I write emotionally twisted love stories where obsession isn’t a red flag—it’s a love language.
Dark romance is a new escape for me, but it quickly became my favourite. There’s something about a man who would burn the world down for one woman—and only her—that gets me every time. That’s what I write: stories where love is intense, healing comes with scars, and devotion runs just a little bit deranged.
I don’t have a writing routine. I write wherever, whenever, and as much as I can—usually while half-daydreaming about a morally grey man who can’t stop thinking about her.
My books live somewhere between spice and softness. There’s heat, sure—but also heart. I love characters who’ve been through hell and still find someone willing to walk through the flames with them.
If you’re into obsessive men, emotional chaos, and stories that leave you a little breathless, you’re in the right place.
When I say that I loooovveeeeee this book... I truly mean it❤️🔥💖💕 like how can I not? I love Eli and Emily🫶🏻 perfect couple✨ I'm so happy I got to read this before it comes out, I feel special🥰 AMAZING job Olivia😘
I am absolutely in love with this story! Olivia is the best and I love how she writes. Emily and Eli are end game and I love how they trust each other🥰🙈
“Doctor Emily Morgan. You might just be my newest obsession”
“She’s a mess. A beautiful, curvy, delicious mess. All belly and thighs and soft, tan skin that I want to worship. I want to map her with my tongue. I want to teach her what her own body is capable of.”

ARC Review Thank you to Olivia Jane for the free copy.
The last book in the series. Finally here. I’ve been waiting with barely restrained anticipation. This one had a bit of a different vibe. It felt less romcom than the others, even if the inner monologue was sometimes funny.
I liked the depth of the characters and how the other couples made cameos in the story. It really felt like a full circle moment. I think the reason why it’s rated a bit less for me, especially compared to the first three which were five stars, is because it wasn’t quite what I expected going in.
Maybe it even fits a different lane within the series, considering how different the tone feels. I love a good stalker romance, but some parts felt like they unfolded a bit quickly for my taste, especially with their relationship.
I also felt a bit of an imbalance in how that healing was handled. The MMC seems to be moving toward getting help by the end, while she isn’t quite there yet, which stood out to me. Especially with everything involving her mother and the way her weight has been used against her her whole life. I just found myself wishing we had explored that a bit more.
It was still fantastic, though, and I’ll keep recommending this series to everyone. This one just hit a little differently for me. Check your triggers.

> And God that voice. Deep and gravelly baritone. One word and I’m ready to fall to my knees in front of him. Hello? Professionalism? Ever heard of her?
> Why did I choose the most boring woman on earth to stalk? Did I strangle a nun in a past life?
> I’ve never understood people who wear outdoor clothes inside. Why would I want to be uncomfortable in my own home? No, I’ll wear my fuzzy socks and blanket hoodie with pride.
> “You, Emily Morgan, are the sexiest thing I’ve ever laid eyes on. And I want to bury my cock in every single one of your holes until you forget other men even exist.”
> “I don’t want your parts, Em. I want the whole messy, beautiful wreck. You are more than your body, but your body is a masterpiece. And I’d kill anyone who tries to take a single piece of it.”
> Nate’s already on his feet, eyes narrowed. “Someone better start talking before I get stabby.”
> “Hell yes. Welcome to the fucking club, girl. Ex killers.” She starts waving her hands excitedly. “Oh! Oh! Ex-Terminators.” Her grin widens. “We should start an ‘Unalive Your Ex’ support group.”

