I completed the book yesterday, and honestly I didn't expected.to be this good. The story of the book kept me hooked till the end..
Yeahh it is a short book of like 170 pages but it will make you read the whole book.... You girlies , by the dedication of the book is enough to read this book.
This book follows Tremaine a guy who has lived by the streets where survival is everything. He has incredibly tough personality but the way he softens exclusively for Breilla makes my heart melt... Their relationship is messy, raw and far from easy. It showcases the people from two different lifestyles and how they cope up to handle that...
If you think the book has no plot twist... Babe you are wrong cause it has not just one but many and it was jaw dropping one...

It's a fractured shattering and beautiful story of a man who's lived through the streets that many has been destroyed by.
It's an emotional love story angel who's lost and still cares a guy who is lost and wants nothing but love.
Childhood spent together she lives in his mother's house and she's the best friend of his baby sister a dynamic where you are literally family.
Hardshipd that minorities ho through I saw in every other page I love books where there's diversity and truths that you otherwise wouldn't know about if you don't pick them up.
It's a dangerous game and it's thrilling at times the suspense of what Tremaine will do he's very intense I would say and ambitious too, because he fights for what he holds dear and a girl will always want that in a man.
A story about a man who's too deep in the dwellings of the "streets" and he's empty it doens't feel good or even right to be where he's, he's to get out, but it isn't easy is it ever?
And it isn't until he founds comfort and love in a woman who loves her like the streets can never and so he decides he'll be out and bleach those dungeons away from his skin his mind and soul, relocate to know Tremaine journey do read the story it's ugly and beautiful as many things in this world without the ugly there's no beautiful.
Sometimes you never know love was just before your eyes- you have to say it, sometimes you need words. Sometimes we don't have telepathic abilities, souls can connect but affirmations are as necessary.

The Streets Don't Love Me Like She Does is a short novella of around 170 pages, but it draws your attention right from the very first page. Honestly, just reading the dedication alone will tell you that you are entering in for a completely wild ride!
The story gives us Tremaine and Brielle, leaning perfectly into the sister's best friend trope. Tremaine is deeply associated with street life and gang chaos. He has that incredibly tough, untouchable exterior, but the way he softens completely and exclusively for Brielle is everything. Brielle is so grounded and she offers a beautiful, stable contrast to Tremaines's dangerous world. She has loved him from afar for ages, and when their worlds finally truly collide, the chemistry is electric. They are opposites, but they are made for each other. She is calm to his chaos, and he is a prince charming she always needed in her life. He loves her like she is his world, and she trust him with her life!🤌🏼✨
But but but, this is not a sweet, simple fairy tale. Their relationship is messy, incredibly raw, and far from easy. The author does an amazing job of showing two completely different lifestyles trying to merge, and the characters make very real, deeply flawed choices.
But the strongest point of this novella is the plot twist and it's not just one, there are many😉. The twists and secrets are genuinely jaw-dropping. Just when you think you have a handle on the drama, a massive betrayal hits out of nowhere.
Overall I enjoyed reading it, and you can absolutely complete it in a day. So go for it, if you want something short to read with tropes like opposite attracts, she fell first he fell harder, sister's best friend, possesive MMC, strong FMC.

The plots were plotting in this one 😭
I’ll be honest, in the beginning I was a little sceptical. I wasn’t sure if this story was going to be my thing or if I’d actually connect with it. But the more I read… the more it pulled me in. And by the end? I was just sitting there like wow, I’m actually so glad I didn’t give up on this.
For such a small book (just around 171 pages), it carries so much drama, emotion, and intensity. There’s love, chaos, secrets, and moments that genuinely catch you off guard. It’s one of those stories where things keep happening and you’re like “okay wait… WHAT just happened?”
What really stood out to me was the dynamic between Brielle and Tremaine. They are so different from each other. She’s softer, more grounded, and thinks about her future, while he’s deeply rooted in the streets, impulsive, and used to surviving rather than actually living. And honestly, in the beginning, he was a jerk 😭 the way he handled things, his attitude, the constant push and pull… it was frustrating at times.
But that’s also what made their relationship feel real. You actually see him change. Bit by bit, because of her, because of what she represents, he starts wanting more than just the life he’s always known. Their connection isn’t perfect or easy, but it feels intense and genuine, like two completely different worlds trying to meet in the middle.

Firstly can we talk about the dedication because that's just so bold and you can feel from the dedication alone that this is going to be a RIDE.
This book is not your average sweet and soft love story. From the very first page there's drama brewing, chaos happening, definitely not a slow start and hey, I am not complaining.
Tremaine, our MMC is involved in shady stuff like gangs and stuff, he's a guy raised by the streets.
Brielle, our FMC, is Tremaine's sister's best friend and she has loved Tremaine from a distance for a while now. But some stuff happened and she confessed.
These two went through so many ups and downs, most of them were downs really but still their bond UGH AMAZING! There are so many plots and twists at every turn, I couldn't predict any of them happening. This kept me hooked throughout the book. Characters who are supposed to be not present , somehow pops up in their lives like "Hi, here I am!! " Which is just DAMN.
What Tremaine believed about his whole life turned out to be a lie but despite the major turmoils in his life he made a commitment to Brielle and he stuck up to it. That was honestly the best part. How he changed himself, he was willing to give up his entire life and try to be a better person because Brielle made him want to be a better person was just awwwww.
Overall, this is a fantastically written book which will have you guessing the plots but you probably won't be able to and that will keep you hooked throughout.

