ARC Review 🌟🌟🌟🌟

First, thank you so much for the opportunity to be on the ARC team for The Press Tour by Cassidy Ann!

This was such a cute, feel-good story. The writing is so vivid and detailed, it honestly felt like watching a romantic movie unfold. The chemistry, the music elements, the emotions—it all just worked.

And that ending? Chef’s kiss.

I highly recommend this one if you love second-chance romances and stories with a strong music vibe. 🎶💕

I’m so grateful to Literary Media Tours and Cassidy Ann for providing me with an advanced copy of The Press Tour. This is my honest review and opinion.

The Press Tour was such a fun read. It follows a publicist’s assistant who must successfully manage her ex-boyfriend’s press tour in order to earn the promotion she has worked so hard for. At its heart, it asks the question: can you really have it all?

Charlotte is quirky, relatable, and easy to root for. I felt protective of her when the fans went after her (why are people so ugly!) Oh, and the sabotage Grrr. I was fully invested in Charlotte getting a second chance with Liam. Liam is basically the definition of a Southern gentleman, and I loved the way he showed up for Charlotte while taking responsibility for his past choices. Watching their relationship unfold felt like a mix between a Hallmark movie and an episode of Nashville. I was here for every minute of it.

There were a just few things that kept this from being a full five star debut for me. First, the breakup between Charlotte and Liam felt a bit underdeveloped. It came across more like a simple miscommunication than a truly heartbreaking split, so the emotional impact didn’t fully land for me. I also found Liam’s trauma somewhat unclear. His parents were initially framed in a way that suggested violence, but that ultimately didn’t seem to be the case. I think a more vivid picture of his parents’ relationship would have strengthened both his decision to leave and his struggles with love and commitment.

Overall, this was a solid 4 star (maybe even 4.5 star) debut novel. I’m definitely excited to read more from Cassidy Ann in the future.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Press Tour was such an emotional and addictive second chance romance wrapped in a music industry setting.

Charlotte and Liam’s relationship immediately pulled me in. Their history together felt believable and heartfelt, and I loved how the dual timelines slowly showed both the beginning of their relationship and the people they became after years apart.

Even though the story is told entirely through Charlotte’s POV, I actually think that made the emotional journey stronger. Watching her balance career ambitions, unresolved feelings, and personal growth made her feel incredibly real and relatable.

The chemistry between Charlotte and Liam never disappeared, even after years apart, and I loved how the story explored the tension between following your dreams and holding onto love.

This book had such a cinematic, emotional feel to it, and I flew through it so quickly. Perfect for readers who love music romances, second chance love stories, and emotionally driven contemporary romance.

Awe I love this book! I think what’s going to draw readers into this novel is the setting and music industry backdrop—and for good reason! I adored this deep-dive into the music publicity world. I mean of course I was obsessed with the love story, but I LOVED diving into the life of a country star (and his publicist!). This novel truly was so sweet, between the flashbacks in the beginning and all of the lovestruck moments throughout, it just was precious. Liam Hayes loves his girl SO much, ugh! This book was full of ups and downs, and there were plenty of moments it seemed impossible. I was BEGGING for Liam and Charlotte’s happily ever after, and I couldn’t stop turning the page until they finally got it. This is a STUNNING debut, can’t wait for readers to dive into the world of Hot Spot Records!

This is such a fun, easy read if you’re in the mood for a second-chance romance with rom-com energy. It follows a publicist and a now-famous country singer who dated back in college, went their separate ways, and unexpectedly end up back in each other’s orbit.

Their shared history adds just enough emotional depth, but the story keeps things light with plenty of tension, banter, and those “will-they-won’t-they” moments. Watching them navigate old feelings while figuring out who they are now makes the relationship feel real and engaging.

Overall, it’s a charming mix of nostalgia, chemistry, and a little bit of chaos—perfect for a relaxed, feel-good read.