My Review This is book 4 in the interconnected Murderously Romantic series and what a way to wrap this series up. So much raw emotions, hidden vulnerabilities and that twist ending 🙌 was so good. I was so engrossed in this story and the characters development. I think as a woman Emily will always be someone I'd feel super protective of and hype her up to give her the confidence and love she deserves. (Love Carina for this support and her friendship). Emily's passion to help, heal and care for people is endearing while also having struggles of her own. Eli's obsessive desire is great to read and kept me hooked to see how far he'll go.
I thought that it was beautifully written in dual POV's which flows effortlessly from chapter to chapter creating such an enjoyable story packed with passion, desires, inner turmoil and self growth. I loved the plot throughout very gripping and thrilling. The developing relationships, building of trust with struggles amongst the way and areas of self doubt was truly amazing to read.
I am so grateful to have discovered and had the opportunity to read and follow Olivia's publishing journey. I have absolutely loved it and this series and would HIGHLY recommend! I eagerly look forward to reading more from Olivia and continuing to follow her writing career.
Quotes • "Why did I choose the most boring woman on earth to stalk? Did I strangle a nun in a past life?"
• "She doesn’t know it yet, but I’m the only one who’ll ever love her like this. Completely. Obsessively. Forever."
• “I look at her and see the only reason I have to stay on this godforsaken earth. You deal in parts. I deal in masterpieces. And I don’t let anyone touch my art.”
• “You think it’s about control,” his voice drops to a jagged rasp, “but it’s the opposite. I’m the one who doesn’t have control. The second you walk out the door, my lungs start to fail. I need the dot on the map. Watching you isn’t a choice I make. It’s the only way I can breathe.” He stares at me, unblinking. “It’s not about keeping you prisoner, Angel. I’m keeping you in existence.”
• "Our reflection meets my gaze in the mirror. It’s his expression that keeps my insecurities at bay. The open, unguarded love he wears so effortlessly."
I am sad that this is the last instalment of the murderously romantic series 😢 When I say that I was invested in these characters, I was consumed! Olivia's style of writing is just amazing, and I just can't get enough.

So... Eli and Emily. What a couple! 🔥 Dr Emily Morgan thought it was just a normal day until a new patient arrived for their therapy session. Enters Eli, a buff, tattooed Biker who she soon finds out, has stalker tendencies. Once he sets his eyes on someone, there's no going back! Emily has a peaked interest in Eli from the start, and soon enough, the professionalism slips, and she finds herself in a safe but controlling predicament.
'Is it normal to find your patient attractive?'
Emily is a curvy, beautiful woman who doesn't know her self-worth! Why would he want her? Why would he spend every minute of the day watching her 👀 Eli has his eyes set on his goddess, and there's no stopping him from getting what he craves. This story is dark and twisted, and the obsession is dangerous. I loved both characters so much. Eli has a dark rooted obsession but not all as it seems, and Emily is a runaway, and at some point, the past will catch up with her and potentially cut deep!!
Please check your triggers ✖️ This book pushes some boundaries that the others didn't.
Brace yourself everyone there is a new stalker in town and @oliviajanewrites has made him perfect. He hits all the red flags but also a whole heap of green flags too. He might climb in your bedroom window but hey he is stocking your fridge too - the perfect combination of dark and Rom com vibes.
That combination of rom-com meets dark sums up this amazing this and The Obsession Between Us is no different. It may have slightly darker themes but it still made me laugh out loud.
Despite all the rom-com vibes, there are some big emotions here that are explored in detail. I absolutely adored Eli and Emily - they are perfect for one another although deeply damaged and their relationship is definitely complicated (but you have to love them for it). There is something wonderful about reading a plot where the two main characters are 100% better and happier together than they are or ever would be apart.
If you haven’t read The Murderously Romantic Series yet - you really need to sort it out.

