When Bree signs up for DreamTogether as a surrogate, she hopes to get matched with Arthur Mangelli, the satyr she’s been crushing on at yoga class. But what she gets? Arthur and his two husbands, Bennett and Jack, who are all in the throes of rutting season—and each of them wants a turn with her on the breeding bench.
When breeding is over, though, Arthur, Bennett, and Jack walk away changed. Now all three of them are craving her, and their need to mate is nearly overwhelming. But DreamTogether is anonymous—or so they thought. When Bree’s work as a cam girl brings Arthur and Bennett to her doorstep, the lines blur between the breeding bench and real life.
Though Arthur and Bennett are ready to claim Bree as part of their herd, Jack’s painful past may just unravel everything.
Lyonne Riley writes super steamy monster romance, fantasy romance, and sci-fi romance. She lives in the middle of nowhere with her spouse and two dogs, writing spicy fairy tales.
And the last book went out with a bang. Why choose, cozy, slice of life, and buckets of drama and spice.
I think this might be the longest of the four books in this series, which was a great idea because I do not think it would have been as fun if it had been shorter. One of the main problems with why choose books that have multiple MMCs is that they can all start to feel the same or come across a little flat. I found that I knew everyone in this book, and they all had clear personalities.
While it is not the best why choose book I have ever read, it was quick, fun, packed with spice and drama, and had a clear storyline, even if it was not especially deep.
I could easily eat this book up while drinking a cup of tea and eating a biscuit. Given the length of the book, I think the author did a great job of fitting so much into it. Sure, there were things I would have loved to see changed or expanded on, but overall it was an easy read.
If you like a quick, dirty, fun read with more than one monster love interest, then this might be the book for you.
The highlights for me had to be the upped stakes in this book. Everything felt more important, and the ending had a much bigger payoff. I also loved getting to see a different group of monsters in each book. That was one of my favorite parts of the whole series.
The only thing I really wished for was that the books had been longer. I would have happily read another hundred pages or so if it meant getting even more time with the characters and story.
Successful cam girl Bree has been lusting after the gorgeous - and presumably g@y - satyr at her yoga class for ages. When he strikes up a conversation with her about he and his two husbands’ interest in hiring someone from the DreamTogether surrogacy agency, Bree wants very much to be the hired womb, especially knowing it would involve all three of the males and her, br33ding in the traditional way, which is hands on.
Gym teacher and satyr Arthur has always assumed he was g@y full stop, but he’s been having very carnal thoughts about his fellow yoga student Bree. When he and his husbands show up to DreamTogether for their ins3mination sesh, hubby Bennett recognizes her immediately, but doesn’t let on as he’s sheepish about admitting he’s watched her streaming performances for a long time. Arthur figures out about Bree and makes plans to see her on the sly, certain Jack would never understand based upon a betrayal he experienced at the hands of a woman, and eventually Bennett joins him once Bree’s confirmed to be carrying their fawn.
The breadwinner and buck of their marriage, Jack becomes suspicious when his husbands start attending yoga classes and socializing after work together, without him, so he tracks them to Bree’s apartment where he interrupts a live show starring the three of them. Angry and feeling betrayed, he berates Bree and ices out his two spouses, kicking off a chain of heartbreaking events.
After the four try to salvage their shared goal of producing a fawn while sorting through the relationship dynamics, yet another threat looms against their budding family.
How on earth will all these very different individuals work together toward a HEA? Is it even possible to hope for one?
First of all, this was classic Lyonne Riley: shame has no place here, whether for profession, species, size, or orientation, and that rules. Secondly, it’s steamy as all get out, humorous and tender all at the same time.
I was fortunate to have received an advance reader copy from the author, and I’m pleased to share my honest review.
Because I want it. I want the new house. I want the fawn. I want my husbands. And I want Bree sharing that life with me, too.
Bred by the Satyrs is the fourth instalment in the adult monster romance series, DreamTogether Breeding Program. This particular book is polyamory but each novel is interconnected standalone. Written in multi first person POV the story follows Bree, Arthur, Bennett, and Jack. Bree has always had a crush on fellow yoga attendee, Arthur, and when she hears he and his husbands are thinking of signing up for DreamTogether with hopes of having a fawn she decides this is her opportunity to potentially match with him. While the surrogacy program is anonymous and they were meant to be able to walk away, they find themselves changed...especially when they find each other outside the anonymity of DreamTogether. Can these four unravel the attraction growing between them or will the past keep everything strictly to the breeding bench?
If you love spicy breeding fun with a heart warming journey then this is a cute read you'll want to pick up!
Bree is a sweetheart who is so open and I loved her for that. She is a cam girl and I love how that makes her adventurous and opens the guys up to new desires that hadn't really been considered before.
