I was so excited to see that we were getting an expanded version of Connor and Trouble - I mean Bliss’ - story. I really fell in love with them in their novella featured in Daddy’s Naughty List.

We start off with an action packed opener, and some electric chemistry between Bliss and Connor. Bliss’ hesitations and fears broke my heart, but I completely understood why she had them. It made me so happy to see Connor not only keep her safe physically, but also help her find a safe space mentally too. I also really loved Connor learning to be gentle with himself, too. I didn’t know I could love them even more than I already did.

As with all the Sabre Security books, there is no lack of action and suspense - or spice. It was so nice to be back in Darling with my favorite cast of characters!

I really liked reading this book the first time around but reading it this second time was much more enjoyable! It definitely helped in my opinion reading the series in order things made more sense. The characters are really interesting they keep each other on their toes plus the different personalities are really engaging to me. I personally really love Bliss strength in all aspects of what she faces and that she says what she’s thinking out loud. I couldn’t get enough of these two and their chemistry, playful conflict , determination among other things! I especially loved the bonus chapter it’s definitely shocking and me yelling at my phone and nervous 🥰

As someone who has followed this series and this author from the beginning, I truly appreciate seeing the growth happening in real time. Each charming story is even more developed than the last.
One of the standout strengths of this series is how distinct each character feels. Their voices, behaviors, and perspectives do not blur together or fall into repetition, which keeps every book fresh and engaging. In so many series, it seems that the main characters shared exactly the same thought processes, dialects and inner dialog. The people in the Sabre Security series shared exactly a very similar lifestyle, live in the same town and work together yet Cami puts the effort into to communicate that each character has their own, distinct personality.

I love second chance romance stories and Connor hit all the right notes for me! I really enjoyed this story! Connor had to rescue Bliss and as much as he wants her, he doesn't think he's good for her! To busy with life so when she does leave, he figures out how much he did want her! When she comes back with some surprises, he's shocked but still wants her so he's going to have to work to prove to her he cares! Well written and easy to follow, this story takes you on a journey while rooting for these two characters!

Bliss is Winnie's sister and has gotten herself into trouble with her father's crazy cult. Connor rescues her from the Russians, but she escapes from him before he can bring her home. He keeps track of her for months after her return and knows she has three babies, one of which is her natural child. Bliss has never trusted easily and she loves Connor but she knows he'll just leave her. But when she's really in trouble, Connor knows he must protect all his girls. Good HEA.

After reading the short version in an anthology I was excited to receive this extended version as an ARC, It did not disappoint. After a steamy time together Bliss sneaks away to handle business and Conner feels like she has ghosted him. She turns up later with three surprises but he decides that he loves her enough to fight for her and the life he wants with her. It is such a good story and I am so glad we got more of it.

I originally read this when it was part of the Daddy’s Naughty List anthology, and I was so excited to see it expanded into its own full length book and it did not disappoint.

This story grabbed my attention from the very beginning and never let go. Bliss and Connor share a complicated past that left them both hurting, and watching them find their way back to each other in this second chance romance was so emotional and satisfying.

Their journey is packed with angst, drama, humor, and plenty of spice, making it impossible to put down. If you love emotional, character driven romances with a bit of heat, this one is definitely worth picking up.

I love that Cami extended the Connor and Bliss story found in Daddy’s Naughty List Anthology. The heartbreak and love these two share just leaps off the pages. This is a Second Chance love story where they have to find their way back to each other. It does have a happy ending but man the tears and angst I had reading this book have me in my feels

I have loved all of Cami’s books and Connor was no different.

A turbulent rescue, a sweet and hot moment, and a lifetime together make these two one of the best couples.

Plenty of spice, plenty of angst, and a happily ever after makes this a wonderful addition to the Sabre Security group!

This book was absolutely amazing! It has all the emotions and laughs you could want. Connor made me mad at times but once you knew his back story you definitely feel for him. Bliss is doing her best as a mom and as a Little. I loved seeing their relationship blossom.

I loved this one so much, Connor and Bliss were made for each other. Both have back stories that haunt them but the rescue and banter makes it all worth it.

Connor is strict or tries to be and Bliss certainly keeps him on his toes at all times. Loved the ending it was perfect.

I’m loving this series and with each story it just gets better. Conner & Bliss have to go through a series of unfortunate events before they finally find their HEA. But as each book ends the mystery of The Society grows. I can’t wait for the next instalment.

Wow! What a fantastic story! I didn’t want it to end! I love this series so much and look forward to each new one. This time it’s about Connor, who is oh so delicious. He has a thing for Bliss, a Little girl who he wants with all his being, but doesn’t really have time for a relationship. That is until he is tasked with rescuing her and we all know how that goes! Bliss is such a delight, such a breath of fresh air, and has gone thru some horrible times, but somehow, she always perseveres. This story takes you on their journey, one of which I never wanted to end. I hoped that Connor would finally realize that Bliss is the only one for him, and when he finds out something about her, it just solidifies it. These two made me laugh out loud so many times with their witty banter and how Bliss constantly keeps Connor on his toes! And their chemistry is so sizzling hot, I swear I saw smoke coming off the pages of my Kindle. I also enjoyed all the other characters from this series sprinkled throughout which made my heart very happy. This story has really ingrained itself into my heart and soul, and I loved everything about it!

I absolutely adore how Cami Carlisle weaves so many feelings into her stories.
Connor has finally got his moment in this book and he shines. He has always wanted Bliss, but allowed his life to intrude to much.
Now Bliss is aptly named, with a happy soul, even when life a tried to beat her down.
This story has humour, joy and of course, smexy times that explode from the pages. It is always nice to see other book characters cameo in this too.
