My gawddd, these two were freaking cute. Seriously, both of them had me completely soft. The things they kept saying to each other? Helllooooo??? I was practically melting into a puddle the entire time. I kept thinking, "Guys, please stop, I can't handle this level of sweetness." (Just kidding, please never stop). I loved them together so much it’s not even funny.
This book was absolute perfection if you love a story packed with the sweetest, most heart-melting moments, incredible found family, and rock-solid friendships that make you wish you were part of the group. The humor and playful banter had me smiling the entire time, balancing out the emotional depth really well. Add in the neurodivergent-friendly care, and you get an unputdownable romance that hits every single right note.
Honestly, I need an Oskar in my life immediately🥹
The romance was so beautifully detailed, especially all those small, thoughtful touches Oskar used as a constant reminder that he was right there. Imagine being someone who gets overwhelmed and claustrophobic in crowded places, and your partner just instinctively knows how to ground you—a hand gently placed on your back, a thumb softly caressing your knuckles... (Excuse me while I fan myself). Oh god, those soft touches and knowing looks absolutely stole the show.
I just understand that one argument where I really didn't like how Oskar talked to him. That specific interaction was pretty much the only moment in the whole book that rubbed me the wrong way.
On a brighter note, as far as sports romances go, I was so relieved that the media didn't play a massive, annoying role in the plot. It was such a refreshing change of pace because seriously, screw media intrusion and their complete lack of respect for privacy.
Overall, a total sweet, heartwarming read with amazing character dynamics❤️

"Want to come down here?" I ask Thor, nodding toward the empty seat next to me. "Better view."
He laughs again, and damn, even that sounds flirty.
"I am not sure," he says. "The view is already excellent when you are standing."
I stare at him for a moment before it clicks. He's talking about my ass.
My cheeks burn, and what the actual fuck? Since when do I blush? I rub my jaw as if that will help. Then I wink, something I do about as often as I blush. "Come on down. I'll upgrade you.”
"I also hoped to meet good-looking men here,” he says. “This is now accomplished."
My cheeks heat up again, so I try to distract him with a smirk. "Duly noted."
"Only duly? That is all I get?"
He leans back, and when his shirt rides up, I gasp. His abs should be illegal in a family stadium.
"Brought a ton of food," I say, tapping the box next to me. "Hope you're hungry."
He nods at his bag. “I bought some too, tutor. What'd you bring?"
I giggle. I fucking giggle. Mortifying.
"Goodnight, Kai. Du är så skön."
"What does that mean?" I ask, trying to ignore the thrill racing up my spine.
"It means you are comforting to be around. My brain goes quiet when I touch you."
OSKAR: We just got to Condors Arena. I'd say good luck in tonight's game, but...
KAI: Yeah. Same.
When we pull apart, I keep my forehead pressed to his. “Never do that again," I whisper.
Ozzy huffs a soft laugh. "I will do my best not to get run over by your teammates."
I should laugh. Instead, I hold on tighter.
"Kai," he whispers.
My throat burns so much I have to swallow before I can say, "You were just lying there. And I didn't..."
Ozzy's expression is so soft it almost hurts to look at. He kisses the corner of my mouth. "Baby, I'm okay."
I nod, but I don't let him go.

I don’t know how to explain this book other than it was perfect. Everything about it. I loved it so much, I just can’t 🥹
I have my fair share of diagnoses that make me take any type of neurodivergence pretty close to heart.
And oh my God, did Kai get to my heart 😭
Huge thanks to the authors for how they portrayed all those details - LEGO, water on the floors, reset room, how he couldn’t read messages, peeking through his fingers.. This one especially gutted me, since it’s something I personally battle with almost every day 😭 And struggling with responses was the absolute end of me 😭

Oscar's patience with Kai's Neuro divergence. The way they handled being goalies on opposing teams. The way they handled falling in love and being together, overcoming obstacles and not breaking each other's hearts.