Arthur, Bennett, and Jack are a married pack that feel something is missing from their dynamic but a jaded past from Jack's end and a need to protect from Arthur and Bennett mean they have just put band aids on bullet wounds. Bennett's sneaky watching of Bree's cam girl videos prior to their first meeting highlight that. Arthur is the golden retriever who just wants everyone together - I love how Bree is his first female love and how hard he goes for it. I liked Jack's earnest push to do right after he screws up and I liked Bennett realizing how much his needs matter just as much as Jack's.
In terms of spice this book is 5 spicy peppers out of 5 spicy peppers. There are approximately 14 spicy scenes with the first scene around the 6% mark. The three satyrs are in an established relationship which gives us some spice earlier but also this book is about breeding so expect that kinky elements to be in place. The spice is explicit and detailed and involves multi partner scenes. This is polyamorous as all the characters are involved with each other. I felt the spice was fun and passionate, especially as each character learns something new about themselves in the spice. Oh, and the satyrs are in rutting season in the first half.
The story is very much character driven with some overarching plot around Bree and a client from her cam girl job that is causing problems. We very much focus on Arthur realizing he wants Bree, Bennett realizing how much he needs Bree in his herd, Jack having to come to terms with his past, and Bree realizing she has signed up for so much more than imagined...and loves it. There is tension brought on by Jack not wanting a female in their life as well as fertility struggles (check triggers). I felt the conflict with the client was super deep but it added to the climax. I enjoyed having lots of time with the characters together healing and taking care of each other. For Bree specifically independence is something she's so used to so turning to these amazing satyrs was new for her. The ending is incredibly sweet and there is a bonus story that really wowed me.
Overall, this was so cute and heartfelt! I could not get enough!
I did state in Book 3 that I'll DNF this series but here we go again.
I don't why I keep on reading these DreamTogether series because I don't think I like the concept and this series.
Hear me out. I love Lyonne Riley, and always wanted to support her so here I am.
Bree signed up to be a surrogate in DreamTogether when she found out that her crush, Arthur, is signing up to be a dad together with his husbands, Bennett and Jack. Once done, Arthur found out that Bree's their surrogate and they took their relationship outside the facility.
I flew through this book ngl so when I was writing down the summary, it kinda made me icky.
First off, we are in a multiple POV which I appreciate because we get their inner thoughts and processes on what made them chose that decision and how they felt.
Might go in a rant here.
I do think that Bree was a bit manipulative with how she did the whole DreamTogether surrogate decision. Arthur here is gay but had his bi-awakening when he was with Bree and I don't think that was made justice, idk how to put it. I read a lot of queer MM romances and the bi-awakening is somewhat a big deal or somewhat an identity crisis, while others handle it with a lot of thoughts. But with Arthur, it was just like a blip in the universe, like instant wham bam, like Arthur was gay for the sake of being gay in the story.
Now we move to Bennett. In this story, Bree is a cam girl who does stuff online and had a persona as Sienna. Bennett is a long-time watcher of Sienna and when he 'met' their surrogate, he knew it was Sienna. Idk how to feel if I was in Jack's position where I found out my husband is watching someone doing lewd things online. I think I got the right to be angry. Anyways, when he found out about Arthur and Bree together, both of them made the decision to keep things from Jack. Bree didn't even ask more questions about it and took it all in stride.
In Jack's defense, he got trauma with a girl who used him and took advantage of his love. All reasonable. Then he found out about the betrayal with Arthur and Bennett in the worst possible way, and I do think he's valid with how he goes about their first dinner together with Bree. All he wanted was to protect his husbands and his marriage, he lashed out he was mean and it was an appropriate response imo. I am a Jack apologist. Sue me.
When Bree got a miscarriage, I felt for her. And I did love how the guys banded together to take care of her and how they all handled the experience with care.
As we move along the story, it was a bit better because they got to know one another, they spend time and their relationship progressed really well but I still had that resentment of my issues with the first half that no emotional happy ending redeemed itself in the book.
Anyway, this is my sign to not read this series anymore because this is just not it for me.

I absolutely love the Dream Together series and this one was another great addition to the series. However, there are some things in this book that were a little off to me.