This book was incredible and I devoured in just two days! I easily fell in love with CC & Liam. It was hard to see Charlotte recount her failed relationship from college. She had a history of men leaving her behind and heartbroken. This story came together so nicely. It was clean and easy, it was difficult and messy and hard to get through at times, but oh so worth it!! Cassidy Ann, this was an easy five star read for me. I cried a lot of tears because you made me feel what the characters were feeling. Congrats on your debut novel, and I cannot wait to see what you do next!!

This was really really cute!! I loved the story. As a girl who could only dream of being with a country singer I loved living that fantasy through Charlotte. I loved all the mentions of Nashville that make it Nashville. I hope there are more books to come from this author!

ARC Review

I was so so excited to get my hands on this ARC, and I’m so pleased to say that it didn’t disappoint! I was stoked to read a book based in Nash, being a local, and it was so cool to be able to imagine this story taking place at locations I’ve actually been to and know well!

I am a huge supporter of dual timeline, and I think it worked soooo well for this story! Seeing the development of Charlotte and Liam’s college relationship at the same time you’re getting to see their current relationship evolve really helped to get me more invested in their success as a couple!

One of my fave things about this book? Omg I’m so glad you asked: NO MISCOMMUNICATION TROPE. That will turn me off from a book so fast and I was so happy with the way Charlotte and Liam handled conversations and decisions. Obviously you expect some strife in a romance, but the way it was dealt with was in an adult manner and didn’t make me want to pull my hair out😂

This was my first romance novel based on the music industry, and one of my few experiences with second chance romance, and I was all for it!! I loved getting to see the other side of the music business, being a massive consumer of all music, and getting to see Charlotte and Liam’s adult selves fall in love all over again was so so sweet.

Honestly, for a debut novel I think that Cassidy absolutely SMASHED IT! I loved every aspect of this book, and I will protect sweet baby Liam at all costs!!

Thank you to Literary Media Tours for my advanced copy!!

I first want to thank Cassidy Ann for sending me this as an ARC.
I absolutely loved this story. Liam and CC had me melting with their past, and now they were coming back into each other’s lives years later. Liam’s yearning and determination had me loving him as a character. Some of the plot felt a little rushed, but it fits with the lifestyle well. There was a great mix of plot and spice, and I loved this book!

This was such a great story of reunited love. I absolutely adored Charlotte and Liam's story. I wasn't sure in the beginning if it was going to have a happily ever after. Charlotte and Liam both suffered a great deal from the breakup during their college years. I wasn't sure if they could realize they both grew during their time apart and were not the same people they were during that time. The twist at the end...Holy Cow! I wasn't expecting that. But it fit in the story perfectly!! Thank you so much for sharing this ARC with me. I am so glad I got to read it. I can't wait to see what other amazing stories you have for us.

This book had such a unique premise and a really engaging setting, which is ultimately what kept me reading. There’s a lot of potential here, and I can absolutely see what the author was going for.
That said, the execution didn’t fully land for me. The dialogue often felt a bit scripted and unnatural, which made it hard to fully immerse myself in the story. I also struggled to feel a genuine connection between the main characters—their relationship came across as more told than shown, and at times felt a bit forced.
The pacing was quite fast, which may work for some readers, but for me it didn’t leave enough room to really settle into the characters’ emotions or internal thoughts. I tend to prefer romance that leans more into emotional depth and “feeling” the relationship develop, rather than being told it’s there.
Overall, while this one didn’t fully click for me, I do think the author shows promise, especially with their creativity and setting. If you enjoy quicker-paced romances with a unique backdrop, this might still be worth checking out.

The Press Tour by Cassidy Ann was absolutely adorable! I loved the dual POVs (though I wish I got a little more from Liam), I loved the aspect of a publicist and a new sign on (wink), and even though there were kinda time jumps, it worked. I honestly didn’t think I would like the pairing of this book but Joe that I dipped my toes in it…I kinda want more!!