Tremaine has this cold and tough personality because of the life he has lived, but the way he slowly softens for Brielle was everything 🫠. Their relationship is not perfect or easy, and that’s what made it feel so real. The chemistry, the push and pull, the misunderstandings, and the emotional moments kept me completely hooked.
What I loved most was how the story showed that love cannot magically fix everything overnight. Tremaine is deeply connected to the streets and the life he has known for years, so watching him struggle between survival and wanting something better felt emotional and realistic.

The Streets Don't love me like she does- This novel was fast paced. The twists, suspense and secrets were really Jaw dropping and that kept me hooked till the end. Both the main leads Teramine and Brielle had this amazing chemistry and their life was messy and chaotic.
This story was emotional at times and one can sympathize a lot with the leads.
Sensitive topics were discussed and at times it was heartbreaking to read. There were action packed scenes also which made the story really interesting.I did like that at the end one can see the relationship depth between the main leads. The trope of Sister's best friend was presented really well. The bond between Brielle and Ayesha was realistic and amazing.
It was a quick read and can easily be read in a day. Overall I enjoyed this story and would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys fast paced novellas and lots of twists to keep one at edge!!

i really thought it was just going to be another "thug falls in love" story, but the author came through with the PLOT TWISTS! 🫡
first of all, Tremaine (stacks) is that "hard on the outside, soft for his woman" type of hero that we ALL love, but the secrets in his family are absolutely INSANE! CRAZY! 🤯
the chemistry with Brielle was everything, she's so smart and strong, especially after what that snake Darius did to her (I HATE HIM WITH MY WHOLE EXISTENCE) my heart literally BROKE during that reveal and the ending?! i was NOT ready for it at all!!
if you want a story that has REAL street grit but also deep, emotional romance, YOU NEED TO READ THIS. the streets really don't love you, but this book definitely will! 10/10 RECOMMENDED! 🔥💯

This story pulls you straight into the reality of street life, loyalty, and love. We follow Tremaine, also known as Stacks, a man deeply involved in the streets who suddenly finds himself facing something much closer to home….his little sister becoming entangled with drugs and the same lifestyle he knows too well.
In the middle of all the chaos, he finds comfort in Brielle, his sister’s best friend, and their connection adds a softer layer to the story. I didn’t like how Brielle was so forward with Tremaine towards the beginning. Like I get girls can shoot their shot too but girlllll stand up! lol
The emotions and relationship dynamics kept me engaged throughout though and the story balanced grit with romance really well.

This book was much more emotional than I expected. It’s not just about romance, but also about how hard it is to leave a life that keeps hurting you.
What I liked most was how real the characters felt. The main character is trying to choose between his old life and someone who truly cares about him. You can really feel his confusion and pain while reading.

The book was so good. I love the chemistry and the dynamics between the characters.
The plot was so amazing that I was so captivated. The book being a very short read and very interesting read kept me hooked and captivated throughout. I was
not able to keep it down until end, unless I was done with it and to be very honest, I was really very sceptical about whether I will like the book or not, or whether I will connect with the characters or not, but while reading after only 10-20%, I was so in the book that I was ignoring my sleep and continuing to read the book if you love something with a very good plot and the best dynamics between the character, no unnecessary drama and no miscommunication. You should definitely read this book. You will love it

The streets don't love me like she does is a quick and short read but it makes sure that it gives you a reason to get hooked on the story. The book is written in the street language making it a different reading experience.

The book started off really well, it talks about the life on the streets how loyalty and substance use along with violence shape life. How unstable and dangerous it really is.
The twists especially about Tremaine's family was shocking to say the least, the way his life was so unfair how he had to deal with things at such a young age because of a lie. The manipulation and lies left me deeply shook.
And Darius the whole plot twists had me rereading just to make sure I didn't miss something and misunderstand.
Among all this Brielle’s character was the only one who i found a little normal, she has had her fair share of problems but the way she deals with things is nice.

Action packed, short read which i read in 1 sitting. Engaging from the start and I literally flew through. This was the first time where i felt, there was no need of introduction or background information
Even though this is a short read, its filled with brutal plot twists and shocking revelations which you cannot imagine.

This book was a perfect quick read, just what i needed after finishing a series. The story revolves around Brielle and Tremaine. Growing up watching Tremaine in the same gathering, Brielle had a huge crush on her best friend’s big brother. But the thing is, he was never easy. His life was just messed up. This story turned out to be more emotional than I expected. It shows how hard it is to walk away from a life you’re used to, even when you know it’s hurting you. The characters feel very real, especially with how they struggle between love and their choices. It’s not always easy to read, but that’s what makes it stay with you after finishing.