First off, Bree and Arthur are close friends and go to yoga together. Arthur is 100% gay and married to 2 other male satyrs. Bree, however, has a crush on him and when she finds out him and his husbands want a surrogate to carry their baby, she immediately encourages him to do so and goes home to sign up to try and be said surrogate. Problem #1- she wants a gay married man and plans to do the deed with him in secret. Well, she ends up getting the role. Problem #2- what a coincidence. She JUST signed up and she gets the job? When she’s in the room with all three satyrs, one of them recognizes her as a cam girl he watches online behind his husbands’ backs. Problem #3 & #4- another coincidence he knows her and watches her or ALL cam girls online and also how does Arthur not recognize her? Well, a few days later, Arthur does put 2 and 2 together and they decide to secretly hook up behind everyone’s back. Problem #5- this is borderline infidelity. He mentions satyrs have open relationships as if they all just do what they want with whoever. He makes it not seem like a big deal (more on this later) Well he hooks up with her on her cam site and guess who finds out…the husband who watches her. So now he gets involved and is hooking up behind the third husband’s back. But they swear they have to keep it a secret and he can’t know. This feels like cheating. If you don’t like cheating, you may get a little riled up during this book. I was fine with it because I like angst and I knew there was a HEA at the end between them all. But when Jack finds out, he def plays the villain role for a while for running Bree off and threatening his husbands.
Eventually I came to love Jack as much as the other 2 satyrs and I loved the spicy scenes between all involved. I’m normally just an M/F person but I enjoyed this very much. There are sad parts there are angry parts there are scary parts…this book has a lot. With all the problems I mentioned, I did still read it in one day and enjoy it. More happens in the book than what I mentioned and if you enjoy the Dream Together series and breeding and multiple partners, you will like this.
BONUS: The epilogue for this book is a novella in itself. If you like sharing the love and more is better, you will like it. If you’re like me and like a story as is and want nothing to change and don’t want to add more people to the mix because it feels like cheating to develop a crush when you’re married, I don’t know if you will like that they add another satyr to the marriage as well as another child. It just felt like too much to me.
2.5 ⭐️ UGH wanted to rate this higher but tbh, I think I am still being generous 🥴
Listen, I love Lyonne Riley & her books. I have had a great time with some of them. I like this series in general, too. I DNF’d “Bred by the Wolfman” because of the cheating (which I didn’t know was gonna happen, that’s on me for not checking) & I was *thisclose* to DNF’ing this one because of the “borderline” infidelity. “Borderline” in quotes because while they say that they have an “open marriage”, everything about it felt & read like infidelity, and it felt icky to me.
AND THEN, what really made me angry, was that Jack was treated like the villain for his extremely valid crash-out/reaction??? Why was he made the bad guy??? Why did he spend more time groveling and apologizing for his (understandable) crash-out than the other two did for the lying?? I was mad at that.
The tension of the book would have been, I think, better if it had just been the stalker subplot. That subplot really only had a brief moment, almost like an afterthought than a full-fledged thing, which was a bit disappointing.
Appreciate all the men were supportive of her job & recognized it for the hard work it was. I am glad they got their HEA, but I do think that if I hadn’t powered through and read this in one day, I might not have finished.
TL;DR — not my favorite of this series, and I would classify this as a bit of a step beyond “lying to your spouse” and more “borderline infidelity.” (I am still going to read the extended novella-epilogue from Lyonne’s newsletter, though)

“I love how pathetic my husbands are for Bree.” Who else has been enjoying the DreamTogether series?! This is the final book in the series! Buckle upppppp we have an MMMF group situation where we all love to take turns! The heat is hot hot hot and the rut is ONNNNNNNNN!!!!!
⭐️Overall 4.25/5 stars ⭐️
***Please check the content list, there are some heavy topics in this book. Your mental health matters.***
This book is absolutely full to the brim with breeding and heat! I loved that some of the characters were familiar with each other before they did the deed at DreamTogether (hehehe). The chemistry is out of this world! I loved these three satyrs and Bree was a certified bad@$$ that I want to be friends with. I had so much fun reading this!
Lyonne Riley really knows how to bring her characters together FAST and write incredibly hot chemistry and lusty thoughts well! I absolutely devoured this book!
What’s Inside ❤️ Satyrs x human ❤️ MMMF ❤️ Rut Season ❤️ Breeding Program ❤️ Cam Girl ❤️ Friends to lovers
ARC Review of Bred by the Satyrs by Lyonne Riley releasing June 19th. This is the final book in the DreamTogether series of interconnected standalones. This can be read as a complete standalone.
I was gifted a copy of this book by the author. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Thank you!
*4.5 stars* I ended up really loving this book! I always like in a Why Choose when all the MMCs have different personalities. In this case, Arthur was the lovable himbo, Bennett was the soft and caring type and Jack was the strong and demanding one. Bouncing between all the different dynamics between Bree and the boys was so fun. It gives you everything you can ask for! In the beginning, it was a bit difficult for me since the lines were blurred between open relationship and cheating, which pertains to Arthur and Bennett’s relationship with Jack. They all ended up working it out in the end tho, with Jack ending up being my favorite!
