What began as protection twisted into obsession. What was meant to save Berkley Monroe nearly destroyed everything. Now, with the past clawing its way into the light, there’s nowhere left to hide.
The lies that bound Berkley to Rowan, Ronan, Reign, and Emmerson are unraveling—one confession at a time. Old betrayals bleed into fresh wounds, and the enemies they thought were buried are closer than ever. Loving them was dangerous. Trusting them might be fatal.
They would burn the world to keep her safe. But the darkest threat isn’t lurking in the shadows—it’s already standing between them.
As the final pieces fall into place, Berkley is forced to face a brutal survival may demand sacrifice… and love may demand blood. Because not all villains wear masks, and not all monsters are strangers.
In this final chapter, vengeance and redemption collide, loyalty is tested beyond breaking, and the ashes we rise from will decide everything.
The end was always written in fire. The only question left—who survives the burn?
Ruin Me Right is the explosive final book in the Ashes of Us series—a dark reverse harem romance where love is no longer a choice, but a reckoning.
Every secret has a cost. Every bond is tested. Berkley and the men who would burn the world for her are done holding back as enemies close in and the line between love and destruction disappears. What they built through pain and devotion now stands on the edge of ruin—and this time, survival demands everything.
If you love dark romance, protective and possessive alphas, found family, and a heroine who refuses to choose just one, this is where it all ends.
Ruin Me Right is Book Four of Four in the Ashes of Us series. No mercy. No rules. No turning back.
Content Dark and emotionally intense themes. Full trigger warnings available in the front matter.
Ruin Me Right is Book 4 in the Ashes of Us series and the conclusion that I have been anticipating. May I say, the author did not disappoint!! The amount of emotions right from the beginning of the series up until the final end, indescribable(but in the absolute most good way). Tensions and emotions run high in this series and at times just gutted me to my core.
Burn the world down....Berkley with her men Rowan, Ronan and Emmerson will stop at nothing to stop the evil that tried to tear them apart. With every piece that is carefully calculated in a plan to bring them the justice and sense of safety they need....loyalties are an asset and tested. Intensity runs high.....but nothing will stop them to bring that evil down one step at a time...
I very highly recommend this series...and while I am sad for the conclusion overall I am beyond excited what this author has in store in the future.
Ruin Me Right is a 4.5‑star, “every secret detonates at once, and somehow we’re still rooting for these disaster soulmates” ending. Berkley Monroe has been through hell, through fire, through trauma, through men who love her so hard it borders on a felony — and now she’s standing in the ashes with the truth clawing its way out like it’s got unfinished business.
And the boys? Rowan, Ronan, Reign, Emmerson? They’re all unravelling like emotionally damaged Christmas lights. Every confession hits like a slap. Every betrayal feels like a bruise. Every moment of devotion is so intense it should come with a warning label.
This book is basically: “What if love were a weapon and everyone involved had terrible impulse control?”
The past isn’t just haunting them — it’s stalking them, breathing down their necks, and occasionally stabbing them in the emotional kidneys. Enemies they thought were buried? Yeah, turns out Berkley’s life is basically a zombie apocalypse of unresolved trauma.
And the best part? The darkest threat isn’t outside. It’s inside the circle. Standing between them. Breathing their air. Smiling like a villain who thinks they’ve already won.
The tension is feral. The devotion is obsessive. The stakes are “someone is absolutely not making it out of this emotionally intact.”
This finale doesn’t tie bows — it lights fuses. It doesn’t soothe — it scorches. It doesn’t ask who Berkley will choose — it asks who will survive loving her.
And Berkley? She finally steps into her power. Not as a victim. Not as collateral damage. But as the woman who decides which monsters get to live.
If the series began in smoke, Ruin Me Right ends in a wildfire — messy, cathartic, devastating, and exactly the kind of ending that leaves you staring at the wall like you need a support group.
A brutal, beautiful, obsessive, loyalty‑bleeding finale where love isn’t a choice — it’s a reckoning.
