Some romances are entertaining, but this one genuinely felt comforting.
Luke has officially earned a spot as one of my favorite book boyfriends. A tattooed biker doctor who is patient, protective, and endlessly kind? I was completely obsessed with him. Watching him slowly break through Fallon’s walls and give her the safety she desperately needed made this story feel so emotional and heartfelt.
Fallon’s journey was the part that stayed with me the most. She has been through so much, and seeing her slowly learn to trust, heal, and accept the love she deserves felt incredibly real. The chemistry between her and Luke was amazing, but what truly stood out was how safe and comforting their relationship felt for both of them.
I flew through this book in a single day because I could not put it down. Even with the heavier themes surrounding trauma, the story still felt warm, sweet, and deeply rewarding.
It was emotional, comforting, spicy, and exactly the kind of romance I love reading.

I loved this story, the writing, the characters. Fallon has a history and is scared to love. She has erected walls deep and tall around her heart.
One night out with friends, she meets Luke, they have a fantastic night together. Only for Luke to wake up alone.
Time passes and her friend ends up in the hospital. Her doctor is Luke. He is not letting Fallon off the hook until she agrees to go on a date with him. As the story moves forward, we peel back the layers on Fallon’s trauma.
The connection and chemistry between Fallon and Luke is strong, and he does not give up, he sees her. He is patient and slowly breaks through her walls.
Luke is my latest book boyfriend, and B.J. Dolan is one of my new favorite authors. I loved how easy this was to read, and hard to put down. I plan to go back and pick up her earlier books.

Luke. 🤤 Dreamy, doctor, biker, tattooed, patient, kind, will be there in a drop of a hat. He’s everything in one package!
Fallon. Has a traumatic past, scared to fall in love, hairdresser, independent, kind, strong and protective of her friend/s. She’ll do what she has to do in order to be there for whoever needs her.
I read this in 1 day. It had me totally hooked.
Meeting on a night out with friends, Fallon and Luke hook up.
When morning comes, Luke realises he’s woken up alone despite having a great night. Leaving him confused and ultimately, obsessed.
Fallon doesn’t want to get her heart broken again, so she does the only thing she knows to do. Dine and dash.
It isn’t until her friend ends up in hospital, does she bump into Luke, who happens to be the doctor treating her friend.
Luke decides to take things into his own hands and tries to pursue Fallon to go on a date with him. Which she agrees.
But can Fallon resist her urges and apparent attraction towards Luke? Or will she run for the hills in attempt getting her heart broken again?
This was a beautiful story Of past trauma, patience and love.
Luke wouldn’t push Fallon on her past, he let her tell him in her own time. He was kind, sensitive, funny and just overall amazing!

As the story continues you get to learn of Fallon’s past and why she’s like the way she is. Walls built up, keeping love out and her heart protected. How she managed to go through that at such a young age basically on her own, was remarkable. She hasn’t had it easy in life even as she got into adulthood. But I loved how her walls slowly came down and started to enjoy life again. And how Luke never gave up on her ♥️

This book took me a lot longer than I would have liked to finish. For those who vacant read the series before (like myself), the side plots may seem out of place. I was almost 40% through the book when all that has happened were incidents with the female lead (Fallon)’s best friend (Maya) and her abusive ex. We get the idea that Fallon went through the situation with Maya but we’re never told the role Fallon has in the situation which made her pushing away the male lead (Luke) to be aggravating for me. I understood that there was some trauma and there should be some suspense for the review but I wish the suspense was for Luke only because as a reader, I only got annoyed with Fallon.
Then the reveal with Fallon’s history FINALLY happens around 80% of the book and it’s not related to Maya at all. At least not that readers who haven’t read the series before know of which makes Maya’s whole storyline seem out of place ands frankly made it seem like this wasn’t Fallon and Luke’s book. Another gripe that I have is that at one point Luke notices that Fallon seems like an outsider in the friendship and I thought it would be expanded upon somehow but nope. Just a random thought apparently.
I liked Luke as a person but as a male lead, he was rather bland and frankly this book seemed like it could be more of a side story/novella for Maya and Tommy.
Then the reveal with Fallon’s history FINALLY happens around 80% of the book and it’s not related to Maya at all. I liked Luke from the start. He was all in, from the get-go, but he’s facing a major hurdle, and that’s Fallon’s mind.
“I’m poison, and even if I felt it too, I won't be dragging anyone else down with me.”
She’s been unlucky in love and holds people at arm’s length. She thinks she’s broken, and it’s so heartbreaking seeing her scared to reach out.
“Fallon,” his voice sounding raw. “Even a glow stick has to break in order to shine.”
I loved this. Slow-burn tension, instant attraction,, suspense and drama, a golden retriever MMC, a delusional stalker wannabe OW…
Some straight-up emotional healing for Fallon, but it was a hard slog, and those twists and turns certainly get you!
I thoroughly enjoyed this. My first read from this author, and certainly not my last.

Fallon has never been in love - at least not the real thing. She's been through a lot of tragedy in her life, and it's led to an inability to trust a man enough to allow him to get close. Luke is a doctor who has never met anyone he's willing to pursue. One night, when Fallon is out with the girls, and Luke is out with the guys, their two groups happen to comingle for the evening, and they have a one-night-stand. Luke is shocked to wake up alone the next morning. He can't stop thinking about Fallon, but has no way of finding her. Eventually, they bump into each other again, but she is reluctant to go out with him. He continues to pursue her, and she continues to hold him at arms length. Her past continues to be an issue, but Luke is determined to overcome any obstacle to get her to lower her guard and give him a chance. This was a sweet story of overcoming trauma to find the HEA you never knew you wanted.