I’ve read one book by these two and I was instantly and totally hooked from this two.
Oskar and Kai were just so sweet and everything they I didn’t know I needed. They had the cutest moments that made me want more from these two.
I absolutely love how they bump into one another and it’s instant attraction.
Things get a little interesting when Oskar didn’t tell Kai exactly what he did for a living.
I love the dynamic of them being rivals on the ice but off the ice, they are just so much more. And the text messages were so freaking cute.
And the moment Ozzy doesn’t move makes me sweat just like Kai was feeling.
And the found family was so everything I didn’t know I needed. I love found family when they just accept you who you are no matter what.
And Kai’s neurodivergence was so beautiful written. To see how he was feeling was so cute and I enjoyed seeing where his mind was truly at. Oskar is everything that Kai needs and I’m here for all these moments. Their love is so beautiful and makes me eager for more and more from these two beautiful souls.
I absolutely loved this book and I cannot wait to see what’s next.

I was so excited to get an advance copy book from the Authors!
Omg! This book is just super sweet. Yes it has all the hockey and chirping. What love most about this book is the vulnerability of both Kai and Oskar.
Oskar moved from Sweden to play professional hockey. He’s bumps into Kai and they hit it off right away. Oskar didn’t tell Kai what’s his job. But this beautiful Swedish man is everything that Kai ever needed and wanted.
Kai is an openly gay hockey player who is neurodivergent. He’s jaded by his past and has his walls built so strong. So when he meets Oskar they start off as friends. Then things get a bit more serious and Kai panics and shut ozzy out.
Kai being vulnerable and open with ozzy was the most sweetest moment ever. Ozzy just letting him speak freely and making sure Kai knew he loved him no matter what.
Gosh they both played for rival teams. But that didn’t deter what they felt for each other on the ice the are rivals off they ice they are partners in love living their authentic life.
I loved to see Packy and Nico!! And they’re found family accepting ozzy into their family was truly beautiful.

First things first, I think Crease Collision has my new favorite book couple from Ryan and Josh. Kai and Oskar were everything!
I love a book that doesn’t make you wait to see the connection between the MCs, and we definitely had that here. There was an immediate, palpable chemistry between these guys from page 1-2. I loved getting to enjoy their initial week together, rather than perhaps just hearing about it after the fact. Despite Kai’s reservation, it was apparent they had something real. And kudos for Oskar for jumping right in and fighting for what he saw there.
Speaking of Oskar, what a walking green flag he was! I adored the way he was a strength and support for Kai, understanding how to be that for him before he even truly had the full story of what Kai was dealing with. Even with his own fears, he gave Kai the space he needed, but also demanded the communication when it was necessary. And don’t even get me started on his Swedish! Though hard fought, it was so sweet to see Kai finally able to let down his walls.
Other than the characters, one of my favorite parts of this book was the fantastic play-by-play during the games. I read a lot of hockey romance, and Ryan’s and Josh’s game commentary is top-tier. It added a lot to the story without being too much. And of course, we had some great appearances from beloved characters in other connected series. Ryan Taylor and Joshua Harwood gave us so much more than a hockey romance—they gave us a beautiful story about love, trust, vulnerability, and finding someone who truly sees you.
What stood out to me most was Kai. His neurodivergence is portrayed with so much authenticity, care, and respect. It isn’t treated as something to overcome or “fix”—it’s simply part of who he is. His thought processes, the way he experiences the world, and even the small details of how he navigates everyday life felt incredibly genuine. Watching him slowly learn that he could be completely himself with Oskar was one of the most moving parts of the story.
Oskar is everything Kai needs—patient, perceptive, supportive, and unwavering in the way he loves him. He never asks Kai to change; he simply takes the time to understand him. Their relationship is built on communication, trust, and acceptance, and because of that, every emotional moment felt real and deeply earned.
The hockey is phenomenal. Every game had me completely immersed, and having two rival goalies at the center of the story made every victory and heartbreak even more emotional. Add in the Condors’ hilarious banter and incredible found-family dynamic, and I never wanted to leave this world.
And that epilogue… I honestly couldn’t have imagined a more perfect ending for Kai and Oskar. It was heartfelt, peaceful, and left me with the biggest smile.

Honestly this one pulled me in from the very first page and never let go. Every emotional moment landed exactly where it should. The characters felt so vivid, and I was completely caught up in watching them push past everything holding them back.
The chemistry was scorching, but the heart underneath it gave the story its depth. Seeing them figure out what they truly needed in each other made every chapter matter.
The banter was a highlight. The teammates constantly sticking their noses in brought the perfect mix of humor and chaos.
The hockey scenes had so much energy. I could feel the speed, the tension, the rush of the game like I was right there on the ice.

