I don’t even know where to start with this book, but I knew going into it that it was going to be my favorite in the series and I was right.
After getting a little glimpse of Haze and Aurora in All That Glitters, I couldn’t wait for their story, and it gave me absolutely everything I hoped for. I laughed, I giggled, I blushed, and there were even a few moments that had me tearing up.
The banter was incredible. I literally love Haze so much. He’s flirty, funny, and has such a fun personality, but what I loved most was who he is at his core. Because of his money, people treat him differently, so he keeps everyone at a distance by acting like this carefree guy who doesn’t care about anything. In reality, he cares so deeply. He has the biggest heart and is so kind, caring, and tender with the people he lets in. And the fact that he calls her “Princess”… the smile on my face every single time!
I’m not sure there’s a page in this book that isn’t highlighted at this point. The details Annah includes are everything. The way Haze noticed that Aurora’s earrings were gold while her necklace was silver and wondered which one she liked better… I absolutely melted.
I adored Aurora and all of the girls. I actually related to Aurora so much, and it meant a lot to see a character like her. She’s more reserved and doesn’t feel the need to talk all the time. She loves being around people she cares about, but she’d rather spend time with a few close friends than go out partying. I don’t think we see enough characters like that, and it really touched my heart.
I also loved watching Aurora open up to Haze. He made her feel comfortable and appreciated. He never made her feel boring or less than because of the things she enjoyed, even though other people had. She doesn’t back down from a challenge, she knew exactly what she wanted, and loved the color pink which, of course, (I adored)
Their relationship was everything I wanted it to be. And the marriage muffins making another appearance? Yes, please! I loved that!
Annah Conwell will always be one of my favorite authors, and I’ll happily read anything she writes. This book left me with the biggest smile on my face, and I already can’t wait for the next one.

Aurora and Hayes were SUCH a fun duo. I loved them so much and their journey towards one another. At first, Aurora is pretty standoffish towards Hayes, and Hayes is a shameless flirt with her. But as they spend more time together, they conversations get more meaningful and real. I love the fake dating trope, and this one was done so well. I thought they had great communication when they finally admit how they feel to one another. From that point on, they were fiercely in each other’s corner. The top-tier banter is present throughout the whole story, which made them so much fun! We see a lot more of the roomies in this one than in books one and two, which was WONDERFUL. I absolutely cannot wait for Saylor’s story next!

This book took me by surprise and met me right where I’m at.
I love Aurora. (We both have princess names, her’s a classic, and mine historical) She’s the kind of blunt and grumpy levels I wish I could let myself be.
And having been a dancer myself, obsessed with ballet in my girlhood, that brought back such a precious piece of myself.
And Hayes. He was just effortlessly intentional. Being whatever she might need was as important to him as air.
This had delicious, sizzling swoon too.
It was just sweet and cozy and a lighthearted balm to minor scrapes of life.

Oh, wow! Let me just start by saying I LOVE Hayes and Aurora so, so much!! Movers and Fakers is the ADORABLE story of Hayes, a billionaire/boxer, and Aurora, a ballet dancer. Hayes is always trying to flirt with Aurora in class and she’s constantly pushing him away. But when he needs a tutor and she seems to be a The class, he enlisted her help. And when he needs a fake girlfriend, he knows just the girl to ask! Clearly, if they set a few rules, nothing can go wrong!
Oh my word, I loved these two so much!! Hayes was the most adorable, incorrigible flirt! He also had the softest, most generous heart and the way he loved and cared for Aurora, whether fake or real dating, just melted my heart! Aurora was both sweet and feisty! I loved how she could hold her own when it came to Hayes, and she was so sweet with he needed her! Literally, the perfect pair!!

Movers and Fakers is the third book in the RomCom University series. Although it can be read as a standalone, it is best read in order of the series because these characters were introduced in the previous books.
This is my favorite book in this series so far! I loved Aurora and Hayes so much. Although Aurora was very against Hayes at the beginning, I loved how quickly he grew on her.
Hayes was so sweet, thoughtful, and romantic. It definitely helped that he was constantly paying attention to what Aurora liked, and he did so many small things that added up as well as some big romantic gestures.
I feel like compared to the other two books in this series, this book had a lot less conflict, and I was completely okay with that. This book was honestly just a fun time the whole way through, and I didn’t find it stressful at all.
Overall, I really liked this book and would recommend it if you like light and fluffy romances.