I completely devoured this book in a single day—I was totally hooked from the very first page! It is an absolute must-read that flawlessly balances high-intensity steam with a deeply moving, beautiful story about patience, love, and healing from past trauma.
The story follows Fallon, a fiercely independent hairdresser who has built up massive walls to protect her heart, and Luke, who is officially the ultimate book boyfriend package. He’s a handsome, tattooed biker who also happens to be a doctor!
What I loved most was the incredible dynamic between them. Luke is a protective alpha, but he never forces Fallon to face her past before she's ready; instead, he patiently helps her lower those high defenses and becomes her ultimate safe person. If you're looking for an epic love story filled with undeniable chemistry, laugh-out-loud moments, and a beautiful emotional payoff, you need to read this immediately.

I was so excited for this book & it did not disappoint, I wanted to read Fallon’s book such much and could not wait when I saw it had been released!
I was invested, Luke is a top tier book boyfriend, he was so patient which is sometimes the biggest thing someone can give you. I loved that whilst he was patient, he was also there and present, also a hot doctor, motorbike & tattoos? Yes please.
Fallon, throughout the series I have loved her and reading her back story, just made me want to hug her so badly. I was so happy when she was able to trust someone again. Fallon & Luke’s chemistry, absolute fire.

The third book of the Desire Series does not disappoint. I was fortunate to receive an Advance Readers Copy of this book. I was sucked into the story and finished it within 24 hours. Fallon Luke is probably one of my favorite MMC in a contemporary setting. Fallon has not had an easy past and believes that she is unable to love. This is her story and struggle with feeling that she is worthy and deserves to not only find love, but accept love.
Luke- is probably my new favorite MMC for contemporary stories. Gorgeous, patient, doctor, and so much more!!! Who would not swoon over someone that says: “Oh no, Fallon. You���ve got it all wrong. I am very sure of you.”

I enjoyed the book, but there were several things that pulled me away from Luke and Fallon’s story throughout the reading process. It felt like there were missing puzzle pieces at times and incomplete thoughts. The flow just wasn’t there for me in several instances. That aside, I did enjoy the overall storyline. Luke fell quick and had the patience of a saint. When he could have given up and walked away in the beginning, he stuck around and tore down the walls day by day that Fallon had put up.

Dr Dreamy was everything I hoped he would be and more. I absolutely loved this book so much, I didn’t want it to end. I love just how kind and patient Luke was with Fallon and the trauma she’s been through? Check trigger warnings before reading. I felt like this one was slightly spicier than the others too which I am totally here for! This is an interconnected standalone but I would recommend at least reading book 1 if you haven’t already before reading this for a bit of context although it’s not essential.

Fallon has had a rough time living with her past and feeling as if she was too broken for anyone to love. That was until she met Luke's eyes in Jenson's bar. Luke supported her no matter how many times she tried to push him away. This was a great way to end the series and Fallon also got her HEA. I recommend reading this series, you won't be disappointed!

This book has an Elsie Silver vibe for me. I enjoyed it very much. I loved seing them evolve together and am very glad for the opportunity I had to know this author. I will definitely read the rest of her books.

This book has an Elsie Silver vibe for me. I enjoyed it very much. I loved seing them evolve together and am very glad for the opportunity I had to know this author. I will definitely read the rest of her books.

I loved Fallon & Luke. Fallon has her walls built so high and rightly so but reading her navigating her journey and lowering them was so good for the soul. Luke was a walking green flag, tattooed dirty talking biker doctor ... need I say more.
This one took me on an absolute journey, I laughed, cried, swooned and had my heart in my mouth I adore Beth's writing and am excitied to see where here writing journey goes next.

This one is bittersweet as its the end of this series. And what a ride its been. My poor broken girl Fallon needed all the love and support and boy did she get it whether she liked it for not. Luke was perfect for her and im glad they got their HEA. Thank you @bjdolanauthor for having me on this journey with you.

This is the story of Luke and Fallon who meet and have a one night stand. Unbeknown to Fallon, Luke is the only Doctor Maya (her friend) trusts so when she is attacked it brings Luke back into Fallons orbit. Luke has to work hard to get Fallon to trust him as she believes everyone who gets close to her gets hurt. It’s a fairly low angst read with a little crazy ex drama at the end.

This is the 3rd book in this series. It’s based on Fallon and Luke. This was a very well written book. I give this book 🌶️🌶️🌶️ for the spice. I definitely recommend it.

Fallon's story was just what I needed, and i am so glad I got to see it.
I cannot tell you how much I want a man like Luke. Just when I thought Tommy was the one, along comes Dr. Dreamy and I'm salivating.

An absolute gem of a book and such a lovely end to a little series about a group of family and friends ❤️
Luke and Fallons journey is a special heartfelt one, especially because Fallons story is so powerful and overwhelmingly sad. Out of the group of friends, Fallon is the one who has been hurt the most and in result of this, has absolutely no trust of anyone outside her group of friends.
Fallon learns to trust Luke as he shows her that he's there for the long long regardless of everything.
Not only did Luke and Fallon have an amazing bond and chemistry, but you could just feel the safety the felt round each other.
I adored all 3 books in this series and didn't want it to end at all!

Luke might genuinely be the biggest green flag MMC I have read in an incredibly long time. Patient, devoted, trusting. I adore him and his tattoos.
Fallon is...well a mess, but she gets there in the end.
This book is part 3 in a series, and I adore all the love here.
I will say some of the themes here got a bit repetitive, which is what kept it from being a five star for me. (Do we all need an angry dangerous ex?)
I still very much enjoyed this! Read it in a single sitting!

From the moment I applied for this ARC I've been really looking forward to it and it certainly did not disappoint! I adore Luke! He is so sweet! After everything Fallon has been through he still saw through the shields she was putting up.
I love how Luke instantly knew he wanted her💕