Kai told himself that he should put a stop to whatever was happening. Then he went help a teammate and tried to distance himself from Oskar. Oskar stayed and didn’t give up. Kai and Oskar meet at a baseball game and decide to hook up. The hook up becomes friends with benefits but there's a slight disruption when they find out they are both goalies for different teams in the HFNA. I love they decide to be more and Kai chooses to adjust with his neurodivergency. Oskar is so sweet and cool about everything adding to his Swedish Thor allure. Full of emotions, steam, support from friends and teammates and most of all, love. This one is special and unforgettable.

The book opens hot and fast, packed with secrets from chapter one, then eases into an almost slow burn romance as Kai and Oskar's connection deepens and they figure out their feelings.
I loved Kai and Oskar together. Two goalies is such a fun dynamic, goalies are wonderfully weird, and they're the only ones who get each other. As a neurodivergent reader, I was impressed by the representation. It felt realistic and authentic and it made me feel genuinely seen. I related so much to Kai with a lot of his hurt and fears with relationships.
Oskar is the ultimate comfort partner. The way he supports, understands, and helps heal Kai warmed my heart. The subtle touches of his Swedish culture add a fantastic layer of depth and charm to their story. I just thought Oskar was lovely and the ultimate book boyfriend.
Overall, this book is the perfect mix of spicy, cute, and sweet with the perfect amount of hockey. Ryan and Josh are amazing writers who know how to craft an addictive story and couple that draws you in from page one. I am beyond excited to continue this series! I definitely recommend this book!

This book was so good. I loved the characters, the communication, and the relationship was so sweet. I wish I could have read it faster. I’m very excited for the rest of the series.

Side note tho I did not like Kai😭 I was waiting for him to grow through his trust issues but 70% in he’s still pushing Oskar away and hurting him, and it just got frustrating for me.
ALSO AUTHORS!!! It’s okay to use the word autistic or whatever specific diagnosis the character has!!! it’s not a bad word 🙄 at least the word neurodivergent was used maybe about twice but my point stands.

This is the first book in the New York Condors Hockey series and what a great start to this series. I loved this book. This is the story of two professional goalies who meet in the off season. They hook up and start a friendship. First names only. But then hockey season comes around. Kai Mercer is the starting goalie for the New York Condors. Kai is an openly gay hockey player who is neurodivergent. To control the chaos he has walls erected. His off season friends with benefits is slowly bringing the walls down. Then at the start of the game he looks across and sees a familiar face. Shocked, stunned and stupefied. Kai can't believe that his Oskar is the back up goalie for the New Jersey Fury; Oskar Olofsoon. I absolutely loved how the authors described that scene. This is their story. The book is very well written. I admired how Kai's neurodivergence was portrayed. I enjoyed Oskar as he slowly started to learn American idiomatic expressions and slang. Oskar respected Kai and happily moved their relationship at a speed that made Kai comfortable. The two of them were actually adorable together. I received a complementary advanced review copy of this book from the author and I am voluntarily leaving a review. I really enjoyed the premise of two goaltenders. As they already have a reputation for being somewhat eccentric and very superstitious; it just added to the enjoyment of the story. This is another great book by this writing duo. I look forward to the next book in the series.

This is my first book by these authors but it definitely will not be the last. This book drags you in and keeps you turning the pages. I devoured Kai and Oskar's story. These two are so sweet together and while they have their struggles you know they are perfect from the get go.
Kai has struggled with relationships in the past due to his neuro-spicy self. He knows how to handle his issues but expecting others to understand is too much. Then Oskar walks in and brings peace in situations that always brought chaos. But could he really handle all of Kai?
Oskar has dreamed of playing hockey since he was a young boy. It was a shared dream with his best friend. Unfortunately only he made it. He left his family back in Sweden to follow this dream.
I adored the way these two connected in the beginning. It was hot and gave them something they had been missing but this was just casual....right?
Kai struggled with wanting Oskar but his fears have a hold on him. I loved how Oskar was so gentle and understanding but he wasn't giving up easily.

