments but all I found was rhetoric. I suppose this is just another sermon being delivered to the choir.

This is a must read book if you wish to understand the argument for borders, language, and culture. Without borders, language, and culture we are not a sovereign nation. This book covers all the major issues of our time and makes the case that our government is batting a zero in leadership, its strategy against ISIS, the military, our education system, culture, immigration, religion, science, business, liberty, and law enforcement, i.e., the police. The author argues that nationalism will save the nation and he offers 40 actions to save America. If you listen to The Savage Nation you will be familiar with many of the ideas and concepts in the book. However, you will learn new things as well, and you will be sitting on the edge of your seat during the entire reading of this book.

This book was written in 2015, before the recent presidential election but the issues we face as a country are still here. The book is very well written and I would urge you to read it even if you are not a fan of the radio program.

Dr. Savage's latest book, Government Zero highlights many of the themes discussed on his radio show. The book details the fallacies in liberals and conservatives. From foreign policy to entitlement programs, Savage jumps between specific individuals and politicians in general.

The main points of the book cover foreign policy, immigration, climate change, the constitution, racism and nationalism. Dr. Savage concludes with solutions to improve the United States of America.
Savage is one of the few media personalities that dives into the details of Trump. Dr. Savage will give you insight into the policies and ideas that elected President Trump in 2016.

Michael sure wrote a gem. Well laid out and spot.on with the issues our country faces. Facts are laid out and solutions are offered.
This is not a one party problem, both parties are at fat for the radical direction we are headed. Time to hold people accountable and right the ship.
Ends with a valid, if not brilliant, 40 point plan.

Listened to 1.5 hours of this 9 hour book. Had to put it down. Of all of the political books I have read, this one was so ‘slamming’ of the democrats, left wing that it was just too much. I view myself as a moderate but also looking at all issues, perspectives to a political situation. 1.5 stars.

Love Michael Savage. This book was prophetic. Michael said that after Obama we needed a nationalist and we got one in Trump! Now I hope Trump implements some of the things listed in this book.

Provocative, some very good ideas and suggestions, but also some that made me shake my head in disappointment. Bottom line, I sensed many Libertarian ideas, but no acknowledgement that the Libertarian Party has been here since the early 1970s as a true alternative to "Demopublicans," the single party with two faces.

I listened to the audiobook, and often wondered where Savage was getting his information, so I checked a hard copy of his book at the library and did see he had at least token footnotes to cite sources for his "facts." However, as he so astutely pointed out in his sections on climate change, the devil is in the details, the source of the information, and the veracity of that source. I understand that his first goal is to sell books to please his publisher, so he had to be super antagonistic against Pres. Obama to the point of wearing out the words dictator, tyrant, despot; as well as making so many veiled references and comparisons of Obama to Hitler that I started to laugh when he began repeatedly saying, "Not that I'm saying that Obama is another Hitler," as if that negated each diatribe that preceded the statement.

Too bad the book comes across as heavily partisan in favor of the Republicans, even though he blames them a respectable number of times for complicity with the Dems at a minimum. If we ever get tired of rhetoric in this country and start truly debating, exchanging ideas, listening to all sides of an issue, we might possibly come up with some reasonable solutions that have a chance in hell of working.

A profound work of modern political literature, Michael Savage's Government Zero explains in clear cut writing many of the critical issues facing the United States and Western Civilization as a whole today. Topics of the book include Islamic terrorism, Mass immigration into the West from the Third World, current battles of the "Culture War", and many other pertinent issues.

The overriding theme of the book is that both parties have morphed into one on many issues, and Savage believes it's time for a truly Nationalist political party to enter into the political battleground, a party that puts the interests of Americans first ahead of anyone or anything else.

In many ways this book is similar to the works and writings of columnist Pat Buchanan, addressing many similar issues that his book Death of the West did back in 2002, if anything, it feels like an updated edition of that book with some new material.

Overall, if you're a fan of Savage's radio program, you'll have a blast reading this, or if you're looking for a view of politics today without the lenses of political correctness, you will enjoy it too.

Let me start off by saying that this is a book by Michael savage . He is very straightforward and not likable by many people . He has an extreme conservative view of the world and you actually feel this in all of his book .if you get generally offended don't read it .i don't necessarily agree that most problems of America come from Obama as he points it out but more about outwards politicians and politics done in years . Savage does explain that Muslims terrorists who are conquering America and the world are responsible as well for the decline of America and that's somehow true when you have allowed Muslim terrorists to come so easily to counties what do you expect ?... Well if you are a core conservative this book is for you if you are just simply interested in hearing a different view than yours read it too and then come to your conclusions which will surely be different than dr savage ones

I am a Republican, so I should like this book, right? I should agree with what he says, right? Well....maybe... He uses a lot of inflammatory language without adequate explanation and proof. There are lots of references, but some of them are questionable...one references a random guy's website for a clip that could be found on CNN, another references a website renown for their conspiracy theories. So, all in all, I don't know if I can trust his opinions/statements, even the ones I agree with. The last chapter is well worth reading, though, with concrete suggestions to make real changes. The rest just seems likes rhetoric, unfortunately. If he gave more data on his truly inflammatory statements, and referenced better sources, then this would be an interesting book...as it is, I recommend giving it a pass.

A book every American that cares about America should read. These past administrations have been progressively undermining the American dream -- and succeeding in a radical transformation of this country. That is not why my family escaped from Communist Cuba only to find my children living that horrible legacy. Yes, there is no perfect country in the world but this one gets pretty close until it is destroyed from within.
