I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. On New Year's Eve, Becca is at her father's pub, the Chartreuse Clover Pub. When she leaves and is attacked by two drunk patrons, she is rescued by the bar manager, Thorn. He takes her home and she invites him in. They talk and get to know each other before things get hot. Then Thorn sternly warned away by her father and he obeys even though it breaks his heart. When Jensen sees how his order affects both Becca and Thorn, he gives his blessing and helps them get back together. Becca and Thorn marry and continue supporting each other's dreams.

Thorn manages an Irish pub, and Becca is the owner's daughter. This is a short, instalove romance with likable characters, forbidden love, steam, family drama, and a great ending. Thorn is book one and a great start to the Chartreuse Clover Pub series. I look forward to reading the rest of the series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Thorn and Becca

Becca is the boss's daughter and is a soy in New Years Eve at the bar. When Thorn saves her from a couple of drunks he also give a kiss. And a little more when he takes her home. But fathers always get in the way.