This was a super sweet second chance romance. The emotion that the author brought to the characters was breathtaking. You could just feel the love between them. You gotta explore the world of a strong female publicist that knew exactly what she was doing, while falling in love the country artist that won her over for a second time, who fought for her,, wrote an album for to show her how he screwed up by pushing her away the first time. You had supportive side characters that were just amazing to the story, you also got to see the ugly side of how quick fans can turn and be nasty to people. Then you got to see how she kept beating herself up for pushing him away, deciding to stop wallowing in self doubt, and decide to take back control of her life and the future she wanted. Thiswasjust an incredible read,I loved it

Thank you to Literary Media Tours for the eARC and the opportunity to read & review the author’s debut novel before its release!

The Press Tour is a second chance, friends to lovers romance set in Nashville, TN. It follows our PR assistant FMC, Charlotte, and her newly assigned up and coming country artist client MMC, Liam. Charlotte’s pending promotion and future career success depends on how well she can pull off a very short notice press tour to promote Liam’s upcoming album release. Liam’s entire album was written about Charlotte in an attempt to get over her from their previous breakup after years spent as college sweethearts.

I loved how much music is incorporated in this novel. As a reader, I felt immersed in it and loved feeling like I was learning more about the industry through this story.

I loved the moments when the author’s wit and humor shined through. The creative life circumstance playlists that Charlotte creates throughout the story is a great example of this! I also really enjoyed the snippets we get of lyrics off Liam’s album.

The beginning of the novel was good, the middle started to be a little lacking for me, but I really enjoyed the ending that brought it all together.

If I had a critique, it’s that I wish we could’ve seen more relationship building between our MCs as they’re exploring their second chance potential. I was set up to fall in love with them during the flashbacks of the beginning of their relationship and I unfortunately didn’t see those same moments as they’re reconciling. Their original break up was also lacking in explanation. I felt that it was more implied than it was blatantly explained as to why they broke up initially. That’s okay, but I wish it had been explored more since it was a major part of the story line.

I wish I had more of a chance to really fall in love with and root for them as a couple. A lot of them deciding to give their relationship a second chance felt rushed in pacing. I also am not fan of a third act break up in what’s already a second chance romance.

Despite those cons, the story wrapped up beautifully. I enjoyed the small twist that was included toward the end. I grew to enjoy Sophia’s character and think she was introduced just enough to be an awesome FMC for a sequel should the author ever decide to make this a series!

Overall, I think the author is a great writer! I’d never have known this was her first novel. I wouldn’t hesitate to read more from her in the future.

This story follows Charlotte, an aspiring publicist working for one of the biggest music labels in Nashville, who is assigned to run the two-week press tour for rising country star Liam Hayes — her college love and the one that got away.

I’ll start with what I enjoyed because there definitely were aspects that worked for me. I loved the behind-the-scenes look at the music industry, especially the press tour side of things, and I’m always a fan of second chance romance. The Nashville setting and country music atmosphere made for a fun premise, and the book is very short, sweet, and easy to read.

Unfortunately, this one just didn’t fully work for me personally. The biggest issue was that I found myself pretty bored after the first portion of the book. It felt like the emotional climax happened very early on, around the 20% mark, and after that the story became extremely predictable with not a lot of tension to keep me invested.

I also struggled a bit with believability. Charlotte works as an assistant publicist at one of the biggest labels in Nashville, yet somehow had absolutely no idea Liam had become a major up-and-coming country artist — or even that he was back in town — despite believing he was still in LA. When she walks into the boardroom and realizes he’s the new client, she’s completely shocked. For me, that just felt difficult to buy considering her profession and proximity to the industry.

That said, I don’t think this is a bad book at all — it simply wasn’t the right fit for me. If you’re newer to romance, enjoy country music romance, or are looking for a quick and light palate cleanser with second chance romance vibes, I could definitely see readers enjoying this one more than I did.