With the super strong foundation Annah has built with this world, reading the next installment of Aurora and Hayes was really highly anticipated and just so fun to read!
I feel like theres a bit of an Aurora in all of us. And I think we all knew someone like Hayes growing up. This story really felt like a win for the “quiet, unpopular, unsocial” girl that so many of us can relate to. Their extreme different places in life makes for a fun dynamic in their relationship! 🤩
I also loved being thrust into the world of Aurora’s roomates and their boyfriends again as well. The friend dynamic and found family feel is so comforting and Im always jealous of it! 🥰
Overall such a fun read, as usual! A huge thank you to Annah for this amazing ARC!! ❤️

I shouldn’t even be surprised anymore that once I begin reading something from Annah Conwell, I am done with it within 24 hours. But this time, I didn’t want it to end. At all!! Because, yes, it felt exactly like reading fanfiction way back when and binging on DCOMs.

Please don’t ask me to mention every time I squealed, blushed, or giggled through this one because ohmygod there sure was a lot of all of that! Efforts, thoughtfulness, and gestures… that’s honestly all it takes. And when it is well-acknowledged and reciprocated, simply magic! Why would anyone ever want to leave this world!?

Oh, this was just so good!!! I have been waiting for this one and I just loved it! This series just keeps on getting better and better. Movers and Fakers is the third book in Annah Conwell’s RomCom University series.
Aurora and Hayes were the perfect couple. Ugh, I just loved their relationship and the way that he took care of her. I have to admit that at first I wasn’t sure what to think of Hayes but I grew to love him as Aurora grew to love him too. He truly cared for Aurora and just wanted to help her. Their relationship was just the cutest! They truly saw each other and supported each other.
I loved Aurora, she was definitely an introvert but that didn’t stop her from trying to be a good friend. She was smart and she was chasing after her goals. I love how Hayes had a way of bringing her out of her shell but not trying to change her. It was cool to learn more about her since she was more private. I loved seeing her learn to stand up for herself in different ways and how she always chased her dreams.
Hayes was a lot of fun! He was full of life and he loved pushing Aurora’s buttons. But there was also a lot of depth to him. He had big responsibilities in life and he wanted to do everything well. It was cool to also get to know him and see behind his facade. He was a billionaire student but he cared deeply for those in his circle. I loved his relationship with Forrest.

The yearning, the pining, and the banter were all so top tier!
Hayes and Aurora were just amazing! Their chemistry and story drew me in immediately and left me feeling so happy and yet not wanting the story to end.
And oh my word Hayes?! This man! Where can I find a man like him? He’s so kind and considerate of Aurora. I just love everything about him.
I just wanted to give Aurora a hug the whole book. The fact that she felt like she wasn’t worthy of people’s love and that there was no possible way Hayes would love her was just so heartbreaking. That sweet girl needed a hug 😭
I was frustrated with Aurora’s family for part of the book but I’m so glad she spoke up to them and they apologized. It takes an amazing person to apologize for something even when they don’t realize they did it.
I usually don’t like when the MMC is a billionaire because it tends to focus a lot on how he buys the FMC lots of gifts, but I genuinely loved this one! It was so perfect and you could tell how even though Hayes had all that money, he still paid attention to what Aurora wanted and even got her simple things because that’s the type of girl she is.
I cannot recommend this book and all of Annah’s books enough and highly recommend you go read one! You’ll probably end up binging them all 😉

Oh my heart! I was already looking forward to Movers and Fakers by Annah Conwell, but it turned out to be even better than I could have imagined! Talk about a good yank on the heartstrings… and then tying those strings all up in a knot that holds firm until the very end.
I was already so curious to learn more about Aurora, who seems to keep everything very close to the chest, and Hayes-who seems to live life large in the spotlight. This was such a fun take on fake dating between the beautiful black cat (who wraps herself in pink) and the popular, charming flirt who is really just a golden retriever wanting to be valued for who he is…even though few actually really see him.
“She hates this life. She wouldn’t want to be with me for real, based on this alone. The thought makes my chest tight, and I can’t figure out why.”
Reading as they fell for each other was such a delight, and boy, does Hayes yearn for her longer than he is willing to admit to himself! Watching as Aurora softens for Hayes and Hayes shows the more serious and dedicated part of himself to Aurora, the growth of their chemistry and love for one another, and their dedication to achieving their dreams while making room for one another was such a joy. This latest book in the RomCom University series did not disappoint! Hayes and Aurora are total opposites and what we all know is that opposites, when they give themselves a chance, totally work. Aurora (or Rory) is a rising ballerina at school, balancing schoolwork, dance classes as well as teaching a class of little dancers. Hayes seems to have it all: schoolwork is super easy, he is wealthy and his dad has Hayes' life all mapped out (which is why Hayes is in school instead of working at his dad's company). One class this semester threatens to bring his stack of cards teetering down and it just so happens that it is one where Aurora can help as a tutor, giving her the extra cash to pay for an intensive program she needs to attend to rise to the next level as a dancer.
What follows is some really electric chemistry, laugh out loud banter and one bit of a crazy stalker chick that forces the two to "fake date" to throw the stalker off. As always, as they get to know each other, they realize that they have more in common than not and the seeds of romance begin to bloom.
When I read the previous book in this series, I wasn't sure how the story between Hayes and Aurora would play out but, once I picked this book up, I could not put this book down and now can't wait for the next installment in the series