This isn’t the first book I’ve read by the author. Ruin Me Right is the fourth and final book in the Ashes of Us Series. I absolutely loved this series. I have read every book in this series and they keep getting better and better. We’re once again joined by our lovely characters Berkeley, Ronan, Rowan, and Emerson.
Berkeley knows exactly what Kimber is going through. She’s been there and survived it, but she never thought they would swoop so low and take a child. A family member. One they swore to protect. Now they’re trying to find her before something happens to her. So when Emerson says that he’ll find her before he lets them keep her she breaks. Then she starts digging for a break to get them in to find them. The quote I chose for her is this: “See this? They tried to scrub it clean, but they missed the handoff. Whoever’s been ghosting them left an access point exposed for, what, five minutes? Long enough for me to grab its fingerprint. Backup drives are paranoid people’s security blanket. They stash everything. Contracts, bank dumps, contacts. If they’re keeping copies, we can recover deleted logs. We can trace money flows. We can find who paid them to scrub. They’re sloppy because they’re desperate. They moved funds, but some of them got stuck. The cleaner pulled it out and scrubbed the logs, but a fallback ping hit the relay for a split second. That’s our in.”
Ronan is the first to surround her when she breaks. He scoops her up and carries her to a bed. He lays her down and she curls into him instantly. He falls asleep with Berkeley and notices when his brother and Emerson leave the bed. When he wakes up he takes over for his brother and Emerson on trying to find them. He says this to the computer as he digs: “You can cover your tracks all you want. But we’re coming for you. You don’t get to touch what’s ours and walk away breathing.”
Rowan knows Emerson is freaking out because they’ve all been there once before. Now it’s his, well their, little sister who is on the line. He knows how serious it is to find her before they lost her for good. They stay up all night to try finding anything they could to take them down or find a clue on where they were having. He says this to his twin when he comes to take over: “We hit a couple of accounts tied to their shell company. Choked them before they could move anything else.”
Emerson is stressed beyond the limit. First it’s his mom and now it’s his sister. He promised to protect her and couldn’t even do that. Now Berkeley breaks down apologizing because she thinks it’s her fault. He doesn’t blame her and tells her that. The quote I chose for him is this: “I’ll burn the whole damn world down before I let them keep her.”
One could say it's the epic conclusion of the series. I thoroughly enjoy all the books and Ruin Me Right was no exception. Are there a lot of underlining subplots, absolutely! Could they be triggering to someone, most definitely! However, the series itself is fantastic! And well worth the read. Each book has its ups and downs but the author did a wonderful job. in saying all that if you made it this far and you haven’t read the 1st 3 books go back and find book 1. Get sucked in because outside of potentially ruining something for you, you may also be confused about the story in general. Berk and the guys are determined to find Kimber, but they all feel guilty in some way that Bryce and Dean got their hands on her. They were supposed to protect her. And now their footprint is being wiped clean. Every ebb and flow they had to find/track them disappeared before their eyes. It’s frustrating and exhausting. However they know they can’t stop, just one door will lead to another and then another. Emerson, Ronan, and Rowan do what they can to keep Berk grounded but they are just as on edge themselves. Will they find that break? You know it. However it’s small and they will still have a lot of work to do. Will it be worth it absolutely! Dean and Bryce are going to pay and the 4 of them plan to make sure of it. Once they can get to them and Kimber is safe all bets are off! it’s just a matter of will they succeed? Your guess is as good as mine going into it. But that’s why we enjoy turning the page to finish the stories and find the answers we seek. We may have an idea but we won’t know till we are done. Their job is to keep you turning the page and not wanting to put the story down and that’s exactly what happened, at least for me. Now it’s time to start over and fine comb the story to see if there were any clues I missed the first time that would lead me to an even better conclusion. Your job is to jump on in! Good luck!