If your looking for a giddy romance with just enough spice that it gives you the ick, then this is a read for you.
Within 4% of reading this, I knew it was going to be one of my favorite contemporary romance reads in 2026. I loved FMC Charlotte who had the dream to work her way up from a publicist assistant to a publicist and MMC Liam who wanted to write and sing his own songs. These characters are relatable and the cutest match! As I was reading their a story, all I could think of as their song is "Love of a Lifetime" by Firehouse. They gave its always been you vibes.
I loved that Liam never gave up on Charlotte, even though she pushed him away at times. Their second chance romance reminded me of my current love.
An aspect I really enjoyed was the unique names Charlotte gave for her Playlist for all the niche moments in her life. An aspect i wish I would have saw more of was Liam's POV. I feel like it was more about Charlotte's POV.

ARC Review
The Press Tour by Cassidy Ann
4.75⭐️

Forbidden rockstar x publicist second chance romance? Sign me up! I absolutely loved this book and couldn’t put it down. Liam is such a patient gentleman and deserves to get both the girl and the career! He took accountability for his past, mistake or not, and showed Charlotte how much he’s grown and learned in his time away from her. He wears his heart on his sleeve (and on his body in the form of tattoos!)

Without giving spoilers, I have to say that I’m glad Charlotte learned how to be independent and rely on herself to get what she wanted and needed. She is absolutely determined and hard working when it comes to something/someone she’s passionate about and I loved to see her work through obstacles she faced, even though she didn’t deserve to have to face them in the first place!

The dual timeline aspect of this book was very beneficial. Seeing the reconnection of Charlotte and Liam in the present as well as their budding (then crumbling) relationship in college helped the reader fully experience their love and feel a deeper connection to the characters.

For anyone who hates a miscommunication trope, this book is safe! But there is a bit of self isolation and putting up walls to protect your heart, however this felt necessary given the events that happen in the book!

I’d definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves a loving music man, hardworking woman, country music, and Nashville!

Thank you Cassidy Ann and Literary Media Tours for the opportunity to read this book early for an honest review!

CC and Liam 🩷
This story hit me in all the amazing feels when I say that getting the pleasure and honor to be able to ARC read this for Cassidy Ann was such an amazing pleasure.

This was an amazing fun read that you felt that you were living the press tour dream. Charlotte has been working very hard from being just an assistant to wanting to become a publicist for her company she has worked extremely hard to try to get this position and when her boss Oliver says there is a condition she is all ears ! She has to be able to pull off one of the biggest Press tours and if she succeeds then the lotion is hers. But there’s a catch… the artist she will be helping is someone from her past who broke her heart and that is Liam.

Liam is back but he is back to do his Press Tour for his album that he had poured his heart and soul into this album not only that but he also hoped that he would be able to one day maybe make things bright with CC he truly was the detention of a man and a man who wanted to build a future with CC.

This book was beautifully written and it had all the country music feels but more than anything it was close to home 🩷🩷🩷🤍🤍🤍 Thank you Cassidy and team for this amazing book!

Press Tour was such a refreshing read and honestly one of my favorite second-chance romances I’ve read in a while. Having worked in PR, I was so excited to get this ARC. 🥰

The book follows CC, an assistant at Hot Shot Records, who ends up having to run a press tour for her ex, rising country music star Liam. He also happens to be “the one that got away”. Watching them slowly find their way back to each other had me fully invested in their story.

One thing I really loved that the author did was the use of flashbacks. They didn’t feel random or overdone. They added much needed depth to their relationship and made me understand how their connection grew and why it was so strong in the first place. Which made it impossible not to root for them.

I was also here for the fact that CC didn’t just fall back into love immediately. You really get to see her hesitation, her growth, and her struggle. Going back and forth to figure out the pros and cons. I could see that trying to balance work, love, and the pressure of “having it all,” was hard for her. However, it made her character feel very real and relatable.

Overall, this story felt emotional, mature, and organic in the best way. I loved it and will definitely be reading more from Cassidy Ann. Thank You so much for sharing your work with us.

I just finished the Press Tour in less than 24 hours. Yep it sucked me. It was so good.