I originally expected this to be a bit of a grumpy/sunshine trope story, but it’s actually more of an introvert/extrovert story, which I absolutely adore, because it allows both personality traits to shine in their own way. Aurora (introvert) is a reserved, deep thinking ballerina on the outside, and a computer science prodigy on the inside. She meets Hayes (extrovert), who at first glance appears to be nothing more than a rich, flirty playboy with no serious side.
But of course there is more…
My favorite part of the story was watching Aurora realize that Hayes is more than he seems, because he slowly lowers his defenses to let her see the sides of him that nobody else gets to encounter. I really love the “friendship to more” stories, and despite the fact that at the beginning of this story, Aurora doesn’t actually like Hayes, they soon become friends, which is super sweet to read.
Annah hit the jackpot with this one, and it would have been an awesome series ending book, but we’re lucky enough that there will be one more coming after this one, since Saylor’s story is last. I wasn’t sure how she would top Jamieson and Marigold’s story, but she did with this one, so I’m going to keep faith that she can do it again!

Aurora and Hayes' romance was the cutest! Once I started this book, it completely took over my mind, and I couldn't stop thinking about the story or when I'd get to pick it back up.
Aurora has been accepted into the ballet program of her dreams, but paying for it is another story. That is, until billionaire Hayes offers her more than enough money to tutor him in one of his classes. She's not so sure about spending so much time with the flirty fighter, but the more time they spend together, the closer they become. When fake dating seems to benefit them both, their feelings only grow stronger. But it's hard to know what's real, what's fake, and what can last beyond their arrangement.
I loved this! Hayes and Aurora's journey from classmates to friends to something more was everything I wanted. Their friendship and the way they constantly supported and encouraged each other was priceless. This series has been wonderful, and I cannot wait for Saylor and Graham's story!

I loved this! Hayes and Aurora's journey from classmates to friends to something more was everything I wanted. Their friendship and the way they constantly supported and encouraged each other was priceless. This series has been wonderful, and I cannot wait for Saylor and Graham's story!

Boy did I fly through this book!! I was in a massive reading slump, but this for sure got me out of it.
First of all, I am absolutely in love with this series! The way Annah writes the books to be interconnected without being too similar is truly amazing. The Easter eggs between the books are one of my favorite things about her writing (especially in this series).
Now… oh my goodness did I love Aurora and Hayes (or should I say princess and prince charming 🤭). Their relationship was so sweet and wholesome. Honestly you can’t go wrong with a reverse grumpy/sunshine. Not to mention the character development they each had. Also the character development was subtle, but boy was it beautiful.
I obviously don’t want to spoil too much, but the way Hayes spoils Aurora is so so so cute. The way he notices the things she likes and doesn’t like without having to ask?? Absolute green flag. Her coffee order? The earrings?? Oh my goodness did I kick my feet and giggle at those parts.
This book would be the absolute best book to read on a rainy autumn day. Especially if you need a page turner or are in a reading slump.
Overall, Annah Conwell wrote such a beautiful classic romcom. It was so cute and funny, and truly had me kicking my feet and giggling. (ps. you should definitely read the authors note of this book because it’s her 20th book and she talks about her inspiration for this book 🫶🏼)

Annah was the first romcom author that I read when I was first getting into romance, and she’s been one of my favorite authors since. Despite that, I was nervous to read this story because I don’t usually enjoy these types of characters as much as I do others — black cat FMCs and super flirty MMCs are not usually my speed.
But Annah did not let me down! She made these characters round and real, gave them great character arcs, and by the end of the book I really, really loved both of them. I found myself totally bought into their love story, and it was so sweet 💕 I was sad to read another MC with crappy parents (seems like a really common theme in Annah’s books), but since these books are about younger college aged characters, it makes sense that their parents still feature heavily in their stories and it’s a reliable way to bring conflict into the book.
Bottom line: read it, you’ll love it. I would recommend reading the other books in the series first 🫶🏼

This was freaking adorable, and tons of fun. Look, I’m a married woman of 38 with 4 kids. Am I the target audience for this story? No, probably not. And no, I shan’t be swooning over a “book boyfriend,” no matter how precious and single-minded he is about his girl, because nothing beats my college sweetheart of 19 years (married for 16). But books like “Movers & Fakers” prove that sweet love stories are still being written. Where quiet moments with ice cream are better than fancy dinners; flirty banter between classes is where it’s at; grand gestures at the right time to make you swoon; and commitment without going beyond kisses are possible. And I’m honored that Annah would have an “old woman” like me on her ARC team, it’s loads of fun. Congrats on your 20th book, Ms. Authoress! “Movers and Fakers” comes out early August 2026.