This is book one of the authors’ new, New York Condors series and features two goalies from rival teams; Kai from the Condors and Oskar, aka Ozzy, the new Fury rookie from Sweden.
I just can’t describe to you how much I loved this book! Kai, neurodivergent and terrified of commitment, nearly broke my heart with the way he processed his personal life. With an absolute a$$hole like his ex, it’s really a wonder he ever gave Oskar even a whisper of a chance but thankfully, Oskar refused to give up and was so wonderfully patient that Kai didn’t stand much of a chance. I think that might be the reason he was my favorite… for every time Kai panicked and tried to run, Oskar forgave him and doubled down on patience, no matter that he was hurt too, he was just so generous with his heart that it was impossible for me NOT to love him!
What started out as a simple hookup at a baseball game during the offseason became so much more, almost immediately, though neither realized the identity, or profession, of the other. The story of how they became the couple they turned out to be is something you really need to read for yourself; suffice it to say, it’s an amazing book that’ll keep you riveted from the first (super steamy) page to the last so check it out, you’re gonna LOVE it!! 5 stars

This was a fantastic goalie-versus-goalie romance with the perfect mix of hockey rivalry, emotional vulnerability, and undeniable chemistry. Kai’s need for control and Oskar’s quiet determination make them a compelling pair, especially when their anonymous summer fling unexpectedly follows them onto opposing NHL teams. I loved the contrast between their fierce competitiveness on the ice and the tenderness they share away from it. The pressure of chasing a championship while falling for the one person standing in the way adds plenty of tension and emotion. Sweet, steamy, and heartfelt, this is a thoroughly enjoyable hockey romance about finding home in someone unexpected. Loved everything about this story.

Fantastic book!
From the moment you meet Kai and Oskar, you fall in love with them or at least i did. These two just have just instant chemistry. The summer they had together was just magical and then the real world came crashing down. They realized what they both did for a living. Despite all that and some insecurities, they make it work.
I really loved how eager Oskar was to learn English and Kai was to learn Swedish. I loved how they worked together and the cute nickname of Ozzy. There was just an honest feel to this book and I loved everything about this book!

About 2 goalies on rival teams that have a chance encounter and fall for each other. Kai is the goalie for the New York Condors who likes his world to be carefully controlled. Oskar just arrived in America to play for the new Jersey's Fury. When they meet during the off season things start to heat up quick. After a surprise revel will they be able to survive the ever changing needs of a hockey season?
This was another great book from Ryan Taylor and Joshua Hardwood. I also loved the neurodivergent representation in this (as I have ADHD as well). I also loved how Oskar didnt necessarily change but he supported Kai in whatever he needed from him.

Wonderful Book
I loved Kai and Oscar's story. Kai's struggles with his neuro diversity and how they affect Oscar make for a compelling tale and both characters come across well.
The story is well written and builds to a satisfying conclusion.
Definitely recommend and can't wait for the next book.

So great how Oskar was open to his feelings and never gave up on Kai. Was the best progression of a relationship from hook-up to pseudo rivals to lovers. I miss them already.

Kai and Oskar's romance is very quick to heat up but quickly has it's obstacles upon discovering they are goalies for rival hockey teams.
The chemistry between these two men is immediate and intense, heating up between them within minutes of meeting. It feels so easy between them that you can't see what could hold them back. However, Kai has had a relationship end very badly because the guy he was with was a complete tool who lied and made him feel so badly about himself. Oskar gets to know and love Kai for exactly who he is but, as it is for a lot of people, Kai gets very in his head about things.
Playing on opposing teams brings up a number of hurdles for the two men and they have to decide if it is worth it to be together. If they are willing to be open about how they are feeling and thinking, and if a relationship is what they want.
Then of course there is the hockey. Ryan and Josh are some of the best authors when it comes to this genre of romance. I love the detail they give to the games and just what goes into being a player overall. I think that the neuro diversity representation has also been written extremely well. It's not specifically focused on but it's also a clear laer of Kai's life.
It's a great start to a new series and team, and I can't wait to see what comes next.

The core conflict in this book wasn’t that they were on competing teams or fear of society’s reaction if they came out, it was miscommunication. And pretty weak miscommunication at that. By the last third I was skimming to get to the end, and honestly it wasn’t worth it. The hockey was boring and the relationship angst was self-inflicted.
