Dreaming of You: A Legend World Novella

Flynn was too young for him.
That was what Marcus “Q” Quinterro had been telling himself for years.
It was never going to happen.
All he had to do was keep his hands off her.
Until one night, he couldn’t take it anymore.

Could this wild-child street racer of a girl who’d been trying to tempt him for years really be the one he’d been dreaming of all along?

In two days we meet parents, make a baby and move in....
She leaves everything behind, 7 years of street racing, amazing apartment and brains I think....

I love Q and Flynn and I was so happy to read their story. What could be considered insta love isn’t, it’s years of longing and finally giving in. If you enjoyed the Legend trilogy this is a must read!

The story you've been asking for!

I was so excited when I learned that this story was finally going to happen! The Legend Trilogy is one of my favorite Meghan March series and more of Flynn & Q is something I hoped to one day read about, as I love street racing and the nightlife and of course the possibility of love.
Now that the story is here I could not be more excited to say that I loved it! It was everything I had hoped for and more. I loved seeing the characters in a different light and learning more about them as they did about each other and those around them. And I got to see several of my favorite characters from story's past. You won't want to put this one down! Amazing writing as always. Thank you for writing this story!

I L-O-V-E Meghan March’s backlist and the Legend Trilogy is one of my favorites of hers. I’ve reread and relistened to it too many times to count. So it pains me to give this story only 2.5 stars.

I loved the spunky spitfire Flynn, the broody Q, and the little banter snippets between them we saw during Gabe and Scarlett’s story. But those character traits were nonexistent in this story.

I found myself missing MM’s normally strong FMCs with some grit and backbone! Marcus had her standard alpha but with heart traits, so no complaints there.

But there was no conflict the characters had to work through - nothing to give the story any oomph. No character growth or arcs. Flynn just rolled over and said, Yes, sir to all of Q’s dreams. (I was dying for her to fight back when he commanded that she stop racing.)

Maybe this could have been a stronger story had we been given some flashbacks to their verbal sparring in the club over the four years between stories? Maybe MM could have mixed in some flashback inner monologues about Q’s desires for a wife and family and Flynn’s maturing thoughts on what she wanted out of life? Maybe just a little proof that our beloved Q and Flynn were on the same path and just didn’t know it?

All in all, I’m glad Meghan March is back to writing!!! I pray that by knocking out all these loose ends she had left from her previous stories, she’ll knock the rust off and be ready to give us some great new reads in the future?!

Avocado-Green is my new favorite color 💚

I know I have always said that I could never pick a “favorite” book of Meg’s. I am about to break my own rule. Dreaming of you has to be my favorite book (novella) I love all of your books but…. I am so excited about this book and for everyone to read it. Who wouldn’t love Flynn and Q? I love how you put so much of yourself in Flynn. This was so much fun to read. I actually slowed down while reading so I could savor all of it and not miss any little details. I can’t say more because I don’t want to spoil it.

I LOVE THIS BOOK! I LOVE this story! I loved having all of the feels and laughing out loud! SUCH A GREAT READ!

Thank you for writing this story 💖🦄✨

Marcus has been trying to ignore Flynn for years. She is 9 years younger and he feels like the age=gap is too much. Add to the fact that he thinks she immature and selfish and he just doesn't want to take a chance of getting to know her. Flynn is about done waiting for him to notice her. She knows that she needs to let go of this dream if he doesn't come around soon. When Marcus has a dream he knows he needs to give this a shot for real. What he discovers is that Flynn is nothing like he thought. She is way more grown-up than he ever gave her credit for. I will say that I did enjoy this book. It wasn't too far-fetched and I liked both Marcus and Flynn. They were both true to themselves. They had a good outlook on their relationship. My favorite so far in this series.

How good is this story? You ask. Butterflies in your stomach good. I fell in love with Flynn and Marcus "Q" several years ago. I have been on the edge of my seat waiting for this release. This story is filled with life's perseverance, a strong family foundation, love, and most of all a reminder to never give up on what you desire most in your life. This is a must-read for fans of the Legend Trilogy, and if you haven't read them yet, what are you waiting for? Go get lost in one of Meghan March's incredible books today.

Good book
This was a very sweet romantic short novella. It was one big happy heartwarming story. Marcus (Q) and Flynn have had strong attraction and interest for each other for many years and this book starts with him finally making a move going all in for long term. No indecision from them both.
It was like all the happy feels endorphins we get with a HEA chapter but extended throughout the entire novella. They have minimal hiccups along the way but no drama or angst. I can see me re-listening to this when I want some happy feels.

Loved Marcus and Flynn story and so glad they got to develop in words. Such a lovely dreamy story that shows that perseverance can pay off. Age is only a number and trust, honesty and security is the recipe for a wonderful story. Marcus really is on Alpha, male, that literally makes the readers knees go weak, as Flynn is one very mature lady who is more than ready to try. Although her mother is something else. A really heart warming, easy read that is over far too quickly.

I do not mind a novella that is part of a series. For me, this was an easy quick read with spice, and love. Unfortunately, I would have preferred this to be a full length book. Everything happened so quickly and the ending was a bit abrupt. I love Meghan March and her stories. This one needed more for me. Marcus "Q" and Flynn do have a deep connection, yet the story could have delved more into their stories.

I was very disappointed in her new book. I felt it was redundant. There was a lot of repeating the same scene. He talks on and on about how young she is and that he shouldn't be with her. The age gap isn't even that big! She goes on and on about how she's loved him since she was 15. This book did not keep my attention as I put the book down several times. Not even the spicy scenes were enough.

I am very disappointed. Meghan March books have always gotten 4 or 5 stars from my ratings but not this one. Some of the plot components were so far from reality that I actually laughed and I don’t think they were meant to be funny. Unfortunately novellas are so short they miss all the important filler to make a story complete. This one didn’t have enough to be believable.

Flynn and Q finally get their HOA!!! Flynn has been trying for years to get Q's attention. Unbeknownst to her, he's been trying to not see her as he's had a thing for her as well. After a dream he has, he decides to go for it. They have so much in common and its worth the wait for them. Love this world.

Flynn & Q.

Old characters getting their story. I would have to reread books to remember them. Secondary characters have to be some kinda special for my old mind to remember.
MM still has skill at storytelling. But honestly I didn't enjoy. Just seemed a bit lame and dry.

Q and Flynn equal LOVE

My only complaint, it was too short!! Q and Flynn have a whirlwind romance after years of skirting around how they felt for each other. Q makes his mind up on Flynn and it’s full throttle ahead. A must
Read.

Too Short

Always a good read Not the better of Meghan’s reads. She always went deep into the characters and had a strong story behind each character. She was alway very steamy and you could feel the couples intimacy.

There was not much of a story but towards the end it reminded you to stay positive. I did like the St. Jude reference as I’ve always believed in him myself.