This book was pretty in pink perfection from start to finish. The chemistry between Aurora and Hayes was absolute fire, and the dialogue was next-level. The comebacks were so spectacular that I found myself reading faster just to see what they’d say to each other next—and don't even get me started on the nicknames. They were spot-on.
Not only was the fake relationship one of the absolute best I’ve read in a long time, but both characters actually had meaningful personal growth alongside their romance. Add in a stellar group of supportive friends, and this became an instant favorite. Highly recommend! I wasn't ready for it to end and desperately want more.

It was SO much fun to get Aurora’s book! Honestly I was a little bit hesitant about how Hayes character was going to be but I enjoyed seeing his growth throughout this story. I’m so glad that we got his point of view so I could witness that growth and change.
The group of friends is my favorite part of these stories. It’s very sweet and I have been so excited to get Saylor’s story too because it makes me so sad that she is still waiting!
All in all of you want a fun group of friends that find their love in college you should definitely pick up this series. It is just so sweet.

4.5 💫 This is such a sweet college romance. It’s definitely one of my favorite of Anna’s—something about Hayes being a fighter and Aurora being a ballerina works together perfectly. Though there were things I would’ve liked to see more of—potentially the fighting ring, and maybe something about their future and also how he changed his future from what was planned for him. Maybe there will be a future epilogue of all 4 girls happily married, which I would love to see. Also the last scene of muffins! I wish we would’ve gotten to see Hayes’ reaction.
But Anna is always so good at writing tension, banter, and swooniness.
I’d say this is the kind of book I would’ve gobbled up as a teenager and college student, and I still did today.

I've been excited about Aurora's book since I knew it was coming at the start of the series. I was less sure about Hayes when we met him in the previous book, but man... This book did NOT disappoint! Hayes is such an amazing giver - he gives his all to protect and care and see e Aurora in everything she needs (and even the things she doesn't know she needs)! This book I think technically could be read as a stand alone, but I wouldn't recommend it - there's a lot of relational history between the roommates that would be pretty missing without the first two books. I read an early version of the book from the author, dive into this book as soon as you can!

I really love this book. I was so excited to get this book and finally get a book that I wanted to read and didn’t wanna put down. Annah Conwell is always good at doing that.
I love the dynamic between the male lead and the female lead. I love that there’s a dancer and a boxer. I love their banter, even though Aurora is more of a quieter person who’s more internal with her emotions, I still felt like a good job at letting her be true to those characteristic and giving her good insight. I love Hayes. I think he is awesome. I mean he’s a billionaire and charming so that’s really nice. I really like how he takes care of Aurora and he cares about her and she drops his cocky attitude for her.

There’s so much to love in this romcom adventure. Starting with Hayes: He is a golden retriever. He gets himself into a fake dating situation with the woman he wants to date in real life. Then he teases and encourages and supports her, acting like they are really dating, not fake dating. Aurora: Independent, driven, serious. She doesn’t know what to make of Hayes. She believes his reputation for being a player and can’t believe he’s serious about her. Such a fun, warm, cozy and comforting book. It makes you want to treat the ones you love better.

This was such a sweet book! I loved Aurora and Hayes’s characters so much!! 😍 I can relate to Aurora’s feelings of being too boring and quiet, so it was really touching to see how much Hayes loved her and made her feel lovable. As always I enjoyed all of the interactions between the roommates and how the girls always have each other’s back. I can’t wait to finally get Saylor’s book, because we all know exactly who she loves, even if she doesn’t yet!

Giggles and toe wiggles are never ending with this story! A MUST read. I super duper loved the enemies tension that builds up and explodes into fireworks. Hot and steamy kisses in this clean, closeddoor, college romcom. A billionaire/struggling financially dynamic. There are no swears, alcohol consumed by side-characters at a frat party/underground boxing fight. Main characters are underage and don't drink until a sip at a dinner with billionaire parents. Didn't really like that but that's life. There are only hot and steamy kisses that end with kisses. Dual POV.

I read this book in one day because I didn’t want to put it down, but had to a couple times because responsibilities. Annah Conwell books are always a must read for me, and always move to the top of my TBR because they are so good. I absolutely loved Hayes and Aurora! Their interactions and banter are so good! This quote from Hayes made me laugh so much and fits him so well: “I guess I could talk to a woman without flirting with her. Not sure I’ve ever tried it, though.”

I truly don’t understand how Annah Conwell’s books just keep getting better! Each on exceeds my expectations and they are already high! She has set a very high bar and clears it every time. Aurora and Hayes are just magic. His pining for her. Her reluctant falling that leads to an amazing “he’s mine” moment? **CHEF’S KISS**. Saylor’s book is next and now I’m regretting reading through these so fast because I have to wait for hers. These stories give me life! Just, SO GOOD!!!