This is a second chance, rockstar romance.
Our leading lady Charlotte Cameron is an assistant at a music label in Nashville. Our girl Charlotte is working to get the PR position that just opened up.
So of course her client that is a test for her thanks to the label is the new artist they signed Liam Hayes.

Oh and did I mention the label has a no fraternization policy.

Charlotte and Liam reconnect and we really learn how, and who the relationship ended. This is a good book. There is a tiny bit of spice. The plot was really good. The delving into both characters family of origin to figure out why certain decisions were made was really helpful and relatable.

The other thing I really liked is that we don’t get a story where Liam saves the day, but that Charlotte does some tough self reflecting. She has good friends that also give hard truths. So our girl Charlotte saves herself, and gets a much needed dose of confidence.

I like how the flash backs are done too. It doesn’t feel like you’re in the past for a long time, and then the present. It’s sprinkled in just right.
Loved this book. 4 star read for sure.

I really liked this book. I’m hoping we get a book for Mia and Miller. I loved Mia as a best friend. She is just so good.

I really enjoyed The Press Tour by Cassidy Ann. First of all, it was such a fun surprise to realize Cassidy and I share the same alma mater—the University of Georgia—and I loved catching little UGA-inspired details woven into the college flashbacks. That made this one extra fun for me as a reader.

This was such a sweet, entertaining contemporary romance and one that was just plain enjoyable to read. If you love second chance romance, forced proximity, and “it’s always been you” energy, this one delivers. I also really liked the music industry setting and the behind-the-scenes tour aspect—it gave the story a fun backdrop without taking away from the romance.

One of my favorite things about this book? No third-act breakup. Honestly, that alone deserves applause. It was so refreshing to read a newer contemporary romance that included several of my favorite tropes without leaning on one of my least favorite romance devices.

Overall, this was a fun, heartfelt read with a guaranteed happily ever after, and I would absolutely recommend it—especially if you love music-centered romances or are a fellow Georgia alum looking to support one of our own.

Thank you to Literary Media Tours and Cassidy Ann for the opportunity to read The Press Tour. I truly loved it. I literally ate this book up.

Reading it felt like that moment when you unexpectedly see someone you were once madly in love with and suddenly your heart skips a beat and the butterflies come rushing back. That’s the feeling this story gave me. I felt butterflies, The chemistry between the characters is electric, and the emotional tension of seeing two people reconnect after five years apart makes every interaction feel meaningful and nostalgic.

Cassidy Ann does a wonderful job of bringing out the complicated emotions that come with revisiting a past love, memories, unresolved feelings, and the question of whether two people can find their way back to each other after so much time has passed. The pacing kept me hooked, and I found myself completely invested in the characters and their journey.

Overall, this was such an enjoyable read. If you love second chance romance, emotional tension, forced proximity, and friends to lovers then this is the perfect book for you.

This was such an emotional and heartfelt second-chance romance with all the messy feelings, unresolved tension, and swoony country music vibes I could ask for. From the very beginning, I was hooked by Charlotte and Liam’s complicated history and the way their past lingered in every interaction.

Charlotte was easy to root for as a heroine. She’s ambitious, hardworking, and determined to prove herself in Nashville’s competitive music industry, and I really appreciated how much focus was placed on her career goals alongside the romance. Liam had that perfect mix of charm and vulnerability, and the glimpses into his songwriting and emotions made him impossible not to fall for.

The chemistry between them was undeniable, especially during the tour scenes where they were forced into close quarters while trying to ignore their lingering feelings. The tension, longing, and “what could have been” moments were done so well, and I loved how music played such an important role in their connection.

This was a sweet, aching, and charming romance that will definitely appeal to fans of second chances, country music settings, and emotionally driven love stories.

This book is for anyone that loves second chance romance. The characters are well developed and the story had me enthralled. It follows Liam and Charlotte in both the past and present, as college best friends turned sweethearts, as they both follow their dreams-his of pursuing his music career and hers of pursuing her career while caring for her mother, until space divides them.