The spice was exactly how I mentioned earlier; all the boy different personalities peeking through to give the scenes a different vibe. I couldn’t get enough of everyone’s dynamics and I’m sure Bree couldn’t either. It was so easy to feel wrapped up in the Satyrs, with all three of them really showing up for Bree and not pressuring her for anything. This was definitely a fun time with all the angst getting out of the way towards the beginning and middle. I definitely recommend for a monster why choose!
⭐️ARC REVIEW⭐️ Poly romance isn't always my cup of tea but IN LYONNE I TRUST. And boy did this truly delivered. I just adore all the love and the unique relationships between all of the characters from Arthur and Bree sharing their yoga classes and he admired her independent and thoughtful outlook, to Bennet respecting her online cam girl job and acknowledging her desires as apart of her, to Jack reluctantly opening his heart to her and seeing how fiercely she cares for all of them. Their relationships balanced each other in such beautiful and thoughtful ways, despite some of their "coincidental" meet ups that lead to their ultimate relationship. I also have to mentioned how beautifully such a sensitive topic of loss was handled, not only from the satyrs but in the way grief and comfort were portrayed - it had me teary eyed. And when things get tense I KNEW Jack would be such a protector, it was fun to see him really run head first into that role (you'll see lol). A wonderful conclusion to this spicy series!!
I love this series so much and making it a why choose only makes it better.
I love the dynamics of these 4 right from the start. Bree has a huge crush on her yoga buddy Arthur, who is gay and wants to be a dad. Bennett has always wanted to have a woman in their herd, but Jack has sworn off women after a brutal heartbreak. However, after their first trip to DreamTogether, Arthur realizes he might like women, as long as its Bree. And Bennett instantly falls for her.
Their love story isn't simple, but once these 4 are all on the same page, they are so sweet and perfect.
If you are sensitive to cheating, this might be too much for you, read below the warning for more info.
**** mild spoiler *****
Bennett and Arthur pursue Bree without telling Jack. They say that satyrs are open and poly to excuse it, but it really hurts Jack when he finds out.
I've said it once, I'll say it again, I'll say it till I'm blue in the face. These Dream Together books are straight up fire in my veins. They are everything i love in a book and Lyonne Riley just hit it out of the park EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I could read 50 of these books in various monsters and not get bored. If anything it will fuel the fire even more. It's so hard to put into words how much i loved this. Athur, Bennett and Jack are all happy together when they want a fawn and it changed their lives more than they thought possible. I didn't want to put this down, I could read about these 4 forever!
Ok I wasn’t planning on crying in this one Lyonne how dare you?! 😭😂
The completion of the Dreaming together series and I just wanted to say that it was the perfect closure. I enjoyed every book so much, all of them are unique in their own way, some developed deeper in the program and others (like this one) are more focused about what happens outside of it and both ways are so good!
I really enjoyed the Satyrs, they were so passionate but fun and easygoing and even when things got antsy and honestly had me tearing up, I felt for them as much as Bree!
This was such a cozy, cute, angsty, flirty and tense monster romance. Arthur, Bennett and Jack are a herd of satyrs ready to have a family. After going through a surrogate service Bennett and Arthur discover who their surrogate is and they both know her separately. Jack is a wild card since he has a traumatic past that leads Bennett and Arthur to believe he would not want any more with their surrogate like they do. What will they do or should they do?
This book has a few uncomfortable moments but overall is such a cute and spicy book with lots of longing angst and tenderness as well.
So I really enjoy this series and I was excited for this one. I ended up loving the whole herd however Arthur and Bennett along with Bree really had to earn back my love after the situation with Jack (that was a rough one) however it did all work out in the end.
SPOILER: There is a (somewhat) cheating trope situation within the group concerning Arthur and Bennett not being honest to Jack about Bree. It definitely hurt but was NOT a bad cheating trope thing.
OMG I think this one is my favorite in this series . I love all the books in this series but this one was amazing. I love Bree because she’s a strong FMC . I love all the MMC’s Arthur is so sweet and caring and of course he meets Bree at Yogi and she’s been crushing on him . So , of course they got it off . Then you have Bennet who finds out about Bree and what she does he’s all In. Now Jack is the strong character and of course stubborn but it will all work in the end . By the way I love Jack . Great writing as always
Okay this was great. Check the triggers because it mentions pregnancy loss and birth. But this was absolutely fabulous and I signed up and got the epilogue which was also pretty freaking awesome and all i needed it to be. Bree is one lucky lady. And this is one spicy happy satyr family.
the IDIC (infinite diversity in infinite complexity of keeping a polyamorous collective happily slotting various tabs in various slots sighing, moaning, and spurting SO Everyone gets their emotional and sexual needs met sounds challenging and rewarding