I have been very impatiently waiting for the conclusion of Ava's "Ashes of Us" series. Once again, Ava did not disappoint and saved the best for last! This book had me gripped in its talons. The spice, the revenge and vengeance that Berkley and her boys have gained over the years. They throw all they have at breaking the evil empire that was created by their fathers. Only they have the brains, and heart to destroy it all. Make sure you start at book one! (I made the mistake of not paying attention and read book two, and had to go back and read book one.) I loved that I didn't have to wait long in between the release dates of the books ( I can be very impatient!) I highly recommend this series!!!
This is book 4 in the Ashes of Us series and it is the last one. All I can say is wow. This is a series that you definitely have to read from the beginning as each book follows on from the last and to get the full impact of the story and the characters lives you need to read them in order. These books are my type of read with tortured souls, secrets, danger, all alongside a possessive passion that can’t and won’t be extinguished. We are back with Rowan, Ronan, Emmerson and Berkley. After all the trauma that these characters have been through it’s not over yet. Their fathers have kidnapped Emmerson sister and the Four of them will stop at nothing to get her back safely and finally destroy the people who have been torturing them. Will they finally succeed is getting rid of the evil one and for all? However this won’t be easy, the closer they get the more secrets are being revealed secrets that could destroy the very fragile relationship between them all.
This series has been amazing. I have been captivated by the characters and their stories and watching them all be destroyed and slowly pull themselves out of the ashes made for a read I will never forget. I want to start all over again and get lost back into their world.
Ruin Me Right (Ashes of Us) by Ava Ruin. 5 of 5 Stars.
I have been hooked from page one, of book one by this dark and emotionally intense reverse harem romance series. The story continues and comes to a gripping end in this final book. For Berkley loving the men in her life has never been more dangerous, as they come together to face their enemies for the final time. The lies that bound Berkley, Rowan, Ronan, Reign, and Emmerson together are now being revealed, resulting in their bonds being tested and their loyalties put to the test. This whole series has taken me on an emotional rollercoaster and I’ve been so invested in Berkley, and her men’s story. The characters have been so complex and realistic and the chemistry between them all has remained sizzling. This fast paced and action packed conclusion was a real page turner, and kept me reading way past my bedtime, unable to put the book down! The books really need to be read in order, and there are some trigger warnings to be aware of. I am going to miss this series and the characters, so I might have to start reading from book one again!
Ruin Me Right is the fourth and final book in the Ashes of Us series by Ava Ruin. Gulp – talk about leaving the best till last! This book continues the intense, emotionally charged story that began in Book #1. So, if you haven’t start the series yet, I highly recommend reading the other three instalments before diving into this one, as the characters have been on quite a journey and a lot has happened that has led to this point – and you will need to know all of that important information/storyline to fully appreciate this book. This isn’t just a romance - it’s a raw exploration of survival, trauma, and the messy, jagged edges of love that’s been forged in fire. All the tension, passion, angst, and drama that has been brewing the whole way through, comes to a head here - and Ms. Ruin didn’t disappoint, delivering another dark, passionate, and emotional read. If you enjoy romance with a darker edge and woven with grit, complex characters, twists, and plenty of danger - then you will want to add this book/series to your TBR. It’s definitely not a ‘light’ read, but it’s one that will linger well after you’ve turned the last page. Happy Reading…
This is hands down the best series of 2026. Ava the way you just shattered my soul and rebuilt it in the ash of the fire chef’s kiss 🤌🤌. We started with the love blooming in this reverse harem, to the literally fire that burned the whole world down. Ava’s ability to give you enough while letting our minds build our FMC and MMC’s in our mind allows you to fall in love with them in the pursuit level of admiration. When I grow up I want to be just as bad ass as Berk! With everything that was laid out to destroy everything about she literally rose like a Phoenix from the ash and was reborn in to something better. From the point of view that there are powerful men who will take to destroy it was everything for me with the rebirth of Berk. She wasn’t stopping till she ended the bogeyman. Berk’s revenge was simply poetic and I was living for it throughout this series. I can’t help but love the men who wanted it all for her as well as for them. Now please excuse me while I go back to the beginning and binge again!