The two are brought back together when Charlotte has the chance to do the PR tour to promote Liam's debut album. As Charlotte and Liam spend more time together, they begin to rekindle their romance even though her company has a no-fraternization with clients policy. Charlotte is torn between the one man she has ever loved, and the career she has dreamed of and worked so hard to build.

I am not an emotional person, but Cassidy Ann left a cry ball in my throat for the last quarter of this book. God, I felt everything for Charlotte. I loved how strong and independent she was. This is a second chance love story that I am so glad I read. The plot, the characters, and the execution made this such a great read and I loved the Nashville setting!

CC and Liam are the cutest! Charlotte Cameron’s big dream is to become Nashville’s best publicist that artists beg to work with because she is known for making their dreams come true. She can earn a promotion from assistant to publicist if she can pull together an epic press tour for her record label’s newly signed rising country star in only two weeks-she’s totally got this! Except the new hot star is her ex from college that destroyed her heart when they broke up. It’s fine, totally fine-she is a professional damn it. But Liam is even hotter than she remembers, still just as sweet as she remembers, and tells her this amazing vulnerable heartbreak album he wrote is about her and how he regrets walking away. What’s a girl to do? Well obviously fall back in love with him and try to also keep it a secret so she can get that promotion. We see so many sweet memories of these two in college and reconnecting on the press tour, we get some spicy scenes, and loads of fear and insecurities. Once these two get it together we also get an adorable HEA with a grand gesture thrown in. It was very sweet & I really enjoyed their love story!

ARC Review

This is Liam and Charlotte’s story. They were a couple in college and that ended in heartbreak. Now years later she chosen to be his publicist (not knowing it’s him at first). They are in forced proximity as they must spend the next few weeks working together for his press tour. As much as she tries to avoid those lingering feelings they find their way back in.

This was a brilliantly done story. The amount of emotions in this story is amazing. Cassidy does an amazing job making you feel those emotions.

You get flashback chapters showcasing their relationship from college and I felt that really helped with the emotions and understanding them. You can tell Liam still has the feelings. I just wish this was in dual POV because I would have loved his pov at certain points.

It is spicy and when that first essentially f it moment happens you can’t help but get giddy.

I absolute loved this. I chose to give it 4/5 because of the single PoV and for the events in the end seemed to be rushed but otherwise I loved this and ate it up.

Oh my gosh where do I even begin?!?! First off, absolute 5 star read, everything about this book was perfection!!!

CC & Liam’s love story is the perfect tale of falling in love but having to say goodbye for a little while and then finding your way back to each other when the time is right. 🤍

There is the perfect amount of duel timeline where we see them meet back in college and fall in love, and now as Liam is about to release his first music solo album. I say solo because in college he was in a band with his friends, I would love to know more about them (maybe book 2? *hint hint 😂)

Charlotte is an absolute badass & so incredibly inspiring. She fought for who she loved and the dream of her career and did it in a way that she could have both and didn’t give up when things got hard.

This book comes out on the 12th and I cannot recommend it enough if you want that perfect summer, music, second chance, PR relationship turned more feel of a book. It is everything Nashville is and show cases it perfectly!!

ARC review ❗️ ok so let’s set the scene. Imagine this. All your dreams that you’ve been working hard towards for years are about to come true. Love that for Charlotte. However, within minutes your biggest nightmare unfolds. Yeah I think I’d set the entire building on fire if I had to work with the guy who broke my heart years before, but I hold grudges so. I definitely kept side eyeing Liam in the beginning, but ultimately also fell for him (because who wouldn’t) especially when he wrote an entire heartbreak album about never getting over her 😭😭😭😭😭 This book was such a cute little love story filled with reconciliation and forgiveness, the MMC groveling, country music!!!, the FMC being a total baddie, even though life kept throwing hurdles her way. Overall I loved it and I immediately wanted more to their story. AND A DEBUT NOVEL AT THAT. I’m so exited to meet the author in two weeks and let her know just how much I loved it 🥰