Book 4 in the Murderously Romantic series and it still reads as fresh as book 1. Eli is a walking red flag, especially coming to Emily - his psychiatrist - for his problems stalking women. But he's everything a dark romance girlie wants in a book boyfriend, obsessive, touch her and die, tattoos and a motorbike... What more could you ask for! I love how we have some curvy girl rep in Emily, as well as Binge Eating Disorder rep too. Emily portrays how most women see and feel about ourselves and I just wish we all had an Eli to boost our confidence. Special shout-out to the couples from the first three books making appearances, makes me so happy seeing them pop up 🥰🖤
Where do I even begin? First things first, thank you to Olivia for the ARC. You all know I’m a huge fan of the Murderously Romantic series and have been since Book 1.
This is Book 4 in the interconnected standalone series and follows Eli & Emily, A therapist and her HOT ARSE stalker patient. Listen… I love a book featuring a therapist, but what I love even more is when we actually get those therapy sessions detailed on page.
I fell for Eli so hard. Was it how completely obsessed he was? The way he loved her when she couldn’t love herself? The way he cooked all her favourite meals? Just… everything. He was like this little broken bird, and I was desperate for Emily to open her eyes and realise what she had so she could fall head over arse for him too.
This book has my whole heart. This is my first Olivia Jane book and it is most certainly not going to be my last I will go back and read the rest of the series. Eli and Emily have my whole heart. The way the author has described both their traumas with such sensitivity has my whole heart. As someone who has struggled with food and weight issues in the past it was lovely to see the author write with such love and sensitivity. The chemistry with both the FMC and MMC was just electric despite it being ethically wrong (whoops).
Thankful to the author for sending me an early copy, I can't fwait for everyone to meet the these two characters.
This book follows Emily, a therapist with a protective cat, a new hot patient and a stalker who leaves “gifts” and makes her feel desired and safe. ❤️🩹
And there was Eli, who wanted to stop his obsession with staking but found himself unable to resist Dr. Emily Morgan. His love for masks, bikes and knives is very much appreciated! 🥵
Spicy, captivating and intriguing, the story explores dark and heavy themes in a flawless way. 💯
This was such a good book! While it has darker elements than the first three, it was more emotional and had me shedding my fair share of tears. I resonated with Emily so much as a therapist myself and someone who is in recovery for BED. The fact psychology was well researched and well done. As always, in real life, therapists should never date their clients (just had to say that lol). I really enjoyed this book and it’s definitely one I would reread and recommend to people.
I read the first half of this book as a comedy, Eli is slightly unhinged obsessive stalker but he is adorable. Emily has been through so much from having a crazy ex to 2 stalkers to body shaming but Eli helps her see how beautiful she is and Emily helps Eli get through a past trauma too. They are amazing together in the most unconventional ways. Emily has the best unalive your ex support group too
This was dark, intense, and very hard to stop reading!
The story pulls you in right away. Emily’s life starts off quiet and controlled, and then everything changes fast. Between the mysterious new patient and the stalker watching her, there’s a constant feeling of tension. It made me want to keep reading just to see what would happen next.
The biggest strength of this story is the emotional depth. Emily has insecurities, trauma, and struggles with how she sees herself. That made her feel real and easy to care about. I especially liked how the story touched on feeling “seen” and wanted, even in unhealthy ways.
He's def intense and obsessive, which fits the tone of the book. If you like dark romance with a “touch her and die” vibe, this definitely delivers. His perspective adds another layer to the story and helps you understand his mindset, even when his actions are questionable.
That said, the relationship does develop pretty quickly. At times, I wanted more build up and more exploration of their connection. Some emotional moments could have gone deeper, especially with Emily’s healing journey. It felt like there was more to say there.
Overall, it's gripping, emotional, and addictive. It’s a strong mix of romance and psychological tension, even if it could have used a bit more depth in certain areas.
I was so excited to read Emily’s book because I really wasn’t expecting her to be the next interconnected standalone. I loved Dr. Morgan in the other books and I loved her in this. She and Eli were a match made in MaskTok heaven. Eli was such cinnamon roll stalker and Emily helped him so much. Plus shout out to the best character of all, Graham.
What a great way to wrap up this series. I loved Eli and Emily, they fit together so well. Her was an obsessive stalker but in the best way. And Emily was darker than what anyone would’ve thought. I loved them both for it though. I loved the dual POV as well. I felt like it really brought out the story, giving it more depth. I really enjoyed reading this one. It was a great story.