This is the fourth book in the Ashes of Us Series, and I think it may just be my favorite out of all of them! The author has definitely made it to my ‘watchlist’ because I can’t wait to see what other magnificently dark romances they create. I don’t know how they can weave all of these elements together in such a way that is perfect for me, but I’m not complaining! Why Choose is one of my favorite tropes of all time, so the entire series was right up my alley. I don’t really have triggers in books, but the author has kindly included trigger warnings so that you know what you’re walking into. My emotions were put through the ringer for sure. I couldn’t put this book down even if you paid me to which meant I neglected some of my household chores (psht, they can always wait). I love the spicy, steamy scenes because they are done in such a way that the plot doesn’t rely on it to carry the story. I love all of our main characters, and I bet you will too. Go ahead and do yourself a favor, and get lost in this dark, emotional, steamy perfection!
This is the fourth and final book in this series. This is a series that you need to read from the beginning as they start where the previous left off. It will also help with your enjoyment of this author’s writing skills. This is a story of obsession and secrets. A story where everything is tested and who comes out of the ruins remains to be seen. I enjoyed all the characters in this story but Berkley is my favorite. She is a strong female that is connectable and will make you care about what happens to her. I enjoyed watching the growth of this story as well as the characters. They had me coming back for more because I needed to know what happened next. This is a fast paced, darker story that could trigger some but if you get past those you will find a great story and series. I look forward to seeing what is next for this author. I highly recommend this must read story and series.
Finished out the series and I did like this one overall much better than the others. The story finally felt realistically driven, although I don't like how they never cleared up HOW the dads were able to get to the "hideout" in the first place... they go on one mission and Em's sister gets taken? If they knew about the spot, they had to have known about Berk as she was coming and going from there for a while... anyway, everything else is wrapped up pretty neatly and happy endings all around- literally. I really did like the scene where Berk was taken to a room to be "tortured" (after turning herself in, which honestly was very cliche and not sure how the boys didn't see that coming) and she was just psyching them out so much. That was fun.
Super easy to read, definitely heavy on the s3x, although not so much as the previous books, which I was grateful for, would not have suited the theme of this book.
The first three books left me wanting more, I finally got a chance to read this final book today and couldn't get through it fast enough to know what happens with Berkeley and her boys. I didn't have much time during the day to read too much, but I was reading this book like I was studying for an exam as soon as I got home.
Revenge is coming to the people who have caused so much pain over the years and there was no holding back. I would like to think i have a pretty okay imagination and even I couldn't come up with a punishment that fit the crimes nearly as well as Berkeley did. I really enjoyed reading all of that going down.
I love it when the final book ties everything up beautifully and leaves me with no questions. I do have one, but it's not anything I will lose sleep over.
I am so looking forward to keeping up with this author now that I have found her. Cannot wait to see what she comes up with next.
4 Stars Ruin Me Right (Ashes of Us Book 4) By Ava Ruin
Ruin Me Right is the fourth book in the Ashes of US series. This is a Dark Reverse Harem that is intense and will have you on the edge of your seat turning the pages till the end. Holy Smokes that was intense and exactly what I was expecting. This is the final book and I highly recommend reading this series in order as you will get a better understanding of what has been going on and you get a better understanding of the characters. Plus it’s a phenomenal series. Get ready as we put everything on the line in this emotionally charged explosive ending to an intense series. They all come together to face the enemies one last time. You guys I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I promise you won’t be disappointed especially if you’ve been reading this series from the beginning. I can’t wait to see what this author brings us next.
"STOP! If you haven't read the first 3 books in this series, go back and do yourself the BIGGEST favor and read them. You don't want to ruin ;) anything for yourself by picking up the finale before you've started. Now, this is how you end a series…by keeping the reader hanging on every single word on every single page. I could not put this down and while I'm sad it's over, I'm just going to start the series over again...because I can. This book is no different from any of the others...it will take you on an emotional rollercoaster, rip your heart out, put it back, and then rip it out again. And keep in mind, if you are someone who needs trigger warnings, please be sure to check them before starting this book and the series. Ruin doesn't hold back when it comes to tackling dark subject matter, so please be sure to check if you need to. The finale for Berk and her boys was *chef's kiss* and I'm going back to reread immediately! Happy Reading!"
Finally! The end…of our waiting!!! This book, this series, this author! Wow! Totally worth the wait, totally worth each and every twist, totally worth every Octopus Hotdog!
Berk and the boys are ready to fight fire with fire. They are done waiting. The time is now. Things will get heated in all the ways, especially in the bedroom. This is no sweet romance. This is hard core, breath taking, and angry but yet it is also a romance with a twist.
This author has taken us on a dark twisted adventure where blood family means very little and found family, those you can trust, those who fight for you not against you, found family means everything. This is a twisted story right from the beginning of book 1 making all four books a twisted series that can only be read in order.
I really hope this author has other books or even series that I can read!
Ava Ruin has done it again. This fourth book in the series picks up where the third book left off. So you need to read them in order. There are trigger warnings on these books so make sure you check those before you start. I am not a usual dark romance reader and love more your cozy murder mystery books. But I have to say I really love these books. In this fourth book Berk and her boys are devastated as they have lost Em’s little sister to the enemy – the boys’ fathers. Berk knows what she is going through and is slipping back into her old self. They need to find Kimber before she is lost in the slave trade forever or killed. During this search Berk and the boys need to work through some of their issues and control to keep being a family unit and working together. Again can’t get enough! I hope another series is on the way!
Ruin Me Right was intense, emotional, chaotic, and honestly exactly the kind of finale I wanted for the Ashes of Us series. Ava Ruin kept the dark, obsessive energy from the earlier books but turned the emotional damage all the way up. Every relationship felt fragile and explosive at the same time, and I was STRESSED the entire book waiting to see who would survive all the secrets finally coming out. Berkley has grown so much through this series. She’s still emotional and messy, but in this book she finally feels stronger and more willing to fight for herself instead of just surviving everything happening around her. The guys? Completely feral for her as usual. Protective, toxic, devoted, obsessed all the things dark romance readers want. This is definitely not a soft romance. It’s dramatic, possessive, emotionally heavy, and full of morally gray characters making terrible decisions for love. But if you’ve been invested in Berkley and the Calder boys from the start, this finale delivers the angst, tension, and destruction the series promised.
Ruin Me Right by Ava Ruin 5 Star Review I am so sad that this is done. This series was a ride and I loved every single second of it. When Ronan, Rowan, and Em find out that the fighter who is kicking everyone’s butt is Berkley, there is much stress and strain to try to get their acts together and to forgive one another for what has happened. The action picks up when vengeance and revenge become the fuel that leads them into the battle of a lifetime to save the life they are building for themselves. Y’all the Spice is FIRE. The story in itself is amazing but the writing is creative and real. It made me feel like I was there with them. Ava Ruin is one of my new favorite authors and I will be checking out some of her other books.
This is the final chapter in an incredible series, and it was the perfect way to end it. I loved these characters so much. They went through years of pain, trauma, and impossible situations, yet they stayed strong and resilient through it all. Watching them fight to survive was emotional and inspiring. The story had everything I’ve come to expect from this series ; action, tension, romance, and all the emotional and sexy moments. I really liked that everyone finally got what they deserved in the end. It was satisfying. The book was so good, but I’m also a little sad because I loved this series and now it’s over. The author did a fantastic job wrapping everything up, and this series is definitely one I won’t forget.
This is the final chapter in an incredible series; I loved everything about this series too. the characters went through so much from years of pain, trauma, and impossible situations, yet they stayed strong and resilient through it all. Watching them fight to survive was emotional and inspiring. The story had everything I’ve come to expect from this series; action, tension, romance, survival, emotional and sexy moments it was a rollercoaster that I didn’t want to get off. This last book was satisfying and ties everything up beautifully and leaves me with no questions. The author did a fantastic job wrapping everything up, and this series is one I won’t forget and will recommend. Reading in order is a must to understand and know what is going on.
This is the fourth and final book in the Ashes Of Us Series. It wrapped up a fantastic series where each and every book in the series was phenomenal. The first 3 books left you with a "what just happened" moment and the next books did not disappoint. This final book was a dark reverse harem romance that had obsession, love, loyalty, devotion, found family, protective & possessive men, redemption, betrayal, threats, danger, sacrifice, vengeance, destruction, and so much more. Berkley and her 3 guys finally get to put an end to their families destruction, lies, and deceit. Check your trigger warnings for this book.
This last book Ruin Me Right did not disappoint, drew me in from the first page to the last page. Action and other things from beginning to end. Love the plot and the all the characters. I am team Berkley all the way, her and her boys can do some damage when they are together. What they won't do to protect anyone they love or care about. If you want a good action series this is definitely worth the read. Hate to see this series end, but it was one heck of a ride from the first book to the end. Thank you for the amazing journey Ava Ruin. Hope to read more books like this and see what new journeys to go on.
This book is the incredible fourth and final book in what has been an amazing series! I could not wait to start reading this book and get straight back into this world and these characters. As with the other books, I was completely hooked on this story from page one. I could not put it down once I had started reading because I was so desperate to see how things would turn out. The book is an emotional rollercoaster. I felt rung out in the best possibly way by the time I had finished the story but still could have read for so much longer. This series overall has been a brilliant read and one of my favourites of this year. I would highly recommend this series.
This is the final book in this series and it didn’t disappoint. This one has more of them looking for Kimber and finishing g what they started. I love how this book shows more of their emotional connection instead of just the physical connection. It shows how they are all there for each other no matter what. It has plenty of action and swoon worthy moments but it goes deeper and draws you in more. It gives you hope again. There are still plenty of triggers so please be mindful of those when deciding whether you are going to read it. If you can get past all the nitty gritty and look under the surface this book will be a game changer for you.
The final book in the Ashes of Us Series and it was just as amazing as the other 3 books! This is a dark romance, so please read the triggers before starting this series! The roller coaster this series took me on was absolutely worth every second of it! You will want to read all 3 in order as Ava has done an amazing job ensuring each book picks up right where the previous one left off, leaving little to no questions at the end! This book is very fast paced and keeps you wanting more I had a very hard time putting these down! I have enjoyed getting to know and fall in love with the characters throughout the series, but I will say Berkley has been my favorite out of them all.
FINALLY. Ava Ruin will surely ruin you with this series. Life refused to let me dive in the moment it released but I finally got to dive in, and I tried to savor it but only made it last 3.5 days. I’m not a big reverse harem girly but this story, the twists, the turns, honestly the everything. Berkley fell for them knowing it was dangerous and knowing she could lose her life for trusting them. When the lies unravel and everything is exposed in the fire who will survive the burns? Can Berkley keep them all? Now to get the book trophies, reread, and savor it all again.
From the very first page of the Ashes of Us series, I’ve been hooked by this dark and emotionally intense world, and Ruin Me Right provides the perfect, gripping conclusion to Berkley and her guys' story. The journey has been an absolute emotional rollercoaster. Driven by complex characters and unshakeable chemistry, this gritty, high-stakes read dives into danger and unexpected twists with an intensity that makes it impossible to put down. It is a powerful, passionate end to a series that truly redefines what it means to find love in the ruins.
Ruin Me Right completely pulled me in from the beginning. The chemistry between the characters was intense, the emotional tension was nonstop, and the characters felt messy and real in the best possible way. There was heartbreak, heat, and just enough vulnerability to make me completely invested in their story. Ava Ruin has a way of writing emotional damage and romance that keeps you turning pages long past bedtime. Definitely one of those books that leaves you thinking about the characters afterward.
This is the 4th book in the series, and must read them all, as each picks up where the first left off. This series is not for the faint of heart, they contain dark material and spicy scenes, with lots of trigger warnings. I thought Ruin Me Right was the perfect wrap up to the story, bringing closure to the characters and the readers. I love the plot and story itself, but could do without the graphic bedding scenes. I like that the author gave each male role his own personality and brought something to the relationship.
